You looked at the letter that you held in your hands. It was addressed to your crush, Pit.
"I- I can't do it!" You said to yourself, your face a blushing mess as you put the envelope to your face.
"I can't even think when I'm around him either.." You tried to calm yourself down, but your heart was still pounding.
"eEEEEH!" You squealed, throwing yourself onto your bed and kicking your legs up and down, "W- Why.. Why must I have a crush..?"
You heard a knock on your door, and then someone open it. "(Y/N)~"
You jumped, shoving the letter into the side your bra.
"(Y/N), what's that?" Pit asked, looking at your side, noticing the letter almost immediately.
"O- Oh.. This..?" You reached your hand down your shirt and grabbed the letter, showing him the side of the letter that didn't have his name on it. "It's.. A letter to my crush.." You looked down, a blushing mess.
"Crush!?" Pit smiled brightly, his blue orbs sparkling, "Who is it, Who is it?" He asked eagerly.
"I- I can't tell you.. But hey, Pit.. Can you help me with my shyness..? It's really hard to do anything with it.." You frowned, looking to the side.
"Sure!" He nodded, a bright smile on his face as he sat down next to you on your bed, your heart pounding against your chest as you looked at the male smile brightly.
(That would literally be me if I ever met Pit tbh

"U- Uh- I- I.." You began, your eyes looking from him, down to the floor, and back and forth.
You tightened the grip on your letter before closing your eyes tightly and standing up, placing it onto your desk, Pit's name faced down.
"N- Never mind.." You shook your head, looking down at the cream colored envelope. "How.. H- How would someone act around their crush?"
"Act like yourself. Don't be to flirty, or clingy. I'm sure with who they are, then it would depend on what they would think of you being clingy or flirty." He explained, "But- If you don't act like yourself in front of your crush, then they wouldn't get actual knowledge of what you're like.. And might fall in love with something you're not. And that's not really a good thing."
You nodded slowly, "Thanks.."
You sighed, trying to think of a good way to tell him your feelings.
You were about to talk when you were suddenly interrupted by someone throwing open the door.
"Pit!"
It was Roy, his loud and obnoxious voice made both you and him jump.
"Did you forget that you were fighting Marth, R.O.B , and Fox today? We need you ASAP!" Roy told Pit, his hair all over the place and defying gravity.
"R- Right!" Pit nodded, jumping up from where he was sitting and dashing out the door, leaving you alone without saying anything.
You couldn't tell him..
Your (E/C) eyes shifted over to the envelope,picking it up with your shaking hands and opening it to read the letter once again.
Dear Pit,
I'd really like to tell you this in person, I really do.. But I can't. I get all fidgety and can't think when I'm around you. Just looking at you from afar makes me melt to pieces. I really admire you, if you can't tell already >///<''
It's really nice, your laugh, smile, your overall look in general. It's great how you lighten the mood and try to make even serious things a bit better with jokes and everything..

You buried your face into the letter, continuing to shake as you gathered up the courage to tell him.
Taking a few deep breaths, you walked over to the coliseum, watching from the entry place the battle from the entryway.
It was a stock battle, and pit had already lost by the time you got there. It was a battle between Marth and Fox, Fox taking the win.
You hurriedly made your way to the place where smashers would exit battles. People were already there, congratulating Fox on his victory. R.O.B and Marth were taking it well, but..
Pit wasn't.
You had left when the results were displayed, and Pit was in last place due to being tossed around like a volleyball and having no place to attack.
You could still see the small brunette angel walk out of the stage, pushing and shoving people out of the way so he could go back to his dorm room.
"Pit--" you began, the letter in your hands and placed against your chest as you took a step forward.
"Out of my way." He snapped, his voice deep and his bangs covering his eyes as he forcefully shoved you out of the way, he obviously didn't want to talk to anyone at the moment.
Being the emotional, shy person you were, you were devastated. Just one push and shove was enough to tell you that he wasn't interested in anything you had to say.
Taking another deep breath, you walked down the hallway and towards the dorm rooms, tossing the letter into a trashcan that was in the beginning of the hallway that lead to Pit's dorm room. As you passed Pit's room, you stopped in front of the door and stood there a few seconds before running off to yours.
"Poor girl.." Palutena frowned as she watched you run off, her attention was then pulled to the trashcan where she saw the letter addressed to pit.
She kneeled down and picked it up, examining it before bringing the letter to Pit's dorm.
"Pit?" The goddess spoke, knocking on the angel's door.
Opening the door, "What do you wa-" Pit began, his angry expression instantly changed when he looked up at Palutena. "L- Lady Palutena! What do you need?"
Palutena chuckled, "Here, take this." She smiled, handing Pit the envelope and then turning to leave.
"W- Wait! Who wrote it?"
"You'll find out just by reading it." She smiled, not turning to face him as she walked away from his dorm.
Pit sighed, closing the door and walking over to his bed, examining the letter. "This.. This is (Y/N)'s letter.." He frowned, opening up the letter beginning and reading it.
"I'd really like to tell you this in person.."
All he needed to read was the first sentence, and he knew exactly what you were talking about. He stood up, leaving your letter on his bed and running towards your dorm
"It's.. A letter to my crush.."
Your words kept on being repeated in his head.
He was your crush.
You loved him.
And he was stupid about it.
Pit raced to your dorm, grabbing the handle to your door and pushing it open, but you weren't there.
The angel cursed under his breath, running to the garden where he thought you were going to be.
You weren't there either, and he started to worry.
Pit looked around frantically, and he started asking where you were.
"(Y/N)? Last time I saw her was at lunch."
"Oh! Lady (Y/N)? I saw her run off somewhere after you pushed her in the hallway.."
Pit cursed under his breath, he ran around the dorms, calling your name and looking around frantically.
And finally he heard something.
Something that sounded like your voice.
You were crying.
Pit looked around, walking towards where the voice grew louder.
The girl's bathroom.
Great.
Taking a deep breath and mustering up some courage, Pit opened up the door and looked at the number of sinks, which lead to many stalls.
He walked, finding you in a stall at the end of the room.
"(Y/N)." Pit said quietly, placing his hand onto the stall door.
"G- G- G- Go Aw- Away.." You said, blowing your nose with some toilet paper and throwing it into the trashcan next to you.
"I read your letter." Pit said, opening the stall door.
You were sitting down on the ground,the toilet lid was down, your arms resting on top of it and your head on top of your arms.
Good thing these were cleaned daily.
Pit grabbed your arm and pulled you up to your feet, "C'mon, let's go back to my dorm." He said, wrapping an arm around your waist and smoothing down your messed up hair.
You sniffed, "Why are you helping me..?"
"Because you're my friend." He said, you frowning because you thought that you were friend zoned.
Once you had reached Pit's dorm, Pit set you down onto his bed, standing in front of you and running his hands through your hair.
"(Y/N)." Pit said, kneeling down so that you could see each other on eye level, "I'm going to answer to your letter." He says, placing his hands onto your shoulders.
Pit moves his hand from your shoulder to your cheek, caressing it gently and looking into your eyes. He leans forward a bit, then moves his hand over your eyes and gently placed his lips onto yours.
Your face heats up, and it takes you a few seconds to kiss him back. Pit removes his hand from your eyes, waiting a minute or two before pulling back.
"(Y/N), I love you."
"But what about after the match?"
"I- I was frustrated.. I was tossed around like a volleyball out there and I didn't get to attack anyone." He explained, scratching the back of his head.
"Pit, I'm sorry.." You said softly, frowning.
"It's okay. Besides, I ended up realizing how much I loved you in the end."
