You were curled up in the corner of your apartment.
You were trying to stop whatever it was you were doing.
Ever since the particle accelerator had exploded, you had been different.
Every little emotion you felt made the ground tremble around you.
You took up yoga, practiced zen, and even avoided all human contact.
It had helped you to control it at first.
But as time passed, the more your power grew.
Now, you were causing an earthquake in Central City.
You were crying.
You scared yourself.
You didn't understand what was happening.
The famous Flash appeared in front of you.
"You need to stop this," he demanded.
Even he thought you were a monster.
"I can't," you sobbed, "I'm trying but I can't."
Understanding crossed his face.
He picked you up and carried you away.
You were suddenly inside a lab.
You felt scared, causing the tremors to worsen.
The Flash explained the problem, and the two occupants stared at you.
"We have no time to think of a plan!" the guy with long hair stated.
"Sedate me," you blurted out.
The woman stared at you as if you were crazy.
"I can't control it, and it's getting worse. I don't want to hurt anyone. So sedate me!" you rushed.
The woman wasted no time in sticking that needle in your arm.
You faded pretty quickly.
When you woke up, the guy from before was watching you from a chair.
"I'm sorry," were the first words out of your mouth.
He smiled at you.
"Hey, you did nothing wrong. It's not your fault," he said.
"Was anyone hurt?" you asked, sitting up.
"A couple of people with bruises," he admitted, "But that's it."
You felt slight comfort, but mostly guilt.
"Do you want to tell me how it all started?" He asked.
"I was attending the reveal of the Particle Accelerator when it exploded. I got hit by something the doctors said. I was out for almost a month," you recalled.
"We did this to you. I'm so sorry," he apologized.
"It's not your fault," you repeated, putting a comforting hand on his.
"I'm Cisco," he blurted out, blushing.
You laughed a little.
"I'm Y/N," you said.
"I made you something," he said, standing and leaving the room.
Why had he made you anything?
You were no one.
You were a freak.
Cisco returned, holding a pair of gloves.
He handed them to you.
You looked at them, confused.
"Put them on. They help you control the vibrations," he explained.
You quickly put them on.
"Now, focus on shaking the chair," he instructed.
You stared at it, willing for it to tremble.
After a few seconds, it did.
You kissed Cisco on the cheek in excitement.
Cisco blushed deeply.
"Geez, buy a guy coffee first," he joked.
You beamed.
"Sure. What day is good for you?" you asked.
"What? Wait? Seriously?" he asked.
You nodded.
"Now works," he told you excitedly.
You smiled as you looked down at yourself.
"I don't think i'm good to go now," you sighed.
You were a mess.
"Tomorrow?" Cisco asked, hope in his eyes.
You couldn't help but agree.
"Tomorrow."
