ASHER ADAMS POV

Today has been so damn peaceful. Why? Because Alexa and Ruby are suspended and I'm loving every second of it!

Now I don't have to see that chucky doll running around all smug, and don't even get me started on Alexa. She pisses everyone off, even her own boyfriend. That's why he snitched on her ass.

Man, I have Cesar to thank for everything. But I can't worry about that right now. I need to get to class. So I stepped into the classroom and my teacher spoke to me.

"Asher, your partner is Olivia. That won't be a problem I hope."

That's never a problem. "Never."

I walked up to Olivia and she smiled at me. "Hey Ash."

I sat down next to her, shocked. "Wow. Ash. I thought only Chloe called me that."

"You know that I was calling you that way before Chloe did."

She's not lying. "I know. And then I called you Liv back and everyone started using it."

Olivia grinned. "And that's how our friendship kicked off."

And we could've been more than friends, but Jordan...

"How are you and Chloe though?" Olivia wanted to know.

I deflected. "I think the more important question is how are you? You and I have barely talked."

Olivia frowned and looked down at her desk. "Yeah, sorry. I've been too busy worrying about He Who Shall Not Be Named."

"Latrelle," I said for her. Olivia's shocked that I know that. "Jordan told me that Latrelle's your adopted brother. I'm sorry about that. You two seemed to be kicking it off pretty well."

Olivia spoke sadly. "We loved each other, Asher."

Ugh, here goes that pang of jealousy again. And I don't understand why because all Olivia and I did was have a one night stand two years ago! But I'm still so damn attached.

Olivia's angry now. "And now none of that means shit because of Jordan's curiosity! I hate him!"

"Yeah I know. He told me that too. But he was just looking out for you."

Olivia scowled. "Jordan doesn't look out for anyone but himself. He's so damn self centered and I swear to god, that's gonna be his downfall!"
