april 10, 1977

It was Easter Sunday, and Selene had been Theodore-free for almost four days now, and she was to say the least, happy. She had spent those four days owling Regulus and trying to convince her parents to let him come over.

Selene was extremely bored and had some extreme findings to share with Regulus that couldn't be shared via owl, incase it got intercepted or fell into the wrong hands.

Finally after trying to convince her parents that there was nothing going on between her and Regulus anymore, they surrendered and let him come over for the day.

Meanwhile at 12 Grimmauld Place, Regulus was convincing Orion and Walburga Black to let him go over the Rowle Mansion. They were hesitant but only because of the Christmas incident, but they trusted their son.

After all he had never given them a reason not to, so they granted his wish and allowed permission to go visit his best friend.

So when Regulus arrived at the Rowle Mansion that Sunday morning, Selene wasted no time dragging him to the library.

"Woah woah Rowle slow down" he laughed "First, you owl me, asking me to convince my parents to let me come over here on Easter. Which I might add, I did incredibly, and then when I arrive you don't even have the decency to give me a proper welcome. How utterly disrespectful" he faked offense

"Hello dearest Regulus Arcturus Black, of the Noble House of Black, welcome to thy place of moi hospitality" she shook his hand firmly, "Is that good?"

"Pretty good, we need to work on your handshake though" he teased

"Shut up let's go" she laughed

Once they finally reached the library Selene shoved Regulus down into a seat on the couch and quickly grabbed a large book from the shelf behind him,

"Um ouch" he put his hands on his chest where she pushed him

"You're fine" She shushed him as she dropped the thick book on his lap, sitting next to him on the black velvet couch. He groaned as the book landed on his legs.

The book was wider than it was taller, with a thick black leather cover that had words that must have been pressed into it. Regulus ran his fingers over the grooves in the letters,

The Sacred Twenty-Eight

He looked over at Selene,

"What am I looking at Selene?" he queried

"It's the family tree's of all the sacred twenty-eight families!" She said eagerly.

"Gross"

"How is that gross?"

"The pure amount of incest in this book is to put it nicely, nasty" he said tapping the cover with his fingertips dramatically

"Dear Merlin" She rolled her eyes "Well anyways, I was looking through this the other day, to see which families were coming to the wedding-"

"Wedding?!"

"Oh yeah, I'm getting married this summer-"

"HOLD ON" Regulus exclaimed "We are not gonna act like you didn't just say that you're getting married this summer."

"What else is there to say, I knew it was happening, so did you" she shrugged

"You aren't even of age!"

"I don't have to be" she shrugged it off

"But Selene... never mind go on" he sighed. Regulus assumed she was either in deep denial or internally dying, probably both, they go hand in hand, either way it as best not to push her.
