Soulmate
"What a peculiar sentence." Erik mused, breaking their silence on the plane. Charles looked at him confused, following his gaze to his arm where it showed his soulmate's first sentence to him. Quickly, he pulled the sleeves of his button up shirt down to his wrists again.
They were on their way to Paris, in an attempt to stop Raven from killing Trask. Since the Cuba incident, and with Erik being in jail, Charles and Erik weren't on the best terms and so, were quiet on the private plane until Erik had spoken up.
"Have you tried to look for your soulmate?" Erik asked him curiously.
"Does it look like I have been trying to find her?" Charles deadpanned.
"No," Erik shook his head, "but you seem like the person to try and find their significant other."
"I don't have time to be with a soulmate."
"Right, drinking away your sorrows and losing your powers - let's not forget that the fact you look like a homeless person -"
"Shut up, Erik!" Charles snapped. "I didn't ask for those opinion about my life and my soulmate. For all I know, I might never meet her."
They went silent again. "You're right." Erik spoke up. "I mean, it's not everyday the first sentence your soulmate says to you is 'Why the fuck are you under there?'."
Charles revealed a small smile of amusement, chuckling lowly. "Very true." he agreed quietly.

Chaos was everywhere.

The sentinels came to life, Erik helping control them. And then there was Raven who was trying to kill Trask, and the president that wanted to remove all mutants.
Logan was thrown somewhere far away, Hank trying to stop Raven and avoid Erik and the sentinels. Charles was unfortunately on the ground underneath some metal construction from the parade, unable to help. You could say Charles was a bit pissed at the moment.
"Why the fuck are you under there?"
"Oh you know, just wanting to witness some live action in person." Charles replied sarcastically, unaware of the fact that he just met his soulmate. It wasn't until he heard a gasp did he think back to what happened just seconds before, staring up at the sky in disbelief. No way, he thought to himself. No fricking way. . .
"Wow, what a way to meet your soulmate, huh?" she joked weakly. Charles turned his head to the left, feeling the breath get knocked out of him briefly.

She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

Her raven dark hair in perfect waves down her back, her pale skin reflecting against the sun, and her brown doe eyes staring down at him with awe.
"Hi," she spoke up after a small silence between the two, "I'm Eleanor Parker. Ellie for short."
"Charles Xavier." he barely got out. "It is very nice to see you." It wasn't until a crash from a distance did reality snap back into his mind, his eyes widening in horror. "What are you doing here? You're going to get killed!" he exclaimed, looking around at the destruction panicked. "You need to leave. Now."
"Are you serious? I just met my soulmate. No way in hell am I leaving you." Ellie tried to get the large obstacles off him. "I. . .can't. . ."
"Ellie, you need to leave before you get harmed." Charles told her. "Please."
"I'm not leaving you here, Charles." Ellie said. "Hell, if you die I am dying with you."
"Charles!" Hank arrived, and tried to get Charles out from underneath the construction. "Charles, I can't find Raven -"
"Right, sorry." Charles went to business, searching through his mind for her. "While I am at it, please make sure Ellie is in no harm."
   "Ellie?"
"That's me." Hank jumped, only just realising someone was with them. "Uh, I'm Charles' soulmate."
"Really?" Hank stared at her surprised.
   "Yep. . ."
"Well, nice to meet you." Hank shook her hand quickly. "I'm a friend of Charles."
   "Nice to meet you too."
   "Raven." Charles whispered, finding her.
   "What's happening?" Ellie asked Hank.
"Um, I hope you don't hate mutants because you see, Charles can read minds and communicate through the minds. . ."
   "What!"

"Are you sure you want to stay here with me?"
   "Charles, I'm sure."
   "Sorry, it's just. . .I'm in a wheelchair. I can't do much for you."
Ellie stared down at Charles gently, placing her suitcase in the ground carefully before wrapping her arms around his neck. Charles followed closely, wrapping his arms around her waist.
They stood outside of the Xavier Mansion, Ellie having her suitcase with her because she was moving in with him and Hank. But Charles was a bit hesitant on letting her move in. She has dreams to achieve, and her being around him to help him was not one of those things.
"But you have things to accomplish in life -"
"So? I can still do them by your side."
   "But -"
"Charles," she cupped his face in her hands gently, making sure she held eye contact with him. "I'm not leaving you. Ever. I know a lot of people have left your side, but I won't. Even Hank won't. I'm not going to leave your side because I love you, Charles. I love you."
"I love you too." Charles whispered, touched by her speech. "Well. . .welcome home, Ellie."
