Found family is a blessing

Found family is a blessing. People that have chosen you and that you chose back out of pure love and care- no prior strings attached.

T-Dog was found family- 'Uncle T' so much more than just a nickname to Hana.

Carol was found family- the mother of Hana's best friend that grew so distant to Hana despite her wanting nothing more than their bond back.

Lori was found family- something like an aunt or motherly figure to Hana that prioritized her baby's life above her own.

Found family lost because of a person. A single person with a vendetta against the group and a mind dark enough to go through with his plans.

Glenn is family- bloodline and all. And through him, that meant Maggie was family as well.

And Maggie and Glenn were taken by another person. A single person with a vendetta against the group and a mind dark enough to go through with his plans.

Hana hardly remembered Merle, but she could easily recall Glenn's warnings about him back at the quarry camp. 'Selective' was the word Glenn used to lessen the true person Merle was and his tendencies.

People were dangerous, it's a fact Hana had known for many years, especially after Shane's reminder of people and monsters being the same sometimes. Shane's own demise as he was a monster disguised as a human only cemented the thought.

A few bad seeds every now and then- Ilseop, Ed, Shane, those men from the bar, the couple prisoners, those made sense. In such a large group, it was expected to run into a few bad people.

But, when there's an entire town following blindly behind a single man that had darker intentions than every monster combined- then, what?

A single man that led by fear and threats. How could have so much hatred in their heart?

And for Hana, how could she ever tell the difference between those monsters and humans?
