He was sitting atop a hill with you. He was shaking a bit and on the verge of tears. Byng had screamed at him and he didn't take it well. He was trying to not cry. You pulled him close to you and kissed him softly. "I-I always fuck it up..." He whimpered out. "You do not fuck up anything. You are a sweet man." You didn't let him go for a second. "Everyone thinks I'm a fuck up, y/n!!" He cried out. "I don't." You reassured.
"Im a slow ass fart of a soldier, why the hell do people just...." He sighed shakily. You knew he was about to cry. "Hun, its ok to be upset. But you need to know that its ok. Just because someone yells, its not forever. Nobody can stay mad for their life. Plus, byng is just an asshole." You kissed him on his nose. "Your his daughter/son though!! He never gets mad at you!" He cried out. You raised an eyebrow. "I know him well. And i know he seems grumpy, but it passes. And just know this." You held his hands softly. "I love you so much. Fuck what anyone says." You smiled at him and he kissed you passionately. He was your one true love.
