Save Me

one hundred twenty eight

"Please.." I beg him. I know that it is no use. I take a deep breath and stand up straight. This is the end.

I am going to die.

He points his gun at me again and a shot rings out as I fall to the floor.

[Anthony's POV] 

"What is going on?" I say to one of the officers that is standing in the parking lot of the school. I drove over here as fast as I could, praying to God that she would still be alive when I arrived. 

"Sir, there has been a shooting." He says to me. 

"I know that, my uh.. My friend called me from inside the school, she's a student here." I explain to him. 

"You're Anthony Ramos!" He exclaims. "My daughter is obsessed with you." 

"That's lovely, so has anyone found out who the shooter is?" I say getting frustrated. Please be alive. 

"Yes, some kid named.. Ben. Ben Thompson, he's a senior." The officer says. 

"Oh my God.. That's her ex boyfriend." I mutter to myself. "You have to let me inside the building." 

"I'm sorry sir, I cannot let you inside. We have officers patrolling through the school now, that's all we can do." He says. 

"No, you don't understand!" I yell. "That is her ex boyfriend! He is going to shoot her, he is going to kill my best friend!" 

"Can I get some help here!" The officer yells as he holds me back. I slip out of his grip and take off on a sprint towards the building. I ignore the screams of people behind me telling me to stop. I don't care. I have to help her. I have to get her out of there. 

I run towards the doors and swing them open and enter the school. 

I walk through the halls quietly, listening for any voices. I see kids on the ground with blood surrounding them, all dead. How could this have happened? I almost throw up when I see Spencer laying in a corner. I wonder if Olivia has seen her yet. She is going to be devastated. 

I continue to walk through the halls until I hear a voice say, "Put the gun down, Ben. It doesn't have to end like this." It's Olivia. 

I peer around a corner and see her and Ben standing in the middle of a large hall, he has a gun pointed right at her. I almost scream her name but stop when I see an officer from across the hall hiding behind a corner with a gun looks at me and holds a finger to his mouth telling me to be quiet. I nod slowly and turn my attention back to Ben and Olivia. 

"I have to kill you! You don't get it, I have to do this."

"Please.." She weakly says. Her shoulders droop and she has tears streaming down her eyes. 

A shot rings out and I scream her name as loud as I can. 

I see Ben fall to the floor at the same that Olivia does. The officer shot him. 

I sprint to Olivia and hold her in my arms as she sobs loudly. 

She's alive. 

"I love you." I say to her. "I love you so much." 

Hello everyone, hope this made you fall in love with Anthony even more. I wish I had someone that would give up their life to protect me. Damn, that sounds amazing. I feel as if I would die for literally anyone but i feel like no one would die for me.. I don't know.
