"Come with me, I'll show you."

Dan hesitated. He wondered what Peace wanted to show him.

Rage, inside of him...

"What's your aim Peace? What do you want?"

Peace paused and turned to him.

"I already made my choice."

"I just want to be alone, that's not too much to ask."

Dan turned and started walking away.

But he didn't take five steps before an invisible barrier obstructed his path.

Dan gritted his teeth, his hand tightening around his sword.

The plain on which they stood pulsated all around them; shifting and turning.

"Remove the barrier."
Dan's voice was deathly quiet.

A cold chill spread throughout the plane.

"Do not stop me, Peace."

"I am not."
Peace didn't seem the least bit disturbed, it's almost like he'd expected Dan's reaction.

"Take it down."

"There are no barriers, " Peace responded.

"The only limitations lies in your mind."

"You do not wish to leave, young one, no matter how many times you say contrary."

His head lowered and he clenched his fist.

"Draw your sword."

"I do not wish to fight you, young one."

"I'm not asking."

"If I defeat you, you remove that barrier."
Dan pointed to it.

"And if I win?" Peace said.

"Then I'll stay and listen to what you have to say."

There was a pause for a moment.

"Okay."

Peace drew his golden sword.

"Where is he?!"
Hell shook as Lucifer's roar rang throughout the expanse.

The flames in the sulphuric environment seemed to burn with insane intensity.

"W-We can't find him M-Master."
One of the lesser demons in Dan's rank squealed.

"He hasn't summoned any of us in a while."

Lucifer's eyes flashed red.

The battle at the wall was merely a partial victory. The wall was breached and the cities desecrated but the Olive Trees that were captured got away.

How could he have allowed that?!

At that point, his wrath knew no bounds.

"You should know where he is."
He turned to Sin who had been silent all the while.

He knew she'd been going to see him weeks following the fall of the wall.

"It's probably Peace's doing, " she stated quietly.

Lucifer gritted his teeth—his arch-nemesis.

He guessed as much.

Dan is his child, he would never dare leave him. If he did, it would mean DEATH.

Dan breathed heavily as sweat broke throughout his body.

He'd never felt this fatigued fighting a foe. They've been going at it for a time and with each strike, he noticed he got weaker.
