You squeezed your boyfriend, Oliver Queen's, hand.
You were standing in front of the TARDIS.
You had felt so excited to see your parents again.
Now, you felt like you were having trouble breathing.
Oliver massaged the back of your hand and rubbed your back.
"Do you want to hold off?" he asked you.
You shook your head.
"It's not right. Let's just get this over with," you said.
Oliver kissed the side of your head.
You reached into your pocket and pulled out your TARDIS key.
You placed it in the lock and opened the TARDIS door.
You watched as your mother and father, The Doctor and River Song, stared at you in awe.
"I'm home," you said, biting your lip.
Your parents remained frozen in place.
You took this as your cue to step inside, Oliver following behind.
Oliver closed the TARDIS door behind him.
Your mom trapped you in a hug, squeezing you so hard, you felt as if you couldn't breath.
"You're alive. Oh my God, you're actually alive. You came back to us," she whispered in your ear.
This broke you.
You began to sob in her arms.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," you cried.
Your mother let you go.
Your father scooped you up in his arms before collapsing to the ground in tears.
"I thought I lost you forever," he cried into your hair.
Your mother hugged Oliver, too.
This took him by surprise, leaving him unsure of what to do.
After a moment or two, he hugged her back.
"I'm glad you're okay too, Oliver. I'm so happy you both found your way home," your mother spoke.
You stood and helped your father to his feet.
He clapped Oliver on the back.
"We thought you were both blown up. We heard that your bodies were found in an old building owned by Oliver's father," the Doctor told you.
You winced.
"We... faked our deaths," you explained.
"You did what?" your mother seethed.
"It was my fault. An old enemy of mind, Ra's Al Ghul returned to Starling City. The only way to keep Y/N safe was to get her out. But Al Ghul knows my true identity, so if I had just left the city, it would have rang all the alarms. It was the only way," Oliver explained.
"And you didn't think to tell us?" your mother whined.
"It was my choice not to," you admitted, "We told no one."
Your parents were silent.
"It's what I would do," River spoke up.
"It's what I would do, too," The Doctor sighed.
He angrily began to hit buttons on the console.
"Dad, what are you doing?" you asked.
"Going to get my hands on this Al Ghul guy and throw him into the sun," he answered.
Your mother stopped his hands.
"Let's just celebrate that our daughter and her boyfriend are alive and well, and home," she said.
Your father sighed and nodded.
"Why don't you two get cleaned up?" your mother smiled at you.
You nodded and took Oliver's hand, leading him to your bedroom.
Once you had left, River turned to the Doctor, fury on her face.
"We'll get that Al Ghul and make him suffer once they're asleep."
