"She's renting it out for now but she's working on buying it." I explained to Chris as we sipped on the glass of wine, just to "celebrate."
"That's my baby, you definitely know yo shit. Did you exaggerate like I told you?" Chris smiled
"A little but I did lie." I laughed
"I wasn't aware of the holes in the fence in the backyard so when the guy asked me I had to think of a quick, yet believable lie. I told him the workers haven't finished the backyard yet and that the original repair man had gotten an injury and we're in the midst of hiring someone new that's going to fix it before anyone moves in." I explained
Chris thought for a second, "See, coming from a guy that's a human lie detector himself— I would've been able to tell that you were lying. It's too many details. Less details as possible when you lying, so it doesn't sound like a story that was made up. But, you did good baby." He smiled
"I'm a horrible liar, Chris. I'm sure you know that by now. I can't lie to save my life, I felt like I was a complete genius when I told him that and he bought it. I was so caught off guard— I knew everything about the house but that." I said
"Yeah you did alright." He teased
"She seemed like a nice lady though, I know she's really hoping her family likes it— which I think they will because I like it."
"You do?" He smiled
"Yeah, it's gorgeous."
"Maybe we should get a house together, whenever you ready, just maybe." He said
I looked at him to see was he serious, "Is it the wine and weed talking or..."
"No, I'm dead ass serious, India." He said and looked me in my face
"O-Okay. I'll think about it." I said
"Shit, you over here everyday you might as well." He added
I nodded. I'm not ready for that step yet but it is up for consideration.
"Don't you have to meet with the client in a few days to process the payment, and all the other shit?" He asked
"Yeah." I sighed
"She already paid her down payment to secure her spot, she's really serious about this place."
"Aw okay." He nodded
"I'm sleepy, babe. So I'm about to go ahead and go to sleep." I said and took down the rest of my wine so I could lay down. I seen chris staring at me from my peripheral vision.
"Can I help you?" I smiled
"You gave head before?" He asked
I laughed, "Where'd that come from?"
"You took down that wine like you took down other shit before, have you?"
"... maybe once or twice, that's it." I said and got under the comforter.
"Ima have to see what that mouf do one day then."
I playfully rolled my eyes as he laid down. Yeah right.
The next day we all ate breakfast before I had to go.
And a few days later I was getting ready to go officialize things with this client.
I'm so happy she's getting it!
My check is going to be so lovely with this bonus.
"Sign here and we'll be set. You are aware that the lease is up to a 1 year and after you'll have to resign it?" I asked
"Oh, yeah. We'll be staying here for over a year though, so I'll just have to keep renewing my lease." Sabrina shrugged
"If you don't mind me asking, you have any children of your own?" She asked
I thought for a second, I don't have any but I consider Royalty as mine.
"Yeah, 1 daughter."
She raised her eyebrows, "Oh, you don't even look like you have any." She replied
"Yeah, well she's not mine, she's my boyfriends, I just consider her as mine." I said
She looked like she seen a ghost, "Oh...well, do you live with your boyfriend?" She asked
What's with the questions.
"I'm sorry, Sabrina, but how is this relevant?" I asked and frowned a bit.
"Right, back to business.." she chuckled and proceeded to signing the papers.

Royalty is sleep, thank god. She been fucking this house up since she got up.
I'm off today, luckily.
But any-who, my mom told me Sabrina has been trying to get in contact with me— that shit took me by surprise, what the hell does she want?! We haven't talked in 2 and a half a years. Wait, or has it been three? Well it'll make 3 at the end of next month.
Anyway, my moms goofy ass gave her my number and she been texting me since.
Asking to see me, asking how Royalty has been, asking is my address still the same, shit like that.
I ain't been replying, we don't have shit to talk about. She lost those privileges 3 years ago. I understand Royalty is her daughter but that'll just confuse the hell out of Royalty. I wouldn't introduce Sabrina as Royalty's mother but knowing Sabrina's stupid ass, she would tell Royalty that she's her mother when Royalty already looks at India as hers.
Either way it goes, I don't wanna see Sabrina and I don't want Royalty to...

All papers are signed, now all Sabrina has to do is move in. She'll only keep in touch with me if she has inquiries about the house or things of such. I'm so happy my first open house/house selling what ever went well.
Now I'm on my way back to my house to take a shower and change clothes. I've been ripping and running all today.
When I opened the door, It was silent but I know Lauren is here because her car is outside.
I took my shoes off at the door and went upstairs. When I told you I heard moans that were so loud, I was damn near about to bust in this girl's room and tell her to shut the hell up.

"Eww" I said aloud as I walked into my room and closed the door.
I undressed, pulled my hair in a high bun and grabbed my robe.
Shower time.
After I showered I hurried in my room before anyone came out, although I didn't hear anything anymore.
I dressed in my fuzzy pajamas and turned on Netflix then went downstairs to grab me a glass of wine. I'm about to Netflix and chill with myself tonight before I get sleepy.
I grabbed my glass of wine, some chips and headed into my room, closing the door behind me.
I searched, I think I wanna relook at 8 Mile, I love that movie. I've seen it once but I can't recall every detail so I wanna look at it again.
In the middle of the movie, Lauren busted in my room.
"Ohhh, so bitches couldn't speak or tell me they was home huh?" She said
I paused the movie with a smile on my face.
"Annnd, you having a lil movie night with wine without me." She added
"First of all, hoe..." I laughed
"You was too busy having a nigga in your guts to even know I was here. I couldn't even come in and speak." I said
She bulged her eyes, "You heard me?"
"You were loud enough for the people in Tallahassee to hear you, so who was it?"
She looked up and rolled her eyes... "Dre." She mumbled
"I'm sorry?"
"Dre girl, Dre!"
"This soon?" I asked
"There's nothing wrong with fucking after a few weeks. There's no rule saying you can't." She said and stuck her tongue out.
"So what are you watching?" She said and looked at the screen
"8 Mile, I been wanting to rewatch this.. keep it paused, I'm about to take a shower and join you." She winked and ran out.
I smiled and waited.
Chris: come over tomorrow. I'm making breakfast 😋

Lauren joined me shortly after she was done showering and we actually stayed up the entire movie.
"So, Chris wants me to get a house with him."
"I don't want you to leave meeee...." she said and threw her arms around me.
"I'm not, I'm not ready yet." I said
"On a serious note, why not?"
I shrugged, "Moving in with your boyfriend or girlfriend is a big step to take. You start to notice more problems, and space is key. I know we'll get our own space when he has to work or I have to do whatever, but I'm just not quite ready yet. Then, what if we're like in a rocky part of our relationship, space is what we need. I need to be in my own place and he needs to be in his." I paused
"I'm also the type of person that needs a few days to think or a day the least. I don't wanna be in the same house with him or what not because that'll make it hard for me to have time to myself, then there's going to be tension in the air. Like, that time he told me what his mom said, I didn't want him here and I needed time to myself— technically 2, almost 3 months." I said
"I understand, but as long as he isn't rushing you.. move on your time." She said and pulled the comforter back
"What are you doing?" I asked
"I'm sleeping in here tonight, I know you don't think I'm going to get all the way up just to go in my room." She laughed and laid down.
"You gotta change your sheets, don't you?"
"Yeah." She said and we both fell out laughing.
Luckily I have a full sized bed.
"Goodnight best friend." She said and made kissy noises
"Goodnight ugly." I said and got under the comforter with her.

Next morning at Chris's house
He made Cinnamon Rolls, Eggs, Rice, and Bacon.
[Yes, rice is a breakfast food for many ppl! Its not unheard of or something the aliens invented ... And if it isn't something you do/eat, oh well 🤷🏽♀️ to each his own]
It was delicious. I love when he cooks since he rarely does.
"Okay, sugar foot— I have to run a few errands." I said after I sat around for 30 extra minutes.
"Mommy don't forget to come back." Royalty said
"I promise I will baby." I said and kissed her forehead
Chris gave me a kiss on the forehead while I put my jacket on.
"Yeah, bring yo ass back." He said
"Shut up." I said and left out

After India left and I cleaned up the kitchen, I got Royalty ready so she could go with her grandma.
When Royalty left I was left at home by myself, which was fine. Think I might go smoke and chill with the guys.
I took a shower and got dressed.
Time to head out.
I grabbed my keys, and while doing that I heard a knock on the door.
"I know damn well this ain't India." I mumbled while walking to the door. Not that it's an issue but I know she literally just left, and she would've texted or called me when she was heading back.
I could rarely believe my eyes when I opened the door.
"Surprise!" She said
"The fuck you want, Sabrina?"
