"Kya kah rahi thi Maa tumse?", Rajveer asked although knowing the answer before her reply.

Naina sighs and looked at him. Reeti came in the room some time back when Rajveer left to get the medicines.

Reeti saw the baby sleeping in the cot. She just stroked her face lightly, baby squirmed but didn't wake up.

Reeti saw Naina looking at her.

"Bahut pyari hai. Thanks for her Naina", she said earnestly.

Naina gave a small smile.

"I know ye sahi waqt nahin hai par mai tumse kuch kahna chahti hu", Reeti said.

Naina kept quite. She had a sure shot hunch what would be coming next.

"Beta ab tum dono akele nahin ho na ye rishta pahle ki tarah hai. Tum dono ke uper ek bacche ki zimmedari hai ab. Us bacche ko sirf Maa ya sirf Baap nahin balki tum dono ki zarurat hogi", Reeti said looking at Naina who was looking anywhere but at her.

"I know I am sounding typical but I think tum dono ko ek dusre ko ek aur chance dena chahiye", Reeti finally said what she wanted to say all this while.

Naina was about to say something when Reeti again said, "Abhi Kuch mat kaho. Socho is bare me. Koi zabardasti nahin hai".

She got up and kissed the baby. She didn't even stirred this time, deep in her sleep.

Reeti was about to close the door when she turned, "bas ek choti si request rahegi Naina. Jo bhi decide karo tum, please mujhe is bacchi ki zindagi me shamil rakhna. Chahe vo involvement thoda hi ho, mujhe shikayat nahin hogi. Par please, I want to see my grand daughter grow up".

Her voice was chocking while saying all this and she left immediately.

"Make a guess. I am sure you will get it right in first one", Naina said looking at him with straight eyes.

"To think again about our separation?", Rajveer asked.

"Bingo. You have now hit the jackpot", Naina said in sarcastic manner.

"I am sorry. She talked to me about this couple of times. I knew it's a matter of time when she will start asking you too", Rajveer said with a sigh.

Naina didn't said anything and Rajveer felt awkward. He kept the medicines on bedside table and got a respite when nurse came for the feeding session.

He came out in the lobby to find a jumping Naveen.

"Raj...Raj...mera Bhai....meri shadi hone vali hai. Abhi se chuttiyan book kar le aur koi natak nai chalega sab kam karvana padega tujhe aur Naina ko", Naveen said feeding him a sweet.

Rajveer gulped the sweet down, "shadi? Tune Sherry ko pucha matlab shadi ke lie?".

"Han to aur kisi ko puchta kya? Itne saalon se mehnat ki use patane me aur waste kar deta. Raj mai Dulha banunga....Raj mai dulha banunga", Naveen said while dancing.

"Bhai bas kar, Sherry dekh legi na to shadi tod degi"

"Chup kar sale. Sherry bahar gai hai, Aunty ko drop karne", Naveen said taking a seat.
