Ritu smiled genuinely and hugged Rajveer. He embraced her in his arms to protect her from everyone, even herself.

Naveen: use dil se bahan mana hai maine Sherry. Ab use dukh me aise dekh nai sakta. Mujhse nahi ho payega yar.
Sherry: Navu agar tune soch samajh ke ye faisla lia hai na to bas fir no tension.
She smiled at him. His favourite smile which makes him forget everything else.

Naveen: Naina bas kar ab. Chalo chal ke khana khao ab. Pichle ek hafte se tumne dhang se kuch nai khaya hai.
Naina states at him with vacant eyes. Naveen dies a death everyone she looks at him like this.
Naveen: Naina please. You are pregnant, you have to take care of yourself.
Naina slides her hand on her stomach. The single ray of sunshine in her life, her baby.
She looked at Naveen, her vacant eyes have a slight glimpse of light in them. She took the plate and ate a little.
Naveen sighed in relief. It's the first victory, in the long battle Naina have to fight now. This time he won't let her fail, this time he will make her strong to fight her own battles.
He kept watching her eat and then she went inside kitchen. She came back with two mugs of coffee.
He took one mug and she sat on floor with him.
They both sipped it in silence. Naveen wanted her to take her own time to speak. The shock she went through was pretty loud and he knows she is still living in the vibrations of it.

Rajveer: Maa mai janta hu. Par maine usse pyar kabhi karna kabhi chod hi nahi
Reeti: Raj par Naina
Rajveer: Naina ke sath to maine galat kar dia hai maa. Kisi na kisi ka to dil dukhta hi mujhse. I know this and trust me I do feel bad I had to do this.
Reeti : kyu ki ye shadi fir Rajveer? Tu mana kar deta mujhe.
Rajveer: I know I should have. Kaise hai vo?
Reeti: mujhe kaise pata hoga.
Rajveer: matlab? Vo ghar nahi ayi?
Reeti: nahin. Vo apne chacha chachi ke ghar par hogi na? Tune kahan choda use Raj?
Rajveer's phone slipped from his hands. He knew that Naina will never go back to her uncle's place. He was very sure that Naina will return to his house, but apparently she never went there.
"Kahan ho tum, Naina??", Rajveer wondered.
Suddenly he felt the panic of not knowing her whereabouts. His hands are sweating due to the stress he is feeling. Cold sweat and high heartbeats, clear indication of nervousness.
Till now he knew that he did wrong but the impact of his sudden disappearance is slowly getting dawned on him.
Now Naina is no where. He ran away from her but how can he run away from himself. He is not able to deal with not knowing about her. Her well being was his responsibility but how can he do it with Ritu?
This impasse will never leave him. Choosing between them was hard, but did he truly left Naina? Or is she still in his system?

Sherry: Navu... Naina kaise hai ab?
Naveen: vaise hi hai. Bas ab din me do time khana kha leti hai.
Sherry: Kya sach me hum kisi ki help nai le sakte for Naina?
Naveen: ek dost hai Naina ki, Pooja. Par vo is waqt army academy me training me hai. Ek bar bat kar sakta hu usse. Fir dekhte hai.
Sherry: hmm. Thik hai.
Naveen: ek bat nai samajh pa rha hu bas
Sherry: Kya?
Naveen: Raj ko maine Naina ke bare me kuch bhi nai bataya hai. Usne jis tarah use yun chod dia.....fir Naina ne bhi usse bat karne se mana kar dia...mai kuch decide nai kar pa rha hu
Sherry: to mar kar decide
Naveen: matlab?
Sherry: matlab jab samajh nai aa rha hai to kyu
complicate karna. Leave it. Jab samajh aa jayega tab decide kar lena
Naveen: aur tab tak der ho gai to?
Sherry: ho gai to ho gai. Naveen dar mat. Ye koi question paper nahin hai jahan right or wrong hoga. Ye humari life hai, humari choices se ise direction milti hai.
Naveen: Yar kabhi kabhi na mujhe lagta hai ki itna lucky kaise ho gya mai ki mujhe tum mil gai?
Sherry kissed him lightly, "kyuki I choose you to be the lucky one"
He smiled and squeezed her in his arms. They sat like that for some time. Sherry knew how emotionally draining it's has become for Naveen to support Naina.
Naveen lied on her lap while she brushes his hairs, "I never thought Raj would ever do that. Specially after watching him, practically his entire childhood craving for attention. Now he left the person whose entire attention was on him"
Naveen: I couldn't believe it myself either. I mean he is my best friend actually he is more of a brother to me. I can never imagine him doing this with anyone let alone his wife.
Sherry: do you think Ritu instigated him?
Naveen: baccha nai hai vo Sherry. He can make up his own mind, it's time he should be accountable for his own blunders.
Sherry: you know I hated that Ritu. She always took advantage of bhai. I mean she really is a bitch even before her mental issues.
Naveen: pata nahin yar. But I still think Raj is more responsible for this mess. Usne jo bhi kia, Raj koi bevkuf thodi hai jo use apna acha bura samajh nahi ata.
Sherry: you are right. Mana ki Aunty uncle ki jhagdo ka asar us par bahut gehra pada hai par is bar usne sach me had ki hai.
Naveen: Han. Par yad Naina ko is sadme se bahar nikalne ke lie kuch karna padega.
Sherry: hmm. Chal sochte hai kuch na kuch.
