You were a new demigod Grover had brought to camp.
You were the child of (Your Godly Parent).
You were shy and secluded.
Grover had taken you under his wing as less of a charge and more of a protective older brother.
Today, he wanted to take you to meet his best friend, Percy.
Apparently, Percy needed some cheering up after his 3 month ago break up from his long time girlfriend.
You were walking with Grover when he told a cheesy joke.
You just wrinkled your nose at it.
"That bad?" he asked.
You nodded.
"Pretty bad," you said.
He shrugged.
You felt sand underneath your shoes and looked around at a beach.
You removed your shoes and smiled.
"You like the beach?" a boy asked, approaching.
He had the most beautiful eyes.
"I love the beach," you said.
His eyes twinkled and he held out his hand.
"Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon," he introduced.
"Y/N Y/L/N, child of (Godly Parent)," you said, shaking his hand.
"Hey, Grover," he said, hugging Grover.
"Hey, Percy," he said, hugging back.
"So what's the plan for today?" you asked.
Percy smirked.
"Ever been surfing?" he asked.
"Only once. I wasn't very good," you admitted.
He wrapped an arm around your shoulders, guiding you to the water.
"Well, I'm going to be controlling the waves we ride on. I promise I won't let you fall," he said.
"Yeah, he loses concentration pretty fast," Grover said, "Hope you can swim."
You chuckled.
"I can swim," you said.
Percy stood next to you on the water with Grover on the other side.
You felt the water lift you up and soon enough you were moving quickly throughout the ocean.
You laughed as the wind whipped around you.
You noticed when Percy raised you up high.
You looked down at him.
"Don't," you warned.
He let you drop into the water, before picking you back up to normal level.
You were drenched.
You glared as Percy and Grover laughed.
"That's okay," you said, "Wait until I use my powers on you."
You found yourself moving closer to Percy, until you crashed into him.
He balanced you in front of him.
You looked at him, curious.
He kissed you softly.
"As long as I get to see you," he smiled.
You blushed and smiled back.
You both heard something hit the water and then a curse.
You both looked to see Grover swimming in the water.
"Dammit, Percy!"
