Imagine it's the battle of Hogwarts and Tom was hit by the Crutacious curse.

"Y/n stay with me!" Tom yells, yanking you down the hallway and into a room.
"Tom Riddle, stop right there!" The familiar voice of Harry Potter beams. You whip your head around and stare at him.
"Get behind me y/n" Tom demands.
You obey and quickly step behind him. He straightens himself up and raises his wand.
"Awww come on Riddle, don't go all soft now that your girlfriend is watching" Potter hisses.
Tom's jaws clenches as he balls his hands into fists.
"This is between me and you Harry, not y/n" he snaps back.

Harry scoffs and raises his wand and points it at you.
"CRUCIO!" He yells.
You gasp and bend down to dodge the curse, but it never even reaches you.

You hear a scream of agony and a thud. You look up to see Harry chuckling at Tom, who was hunched over on the ground and yelling in pain.
"Fuck. Off. Potter" you snip.
He whips his head down at you and chuckles.
"If you wish" he says, turning and walking towards the door.
"Avada Ked-" you begin, but are cut off by Tom.

"Y/n n-no. N-not now" he croaks through winces.
You nod and drop your wand, leaning down over him.

He let's out another scream in agony as you pull his head onto your lap.
"I know, I know I'm sorry baby. It will be over soon" you assure him.
He nods and let's out a shaky breath.

"Th-this is supposed t-to be the o-other way a-around" he teases through gritted teeth.

You giggle slightly and hug him softly.

"You need to stop getting yourself hurt" you plead.
He scoffs and chuckles lightly.
"What's the fun in that?" He teases.

The curse had eventually worn off.

Now, you guys were just sitting in the middle of the chamber of secrets with Tom's head in your lap.

He giggled lightly as you ran your fingers through his hair.

"I love you" he beams.
"I love you too"
