The first installment of the Sandoval Trilogy
This is my first romance trilogy, not including my romance series, that I'll make. This story will talk about a female lawyer who'll defend his billionaire ex-boyfriend. This story will discuss family, friends, politics, money, journalism, law, and so many more.
This story was lowkey inspired by Defend Me, Attorney of VeiloftheDark and the hit Kdrama Law School. When I first read Defend Me, Attorney, I started to make a law story because I know to myself that I can do it as well. Watching the Kdrama Law School also kept me inspired in writing and updating this story. When I said inspired, it's only inspired. The plot is completely different from the aforementioned works. I hope you understand!
Disclaimer: My story, my world. This story will just reflect how normal people perceive politics, court trials, love, and money, as well as family issues. All the names, events, places, etc. are fictitious unless otherwise stated. This story is only a FICTION. Though, I'll do it as realistically as possible.
I'll also use the American system of court proceedings. This system utilizes three types of juries which are the investigative grand juries, petit or trial juries, and civil juries.
This system was different here in the Philippines since it uses bench trials in court proceedings. Some scenes or court trials may or may not have some chaotic scenes to depict possible happenings in a court trial, but it doesn't mean disrespecting the kind of court trials that we (and other countries) have.
I'm not a lawyer, but I'll try my best to make this story 99.9% realistic. Again, this is just fiction. If you're looking for a hundred percent realistic law fiction story, then this story IS NOT MADE FOR YOU.
