I'm getting so excited to see the girls, I'm kinda wishing I never did this parting thing. I mean I've had nothing but bad luck since. I'd probably be dead right now if Neil hadn't come along.

"Neil"

"Yeah, what is it Mel?"

"I just want to say thank you"

"For what, exactly" as he wraps his arms around my waist

"Well, for just being here"

He smiles, "my pleasure" he looks into my eyes "Mel, you've been amazing to me you know, last night was a perfect example"

I blush "I think we both kinda got just as much out of last night, don't ya think" I chuckle

"I guess you're right, but was still ...mmm"

"Neil, are you happy, I mean, with me? We don't talk about these things, but I just kinda wonder and...." I trail off looking around "I mean are you happy to go home with me, or just going along with it?"

"Mel" he looks at me " of course I am happy, if I didn't care at all, I wouldn't even give a shit if you got there, would I?"

"No, I guess you're right, I've just gotten this strange feeling lately that something is going to happen is all, it's probably nothing"

"Mel, just think, you'll be seeing your friends in just 48 hours, maybe it's just nerves from not seeing in a while, everything will be fine" he hugs me tight, kissing my head.

I guess I should get in touch with these fools, I'm not really telling them shit, but will message first, God forbid I don't want to put them into shock some more. Here goes, maybe they won't even want to see me.

To H: hi, sorry for the wait, not sure if we will be able to go on after everything happens I may not come out alive. You will still have your friends as before though, I just want to know even though I have no right to ask can you take my shit and drop it at Brens? I'll get today and were you going to try to stand with the others for backup
