Rajveer is looking at Moon thinking about his marriage. Today it marks one year. His wedding to Naina and now they have filled separation.
It will be official in coming months too. So much has happened in these past few months.
His feelings moved from attraction to love to guilt to friendship to care to respect. Full roller coaster ride they had.
How much Naina have changed in this time is phenomenal. He feels like she is different person somehow.
Reeti joined him on terrace, "acha nai lag rha hai na Naina ke bina".
Rajveer kept quiet.
"Kyu chala aya aise? Tujhe vahan rukna chahiye tha. Use teri zarurat thi", Reeti said again.
"Uske pass Naveen hai ab", he said looking away.
"Par vo teri kami nai puri sakta hai Raj....itne waqt se to tu tha na uske sath", she said.
He kept mum. Reeti is looking at him. He is looking troubled but as always couldn't react.
"Raj...I know tu sunna nahin chahta hai par I think ki tum dono ko ek dusre ko ek aur chance dena chahiye", she said insisting him.
He stubbornly didn't looked at her.
"Us bacche ko ek parivar chahiye hoga Raj. Sirf Maa ya Baap nahin balki uske parents. Aise bhi Naina ya tu use akele nai manage kar payoge. Tum dono pura karoge ek dusre ki kamiyon ko. Sath sab aasan ho jayega beta", she tried to gain his attention keeping hand over his shoulder.
He looked at her helplessly but didn't said anything.
She ruffled his hairs, "sochna is bare me beta".
Rajveer kept looking at the moon thinking about the things his mother said.

"How much apart are the contractions Naveen?", Shalini asked frustratingly third time.
"Apart matlab kya yar? Use rah rah kar bahut dard ho rha hai", Naveen said nervously.
"Are Yar.... We have two measure time between two contractions. They have to be atleast 10 mins apart tabhi koi sense banega to admit her. Uska hospital ka bag ready hai?"
"Ummm...", Naveen is overwhelmed and out of context here.
Shalini understands, "Rajveer kahan hai?".
"Vo ...use to maine kah dia vapas jane ke lie. Mai to hu na ab. I can manage Naina"
"Dikh rha hai vo to. Call him Naveen. He was with her all this time. Use sab pata hai", Shalini said in exasperation and disconnected.
Naveen sighed over the irony. He just have to make a fool of himself now calling Raj back. But then what choice does he have?
