DORA'S POV
I was looking at the carpet as if it is the most fascinating thing in the world.
I could feel Isaac's stare, he was waiting for me to explain.
If he comes to know what happened, definitely hell will break loose.
Isaac cleared his throat.
It was a warning to start explaining.
I slowly looked up at his curious eyes.
Dammit Dora, speak before he looses his temper.
"I went to race after a week you left to Cali..." He cut me off.
"You did what? " He yelled at the top of his lungs. Way to go dora, the first sentence brought him to the edge of his sanity, which he will definitely loose soon.
"I..I..wa..was bored Isaac" I stammered out.
He looked at me in disbelief.
"You could have called Kevin keziah or me" He said trying to be calm. I know, he is anything but calm.
"I don't want to disturb you guys" I said.
He closed his eyes, inhaled and exhaled.
He nodded me to continue.
"There I saw my competitor after winning, he hugged me suddenly and I got a panic atta... " He cut me off by slamming his hands in the coffee table which shattered into pieces.
Oh no, the beast has been released.
"Continue" he said coldly.
"He took me to a nearby hospital and came to know about my health issues, after bringing me back he said we could meet for lunch sometimes.But I refused. He was sent flowers, chocolates, I finally gave in. But I thought something was wrong. So I informed Kev..." He again cut me off
"How in the world did Kevin agree for it? " He asked.
"I kinda convinced him" I said. Now Kevin is also in deep trouble.
He nodded.
"There when I went to wash room, he came and tried to force me, but before anything Kevin and his bodyguards barged in and rescued me. And it took almost 3 months for me to come back from it" I finished.
I looked up at the shattering sounds.
He was breaking everything in the room.
"Why the hell did no one inform me?" He screamed.
"I pleaded Kevin and Keziah not to tell you, I thought it would bring great loss for California branch if you come back to see me". I mumbled.
He knelt down before me, lifted my chin.
"Amour, Nothing in the world is more important than you. I don't give a fuck if I loose the California branch completely. Hell, even if I loose my whole wealth if you are safe and secure with me then I don't give a shit to other things" He said and caressed my cheek with his knuckles.
Tears started rolling down my cheeks, I hugged him tightly and apologized him.
"Its OK amour as long as your safe" he sighed and hugged me back.
He lifted me up while I wrapped my legs around his waist.
He took me to my room placed me on the bed.
He later on the other side of the bed and pulled the covered over us.
He wrapped his arms around me.
"Sleep well amour" Isaac said.
"Good night izz" I said.
He laughed.
I fell asleep almost immediately realizing I am safe back in his arms.
I woke up by amazing smell of pancakes.
I went to the bathroom finished my business and almost ran to the kitchen. Sniffing like a dog...no scratch that sniffing like a tigress.
There stood Isaac placing the breakfast in the dining table.
He looked up and smiled. I thank the heaven for locking up the beast that was released yesterday.
I smiled and started eating.
He shook his head and laughed.
I raised an eyebrow.
"Very lady like Ms.Jonathan" He said.
I glared at him.
He just shrugged and started eating.
After few minutes, He cleared his throat. I know something is up.
"I told the pilot to get ready to go to California tomorrow" He said.
My face fell immediately. So he is not staying back here.
He must have noticed my reaction.
"What happened amour? " he asked with concern. I don't want him to stop his work and stay here just for me.
"Nothing Isaac" I said and smiled. A fake one.
He sighed.
"Amour, I know you very well more than you know yourself, so tell me what's bothering you?" he asked. I know I can't hide anything from him.
"I thought you won't go back or atleast stay for a week" I said sadly.
Suddenly he started laughing. Did I joke?
" What?" I snapped.
"Did you really think that I'll leave you here and go back after what happened?" he asked.
I scrunched my nose in confusion.
"Tsk Tsk Tsk, you are coming with me to California Amour" He said calmly.
My eyes widened in realization.
"But..." He cut me off
"No you are coming,end of discussion"
He said coldly.
I sighed and hummed.
After few minutes,
"Get ready amour, we are going out to celebrate your birthday" he said.
I jumped from the kitchen stool and ran to my room to get ready.
I heard him laugh.
After 5 minutes, I came back to Isaac who was waiting at the door.
He looked up at me in amusement.
"What?" I asked.
"Probably the only girl in the world who got ready in five minutes" He said.
I shrugged and started walking.
After few steps I stopped and turned back to him.
He raised his eyebrow.
"I am not a girl, I am a woman" I said stomping my foot.
"Yeah Yeah I could see it" he said rolling his eyes.
I took his arms and dragged him out.
He just followed me laughing.
I went near Audi R8. Isaac's favorite car which I reshaped during the race.
Then I smiled sheepishly at him.
He looked at the car and then me.
"Sorry, it happened during the race" I said and scratching my head.
He came near me and held my face.
"Amour, as long as you are safe I don't have any problem, hell even if you burn down all my cars I don't give a shit" Isaac said.
I smiled and went inside the car.
We both enjoyed my birthday.
