one hundred thirteen

The nurse closes the door and she says to me, "Sir, I need you to leave the building."

I bite my lip and nod, fighting tears. She is never going to forgive me for this. She hates me, and now I hate me too.

[Lin's POV]

After getting the call that Olivia had a freak out with some man I rushed to the hospital to see what happened. 

"Olivia, what happened?" I ask, touching her cheek. 

"Nothing, I just had a disagreement with someone." She says, looking away. 

"Who?" I push. 

"It doesn't matter. He won't be contacting me anymore, he says that he is done with me." She tells me, tears threatening to fall from her eyes. 

"A boy from school?" I ask. 

"Uh.. Yeah, he told me that he liked me but then told me that he doesn't care about me at all." She tells me. Who would do that to her? Some asshole they must be. 

"He doesn't deserve you." I tell her. She smiles softly and looks away. He must really mean something to her. 

I look around the room and see her phone on the floor. 

"What did you do?" I ask with a laugh, reaching for the shattered phone. 

"I know, I'm so sorry Lin. He was texting me and I kind of freaked and threw it." she tells me.

"Don't worry about it, I'll get it fixed for you." I tell her. I click on the home button and surprisingly the screen still turns on. There is a notification from Anthony at the top. 

Anthony : I can't be there for you anymore. 

Why would Anthony say that? I thought that they were best friends. How could he just abandoned her like that especially at this time. I wonder if he knows about the boy she likes. I'm going to kill Anthony for saying that to her. How dare he hurt my daughter when she did nothing wrong. 

"I need to go take care of Seb, are you going to be okay?" I ask, trying to remember where Anthony lives. 

"Yeah, I'm just going to rest a little bit." She says. I kiss her head and walk out of the door. 

I rush to Anthony's apartment and knock roughly on the door. 

"Ramos!" I yell, "I know you are in there!" 

He opens the door and I immediately start yelling, "You ass! How could you betray her friendship like that? Olivia needs all the support she can get right now so how could you tell her that you can't be there for her? What did she do to you?" 

"Lin.." He says, running his fingers through his hair. "You don't understand.." 

"Oh I understand it. Because your friend is sick and helpless you can't stick around to help her through it. Looks like she is going to need to find a new best friend. You guys were really something, I was so happy that she found a friendship with you. I hope she forgives you." I say and walk away. 

[Anthony's POV]

Lin still doesn't know that we are in love with each other. I breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Olivia wont have to be questioned about that. Lin just thinks I'm her friend. Not anymore.
