This IS an update but aye, Public MF Service Announcement❗️: Y'all not obligated to read and I'm not saying y'all are nor am I going to beg any to continue. With that being said, the comment section is indeed for commenting for how you feel during the story BUT what y'all not about to do is tell me what I shouldn't have done, what I should've done, that I should REDO a chapter because y'all or YOU don't like it. Majority of my ideas are pre thought out and some chapters are started on so I know what I'm doing, sis. I read every comment and I typically reply to most to interact w/ my readers. I'm not even tryna be hood but on bro I'll go there with who ever feel the need to say some that shouldn't be said when directing it to me. If you feel some type of way keep it to yourself, IT'S OKAY to not like something but once again— keep it to yourself if it's going to be directed towards ME , cause it'll be that. And, you free to stop reading if anyone feel's any type of way about something in a story. I don't expect everyone to like it.. but all books not gone go how YOU want em to. I fell asleep, but I woke up and then I really woke up. I was dreaming! I hopped up from the hospital chair. Rose, George, Royalty and Lauren stared at me like I had lost my entire mind.
"Where's India? How long have I been here?" I asked
"Well, India is still undergoing procedures. You been here for a good two hours." Rose said
"You came here high and fell into one of those weed comas." George said
"So, the baby, what happened?" I asked
"We don't know too much of anything yet, we just know India is undergoing some procedures right now." Rose said
"So India was really hit by a car?" I asked
"Yeah, and she went into early labor immediately." Rose said
"So the baby didn't die?" I asked
Rose sat up, "What?! No! Not that I know of! Why would you say that?"
"Please excuse my weird questions, but I just had the craziest most realistic dream I could ever have. I think it was a sign somewhere in it." I said
"I'll be back... I'm going to get some water." I added and walked off
Everything felt so real. And a few key points were real.
Sabrina does drive a black SUV and she has been texting me and threatening India and trying to pop up.
I got a water bottle from the vending machine, them damn things were $2.00 a bottle but I was thirsty, I took down the entire thing while standing there.
Unknown: how's the baby? 🥴

Bitch I'll have my girl get off that hospital bed right now just to come beat yo ass keep thinkin it's a game, imma slide on you when you least expect it and I want you to be this crazy. Stop playin on my phone.

I blocked the number and went back into the waiting area.
"So, do any of y'all know how this happened?" I asked
"Royalty seen everything. India came by to get her wallet. Royalty said she dropped it and she ran back to get it, India turned around in the middle of the street and a car hit her." Lauren explained
"Yeah, we were in the house but we heard Lauren and Royalty outside." Rose said
"What color was the car, Royalty?" I asked
"Black, and it was going really fast." She said
Wow. Dreams can be some decent ass wake up calls.
"Family of India Varma." A Doctor said
Everybody jumped up, especially me.
"What's the word, bro?" I asked
"Excuse me?" The doctor asked
Rose nudged my arm, "How is she? How is the baby?" She asked
"India is asleep, still. She suffered from a mild concussion but she's fine. We had to give her an immediate C-section because if we would've allowed her to wait until she turned another month, the baby wouldn't have made it. The impact of the car sent her into labor as soon as she got hit. But, safe to say you all have a safe baby girl waiting on you. Should we wait until the mother wakes to name her?" The doctor asked
"Yes, please." Rose said
"When can we see the baby??" I asked
"Well, you're the father— I'm assuming, so you can go first. The rest can follow after." The doctor said
I walked alongside him. I couldn't wait to see our babygirl.
The doctor told me some sanitary procedures I needed to do before I held her. I followed his instructions then waited for him to pass her to me.
"I thought she was going to be premature because she wasn't carried to full term— but she's a healthy weight. You have a beautiful babygirl, congratulations." The doctor said as he laid her in my arms
I couldn't stop smiling, I damn near wanted to cry. It felt how it did when I first saw Royalty.
She was asleep in my arms, but it was the best feeling. I searched her face to see who she looked like but I couldn't tell by her features just yet.
She was so lightweight and small, I could stand here forever.
I rubbed her cheeks and spoke a few words to her.
"Yo' mama gone name you a foreign ass name like a Jeep or some shit, but I wanna name you something simple like... Treasure. Too simple though, right?"
I brushed my hand across her cheeks once again.
"We're going to move her in there with the mother now that we got all of her measurements written down. We're going to put her into this bed as we walk down the hall and you can follow behind us, and you can finish your time in there." The doctor said to me
"Okay, cool." I said
I let him place her into the bed and followed him down the hall.
When we walked into the room India was still asleep. My baby, she still looked beautiful. I'm so happy she's okay, and that my dream wasn't real because she was so hurt. I felt the pain for her.
They laid the baby's bed in a far corner and I went over to it and finished holding her. I could do this all day.
Shortly after, Rose and George came in, then when they left in came Lauren, Royalty came in last.
"Look, baby.." I said to her as I kneeled down so she could see her.
She gasped, "She looks like me!" She smiled
"So that means she look like me then." I chuckled
"No, she just looks like me." Royalty said
I laughed, then I heard an extra laugh, I looked over and it was India.
"I'm so happy you're okay, mommy. You made me really sad!" Royalty ran over to her and said
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." She said and kissed her cheek.
"Hey, love. I couldn't wait until you woke up." I said
"You ready to hold her?" I asked
"Damn right." She smiled and sat herself up
The doctor walked in just in time.
"Be careful to not bump your stitches, it may hurt." He said
"Where are the stitches at?" I asked
"Her lower stomach."
"And that's called a—"
"C-section. I thought you knew because you didn't question the term earlier." He said
I didn't know that's what it was though, that's what she had in my dream.
The doctor laid the baby on India's chest.
"She has no reason to be this beautiful!" She smiled
"I named her." I joked
"Really? What did you name her?" She asked, though she seemed a bit disappointed.
"Toronto." I smiled
"Chris... why would you—"
"I'm playing." I said and kissed her forehead.
I sat in a chair and watched as India and Royalty interacted with the baby and talked to each other.
It was perfect.
"Did you come up with a name yet?" The doctor asked
India smiled, then looked to me, then looked at her, "Ai'marie Sincere Brown."
"Do you like it?" She asked me
"I love it." I smiled
"Ai'marie it is" the doctor nodded
"Write out the spelling here on this line." The doctor instructed her
"Here's the birth certificate, dad, ready to sign it?" The doctor asked
"Hell yeah!" I said
I signed where I was instructed to and India signed as well.
Everyone eventually came in and we brightened the mood even more by laughing and talking.
"Chris, you came in here high as hell." George laughed
"Hell yeah, I end up smoking right when I got my blunts. I wouldn't have even got high had I knew this was gon' happen, I'm surprised I'm not still high because these were one of the moments I needed to be awake the most." I said
"Yeah, you slept most of it off within those two hours. You was in a deep sleep, we told you India got in an accident and you was worried but you worried yo' self to sleep." He chuckled
"Y'all, I'm starving. I been sitting in that waiting room worried and I done worried myself into hunger— anybody hungry?" Lauren asked
"Starving actually." Rose said
"Yes!" Royalty said
"I want a uh— gimme like a chicken sandwich, wait where you goin'?" George asked
"I'm hungry as well." India said
I didn't speak up because I can get my own food, but plus I didn't have an appetite.
Lauren looked astounded, "I mean I thought maybe Royalty and Indi was just gone say some but since the rest of y'all hungry we might as well all go get something as a group, give Chris and Indi some alone time." Lauren said
"Yeah, you're right." Rose said
"Come on, Ro." Lauren said and took her hand
They walked out and the baby was asleep on India's chest.
"I been waiting to get to you." I said to her
She smiled, "Yeah, I couldn't wait to see you! I had a crazy ass dream, I thought you went to jail and when I woke up I was so relieved." She said
My eyes got big, "Are you serious?!"
"Yeah, is something wrong with that?" She asked
"Yeah, I mean— no! It's just crazy because I had a dream similar."
"That's crazy, when?"
"Today, I fell asleep in the chair while I was waiting on the doc."
"And for some reason I feel like Sabrina did this. Like, I didn't see the car or anything because it hit me in the opposite direction, but in the dream I seen her face and her car, you know, the one she always has." She said
"The black SUV, right?"
"Right."
"This is some supernatural crazy shit, I had the exact same dream." I said
"That's a sign, especially since we both had the dream. I think she may be the one that did it..."
"I know she was." I said
"How are you so certain?" She asked
"She been textin' me from different numbers, stalkin' me, threatening you." I said
India raised her eyebrows, "And when were you gonna tell me this?"
"I mean I didn't wanna stress you while you were pregnant, plus I thought she was just all talk."
"I know Sabrina isn't all talk and I barely know her, so how did you think she was?" She asked
I shrugged, "I don't know..I just did. I thought she just really wanted to get to me. She even texted me today from an unknown number."
"Saying?"
"How's the baby, but knowing her she wasn't literally inquiring about the baby. It meant so much more... wait until Lauren get ahold of her."
"Lauren? You keep forgetting I'm not pregnant anymore and I've been waiting to get to her for a while." She said
I don't like goin off and ranting, but I'm not gone stay silent either.. so excuse me.
