As I try to stretch my arms, I'm only granted limited access. With a whine, I pat Taeyang's arm to see if he's awake.

"No," he groans, "You're my prisoner for the day. I'm tired of working."

I begin to argue only to remember he had a point. Plus, there wasn't much to do anyway. With a small hum of agreement, I burrow deeper into his warm embrace, a glimmer of a smile fighting to appear on my face. Taeyang exhales, his hold tightening for a second before he's nuzzling his face in my hair.

"President Maggie's gift of our own trailer was the nicest thing I think anyone's ever done for me," he admits.

"'President Maggie'," I repeat with a laugh.

Our own trailer- something that still felt unreal.

After the biggest cleanup and everyone was back in their respective camps- the absence of people lost in the war was made clear. With dad, Tina, Ayeon, a few other Demeter residents, as well as a number of ex-Saviors staying in Hilltop, we still very clearly had space left after they were settled.

And with Maggie in charge, she was quick to place everyone in their positions and roles.

For me (co-architect) and Taeyang (who is a part of the run crew), Maggie decided it was only right for us to have our own trailer. Dad side eyed the decision, but he eventually came around, though he did have a 'dad talk' with Taeyang that made Taeyang sleep with a pillow between us for the first two weeks of us living here.

"President Maggie," Taeyang repeats with a lazy laugh, "Survived a war, could have a baby at any second, and presidency. The Maggie Rhee way, I guess."

"Runs in the family," I shrug lightly.

Taeyang's hand massages a soothing pattern on my arm, a quiet noise of wonderment coming from his chest.

"You know.. Since you are technically still legally-"

"Legally?" I repeat, "Just because we have 'President Maggie' we have laws again?"

"We do," Taeyang nods.

"Daniel's probably already broken them all."

Taeyang laughs, muttering a 'definitely' under his breath before settling again.

"But, legally you're still a South Korean citizen.." he recalls.

"I feel like we've had this discussion before," I note.

"Not quite," he denies.

"How so?" I wonder, pulling my head up to look at him.

"Well.. South Korean women don't change their last name when they get married," Taeyang notes.

"That's true," I confirm with curiosity eating me alive.

"Just saying," he tilts his head.

"Just saying what?" I squint to him.

"If we ever get married.. You'd still be a Rhee," Taeyang explains.

I couldn't say anything for a second, only looking at him with too many thoughts.

"Right.." I finally say with a single, slow nod.

"Right," he does the same motion.

"And you're bringing this up now.." I say, wanting so badly to add a questioning 'because?' at the end.

Taeyang smiles, a breath of amusement escaping his parted lips before he rests back on the pillow.

"Don't know.. Guess it's just something on my mind," he figures.
