You were sitting in Percy's cabin.
Since he was the only occupant, it was easiest for your group to hang out.
It was you, Percy, Nico, Annabeth, and Grover.
You were all listening to music from your IPod that you had smuggled into camp along with your portable radio.
Nico had snuck out of camp to get the alcohol and snacks.
The kids was good.
It was a real party now.
You laughed as Grover took Nico's empty beer can and ate it, the bottle in your own hand being snatched and finished by Percy.
You swatted his arm, and leaned over his lap to get another bottle.
"I could get used to having you like that," he said, low enough so only you could hear.
You blushed and punched his arm, returning to your position and opening your bottle.
Annabeth started to softly sing along to "Creep" by Radiohead as it started to play.
Grover hear her, and started to sing around loudly, his voice cracking often.
You soon joined in, and Nico was quick to follow.
You watched Percy just gaze at the faces of his friends rather than sing along.
You felt his gaze fix on you, before moving on to Annabeth and remaining there.

You knew of Percy's feelings for Annabeth.
He didn't know of your feelings for him.
You didn't know how to tell him.
The way he looked at Annabeth, talked to her, it all discouraged you.
You had stopped singing without realizing it.
The change of song is what startled you out of your thoughts.
Percy grabbed your hand, gaining your attention.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"Fine," you said, forcing a smile.
He nodded at you, releasing his grip.
Nico waved you over and you moved across the circle to his side.
"Tell him how you feel," he whispered in your ear.
"No way," you whispered back.
"Why not?" he asked.
"Because I can't," you rolled your eyes.
"The truth will come out sometime," he warned.
"Okay," you scoffed.
You went back to drinking your bottle.

You had decided a game of tag in the forest of the camp would be smart.
You were running from Annabeth, who was currently it.
She tripped you up, tagging you as you tried to catch your balance.
You laughed as you had no trouble passing off the title of "It" to Grover.
He gave an annoyed bleet as he ran after one of the other boys.
You had to admit you were having a lot of fun just acting as childish as you all possibly could.

Grover had bumped into some of the sprites while chasing Nico.
Now, you were all running back to Percy's cabin before they got you.
There, you could lay low until they retreated back to the forest.
Then, you could continue your game.
You were out of breath as you all made it to safety.
As you heaved, trying to catch your breath, you all broke out laughing.
Your sides hurt from the giggle escaping your throat.
Annabeth was wiping away tears from laughing so hard.
Grover was on the floor, laughing.
Nico was chuckling a little himself, but trying to cover it up with coughing, which gave him a case of the hiccups.
Percy bumped your shoulder with his, playfully smiling at you before sticking his tongue out at you.
You playfully rolled your eyes before pinching his cheek and going to keep watch at the window.

As soon as the sprites cleared, you wasted no time in rushing back out to the forest.
Grover caught Nico by hiding behind a tree and waiting for Nico to come to him.
He felt very accomplished.
Nico was going for Percy and you wanted to watch.
You had to give Percy credit, he was very adamant about not being "it."
He even flung himself up a tree to get away from Nico.
But, Nico eventually caught him after he fell out of said tree.
Your eyes widened as you saw Percy spot you.
You were his target, you could see it in his villainous smirk.
You turned and bolted off.
You heard his footsteps behind you.
He was easily gaining on you.
When he caught you, he tickled you, forcing you to fall back into his arms.
"You're it," He snickered as you tried to escape his tickle torture, but couldn't due to your violent laughter.
He stopped his assault once you had given up.
He looked down at you, and you looked up at him, trying to gain your breath back.
"Fuck it," he muttered.
He captured your lips with his, cupping your face.
You kissed him back gently.
When you pulled away, you were both blushing.
Your friends began to clap, coming out of the shadows to blatantly embarrass the two of you.
You heard Chiron's voice cry out, calling for whoever was in the forest to reveal themselves.
You all looked at each other, and Percy intertwined your hands, curling his fingers through yours.
You looked at each other.
"Here's to never growing up," you spoke.
You all took off running, trying to make it back to Percy's cabin before you were caught.
