we were flying out to Melbourne the next day and I was frantically packing the night before, clothes, dresses, make up, books, swimming stuff,cameras, toiletries everything was being thrown in the bag! Jesse came in and peered in my case " um, babe were going for 3 days, the day we fly out, then the next day is logie night, then were home the next day, do you really need all this?"
" nooo" I groaned pulling out some things, in then end I had my outfit for the night, 2 tops and a pair of shorts and leggings, some swimming stuff, my new underwear, pjs and toiletries, my bag felt significantly lighter!
our flight was leaving at 1:00 and we were going to arrive in Melbourne at 2:00 so the flight was pretty short. we needed to be at the airport for 12:00 though, we were taking a taxi with maxi to save cash.
getting into bed with Jesse I couldn't believe I was going to a award ceremony in about 48 hours time, I was going to walk down the red carpet with some internationally famous celebrities, paparazzi and be filmed for TV.... I made a mental note to myself.... don't f**k this up!
* next morning*
we were in the taxi with maxi on our way to the airport. Hoppo,kerrbox,harries and reidy were on there way there as well. we pulled up outside and grabbed our bags and headed into the check in. the other boys were standing waiting for us by check in and we walked through together.
We walked through to security and took our coats, shoes and bags off and placed them in the boxes to go through and be checked. after all the security checks we went through to the waiting lounge ready for our flight, we had a few people come up asking for autographs and photo's which was really strange for me! the only problem was that me and Jesse couldn't act like a couple as people who recognised us were around.
Before our flight departed maxi came over and showed us his twitter, somebody had taken a picture of me and Jesse without us knowing, we were really close together, looking at each other intently, smiling. we did look like a couple even though we weren't kissing or touching. The picture was spreading throughout our twitter feed, with edits and comments on the picture saying 'jesra' and loads of people were asking if it was real
" s**t, who does that?" I was pi**ed off that people would do something like that!
our flight was called so I pushed it out of my mind and got on board the plane. we were seated me, Jesse,reidy then maxi and hoppo, harries and Kerrbox were in front of us. after another 10 minutes we began hurtling down the runway, I clasped onto Jesse's hand as the plane began to lift, he gave me a reassuring smile and squeezed my hand lightly, I didn't mind flying it was just the take off that scared me a bit.
The plane got into the air and the seatbelts off sign was put on, Jesse gave me one of his headphones as we flew and we spent the first half hour of the flight listening to music curled up together. the flight was only a hour so we landed in Melbourne very quickly. we got off the plane and grabbed our bags from the conveyor belt, luckily they all arrived in one piece!. A taxi had been arranged to take us to the hotel and we drove through the streets of Melbourne, as we got to the Melbourne crown casino hotel where the logies were being held, the hotel was massive! I was admiring it when I noticed there was people camping outside, most of them were teenage girls, I could tell what they were straight away............ directioners!
" oh god!" I exclaimed
" what?" all the boys asked
" its one direction...... there performing!" I whispered. all the boys went into mock girlie screams and started flapping their arms like screaming fangirls, it was quite a sight!
we drove up to the entrance and pulled out the bags before going to check in. the receptionist greeted us and checked in our rooms " right for this group its 3 double rooms and 1 single, is that correct?"
" yep, thank you very much" hoppo said
she handed us cards " the doors are PIN activated so here are your PIN codes" we thanked her and walked off with our bags
" Jorja, you want the single with Jesse?" hoppo asked handing out the cards
I looked to Jesse, " yeah, if that's ok?"
all the other boys nodded and hoppo gave us the card. maxi's single room was across the hall from ours, as we opened the door he went into his room. I walked into the room and gasped. the room was huge!, there was a living area at the end with sofa's and a table, then there was a massive king sized bed with a huge TV at the end of the bed. there was a huge bathroom with a massive bath and shower as well. I dumped my bag on the floor and ran over to the bed and leapt on to it like a starfish
" this is amazing!" I exclaimed feeling the marshmallow soft pillows around my head, Jesse came bounding over and leapt down next to me. I rolled over to face him and placed my hand on his chest before kissing him softly. we sat up and I began to unpack my stuff, we heard a knock and maxi came walking in
" theres so many celebs here, most of the neighbours crew is down in the bar, kerrobx and reidy are already down there" maxi laughed
"we'll head down in a bit" I said, suddenly excited to see all these celebrities. I got changed quickly before we headed down to the bar. walking into the bar we saw the river boys from neighbours
" hey look Jess, its the bra boys rip off!" maxi laughed as he got the stubs in.
* next day*
I woke up very late with Jesse's arms wrapped around me, the night before had been pretty wild, I ended up carrying/dragging most of the boys back to there rooms as they were all pretty pissed. Jesse groaned and began moving, I pushed his arms off me and went and grabbed him a glass of water and some paracetmol for his hangover. I left them by the side of the bed as he had fallen back asleep and got dressed before walking out the hotel room, I took some painkillers and pieces of paper and went over to maxi's room and posted some under the door with the note ' might need these today J x' and then did the same to all the other boys rooms.
I walked down the main entrance and was greeted by the receptionist, I walked down to the main hall and stage where the awards were being held, they were setting up the tables and lights, the room was massive and it dawned on me that in a few hours time it would be filled with celebrities and camera's and I was suddenly filled with nerves.
I quickly left and walked around the hotel for a bit before I headed back up to my room, every time I passed someone I wondered if they were a celebrity or not!, I couldn't tell!
I quietly opened the door and sneaked in, Jesse was sat up in bed looking pretty worse for wear
" morning, you ok?" I said walking over and passing him the pills
" no, babe I'm sorry about last night" he croaked
" its fine don't worry, l'm going to start getting ready, its 2:00, you might want to check on the other boys as well" I said walking into the bathroom and started to run the bath. I stripped out my clothes and wrapped a robe around me as I grabbed my wash bag and got stuff out. I got in the bath and spent a while just relaxing before getting down to the serious business of getting myself ready!
I shampooed and deep conditioned my hair and left that on as I exfoliated all over and then shaved every thing that needed to be shaved!, I then rinsed out the conditioner and got out the bath. I wrapped my hair up and moisturised my body. I then started on my hair, I blow dried it before twisting it back with grips into a messy style. I then went out into the bedroom and painted my nails, I was going to match my nails to my bag and bracelet so I did them I bright lifeguard blue! The event started at 6pm and it was 4:30 so I started on my make up. I did my base with simple flawless look skin, I then did a very subtle smokey eye and applied a light pink colour to my lips to finish the look.
I walked out the bathroom to see Jesse on the bed watching TV, " wow!, you look gorgeous!" he exclaimed walking over to me. He kissed me before walking into the bathroom so he could get ready. I pulled out my new outfit and set it out when I heard a knock at the door, I went and opened it to see maxi there
" hi, I was just wondering when your getting ready?" maxi asked.
" about 2 and a half hours ago!, go get ready maxi!" I exclaimed
" oh right, sorry I didn't get up until about half a hour ago, thanks for the pills, I needed them!" he laughed, I passed him some more
" put those out for tomorrow, you'll probably need them!, now go get ready!" I urged closing the door as he went back to his room. I walked back to my clothes shaking my head " men!" I sighed.
I pulled out the box of new underwear and slipped on the new black lace bra and knickers I bought, it looked good!. I didn't hear Jesse come out the bathroom though and I just felt a pair of arms around my waist and his lips land against my bare shoulder, he slipped the bra strap off my shoulder
" no, Jesse!" I exclaimed
" please!" he whined
" no, we'll hold everyone up and we need to get ready!" I said walking away from him " later, I promise!" I laughed. Jesse sighed and began to slip on his clothes. I grabbed the dress and pulled it on, Jesse hadn't seen it yet and by his reaction it looked good!
his jaw dropped open " wow... babe... that looks incredible!, need a hand" he said seeing me struggle with the zip
" can you zip me up please?" I asked, Jesse came behind me and glided the zip up the dress, I turned to the mirror and admired it once again, it really was a fabulous dress! I adjusted my hair and grabbed the heels, bag and bracelet to see the full outfit. I stood in front of the full length mirror and checked everything, the pops of lifeguard blue were really eye catching and the dress was just brilliant, I loved it! " what do you think?" I asked Jesse who was still looking at me from the bed
" it looks beautiful..... you look so beautiful babe.... it sucks we cant be a couple tonight" Jesse sighed, I walked over to him and sat down on his knee
" i know it sucks but its for the best, but don't worry, your the one I'm coming back with tonight" I said flirtatiously before kissing him softly. Jesse responded deeply to the kiss, we were interrupted by a knock at the door. I stood up and answered it to see all the boys outside, all there jaws dropped when they saw me
" wow Jorja.... you look beautiful" hoppo exclaimed
" so that's how you look out of your lifeguard clothes!" maxi teased as I swung for him
" we'll just be a minute" I said running into the bathroom as the boys came in to the room, I put on a little perfume, slicked on some more lipgloss and smoothed down my dress, this was it!
we walked down to the entrance where a car was going to drive us round to the other side of the hotel to walk down the red carpet. I climbed in and we drove all of 10 seconds before pulling up to the red carpet, I took a deep breath and stepped out the car.
blinding flashes went off from the paparazzi and all I could hear was screams and shouts, all the directioners were there waiting for one direction as they were performing and there fans were really loud. it was quite disorientating and I felt the nerves begin to rise, I then felt two arms link through mine, Jesse on one side, maxi on the other, they lead me up the carpet to the official photo spot where we posed for a bit before being told to move on. I heard some people screaming our names and I looked around for the culprits, I soon noticed them and we all went over and signed some autographs
" OH MY GOD I CANT BELIVE ITS REALLY YOU!!!!!!!" one girl screamed at maxi before lunging herself at him. we all couldn't stop laughing at maxi's face as he hugged this girl and signed her face and boobs. I still couldn't believe I was here at the logies, I looked over to Jesse who was looking at me
" what?" I asked smiling at him, he walked over to me and leaned in close to me
" you look so hot" he whispered in my ear
I blushed and smiled, I really wanted to feel his arms around me on the carpet, I wanted us to feel like a couple but the paps and fans were around and we were already under suspicion from the fans. I went over to some of the fans and signed some autographs. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to be greeted by a film camera and a woman with a microphone
" hi I'm from channel 7, what are you in?" she asked rudely
I quickly looked around for help from one of the boys but they didn't see me " I'm from bondi rescue"
" what do you rate your chances tonight?" she said thrusting the mike under my mouth, I knew they would try twist my words so I thought about my answer for a while
" I hope we have a good chance but we are up against some very good competition in our category, I mean there some great programmes out there now but hopefully we will have a good chance, our fans our amazing but we will see shortly how we did" I explained with a smile
the woman walked off with the camera in tow, I walked over to the boys and we carried on with the autographs before we walked into the main hall and took our seats ready for the ceremony. The crowd cheered as the presenters walked on stage, they introduced the event before we had a performance from Bruno mars. after he had finished they began giving out the awards, but we were waiting for ours, most popular factual programme.
after a few awards the lights went down and a performance was about to begin,
" now this band needs no introduction, here to sing 2 of there best songs, brace yourselves girls" the presenter said walking off the stage
I heard the opening chords and immediately knew the song, the screams also gave away the band as 5 boys came bursting onto stage and began the song. the best song ever.
" maybe its the way she walks!" I burst out singing and all the boys turned to look at me " what?, I like one direction!" I laughed before carrying on singing along for the whole song. The did what makes you beautiful and I sang all of that to, after the songs finished Jesse leant over
" I didn't know you liked them"
" there's a lot of things you don't know about me Mr polock" I teased turning back to the stage. it was getting closer to our award and all our nerves were rising.
" right its now time for the award for the most popular factual programme, and the nominees are.... bondi rescue, bondi vet, booze patrol Australia and border security Australia..... and the winner is...."
there was a long tense wait as she opened the envelope and looked at it
" bondi rescue!"
we all cheered and stood up as claps echoed round the room, we all hugged whilst harries and hoppo went up to get the award. they gave their thank you speeches from the team and network and we clapped and cheered. They came back to the table with the logie award and placed it on the table, we all just sort of stared at it in awe, we had done it, another logie!
most of the boys got out their phones and tweeted pictures and I did the same, I was still in shock at the fact we had won!
the rest of the awards seem to fly past before it was time for the after party!
The after party room was massive and filled with celebrities, it was insane! the boys all got drinks in and began the downwards spiral into a drunken state! we were milling with all the super famous aussie celebrities and I really didn't know what to do!. I turned around too quickly and crashed into somebody, probably a soap star!
" I really should have watched some aussie soaps before coming here, who the f**k is everyone!" I exclaimed to Jesse over the music
" most of them are from neighbours or home and away don't worry!" he laughed back, I noticed that Jesse wasn't drinking as much as the other boys
" why aren't you drinking lots" I asked looking up to see reidy and maxi attempting to dance
" because last night I was pissed and it wasn't fair on you, also you promised later and I don't want to pass out before we go back to our room" he joked
Jesse went off to get drinks and I was left alone in the room full of celebrities. I felt someone crash against me and I heard them stutter with apologies. I turned to face them and realised who it was
Louis Tomlinson
he was my favourite in one direction and I used to have a huge crush on him before I discovered bondi rescue
" oh god are you ok?" he asked
" yep, I'm fine, wait can I have a picture?" I unprofessionally asked pulling out my phone, he snapped a quick picture before walking off. that's going on instagram! Jesse returned with the drinks and we spent a while watching the boys dancing and box head banging. at that point a man and woman walked up to Jesse
" I see you have clothes on this time" the woman laughed what the f**k were they talking about?, even Jesse looked confused. " last time we saw you it was 6:30 in the morning, you had next to nothing on and you were clutching the logie looking for reidy before a swim!, its me charlotte dawson and this is ian Dickson, there was a piece of it in the herald sun?"
" oh god!" Jesse exclaimed " was that you?"
it suddenly hit me what they were talking about!, last year at the logies charlotte and ian found Jesse lost in the corridors after a booze filled night! I remembered reading the article practically wetting myself with laughter!
they walked off leaving a red faced Jesse in their wake " well done Jesse" I joked.
we left at 12:00 and walked away from 5 very pissed lifeguards, I was worried about how we'd find them in the morning! I had the logie as the only fully sober person here
we walked back upto the bedroom and I immediately slipped off my heels and put the logie down. I pulled off the bracelet and unpinned my hair as Jesse slipped off his tie and un buttoned his shirt. " can you unzip me?" I asked struggling to reach the zip
he came up behind me and lifted my hair off my back, Jesse slowly glided the zip down the dress and I let it fall to the ground, I was standing there in my underwear, Jesse planted soft, gentle kisses along my shoulder and up my neck and I moaned quietly at the feeling. he moved his hands to my waist and I turned to face him and kissed him passionately on the lips. we walked backwards and fell on to the bed, jesse straddled me as we kissed, I pulled the shirt off him and threw it to the floor. Jesse paused and lifted himself up and looked down to me underneath him " your so beautiful" he said before he carried on kissing me.
* 3 am*
* maxi's POV*
me, reidy,kerrbox, harries and hoppo all stumbled towards Jesse and Jorja's room, we were all giggling like madmen
" ssshhhhhh!" I slurred as we came outside there door, I put my head close to the door and listened,
" cant hear anything *hiccup* right you know what to d do guys!" I slurred, they all nodded and pulled out the cans of silly string and cream.
I punched in the PIN number that I had remembered them doing and slowly creaked the door open, the room was dark and I could hear them both sleeping. we quietly walked over to the bed and stood at the end of the bed, I put my hand in the air and counted down from 3
" arhhhhhhh!" we all screamed squirting them both with the cream and silly string
they both shot up in bed screaming as we covered them with it, it was still pitch black so they couldn't see a thing or who it was. Jesse switched on the lamp and light flooded the room.
Jesse arm was placed protectively in front of Jorja who was covering herself with the duvet and they were both covered with cream and string. we all burst out laughing and nearly fell over at the sight of them, the look of shock on there faces!
" you little s**ts!" Jorja exclaimed, I walked round to her side of the bed and slid in jokingly next to her
" I'm sowiee" I slurred
" maxi, get out of the bed" Jorja said seriously
" why?"
" I am completely naked under here"
* Jorja POV*
I woke with a scream as I heard voices and felt cold stuff land on me, Jesse threw his arm in front of me as I hitched the covers up and he turned on the lamp to show 5 lifeguards hysterically laughing at us whilst squirting cream and string at us. They collapsed on the floor laughing as rage filled me, maxi climbed in the bed and I was completely naked
" I am completely naked under here" I said. I have never seen a person move so fast as maxi did as he rolled straight out the bed and ushered the boys out the room, Jesse hadn't said much at this point and I looked over to him and we both started laughing at the site of each other, we were both covered in cream and silly string was hanging off our faces.
" little gits, there's no comeback for that is there?" I said getting out of bed, throwing on a long top and walking to the bathroom to wash off the cream and string
" oh believe me, there is" jesse said walking into the bathroom behind me " there all pissed, so they'll have a stonking hangover tomorrow and what's the worst thing you can have with a hangover, loud noises"
" oh I get where your coming from there" I laughed and walked back into the bed and began to wipe the cream and string off the covers. once we had finished I slid back into bed and Jesse wrapped his arms around me and I placed my head on his chest before falling back to sleep.
* 10 am*
me and Jesse threw on our clothes and grabbed our phones and a metal bowl that was in our hotel room and a metal spoon.
"lets get these b***hes back!" I whispered as we snook out the room and walked over to Maxi's room. He had left his door ajar and we walked in to see that, conveniently, all the boys had passed out in his room, they were still in their suits and they were scattered all around the room, I looked over to Jesse and mouthed " 1, 2, 3"
Jesse turned on his music to full volume and I did the same with my phone, I bashed the metal bowl and spoon together creating one hell of a racket!
" RIGHT GET UP YOU GUYS, COME ON UP!" I yelled whilst Jesse went and jumped on them all, Kerrbox ran into the bathroom and we heard him throw up, all the other boys were groaning and trying to cover their heads, we just carried on with the noise and watched in hysterics as the boys all came around clearly with the hangovers from hell. We made a final round of noise before leaving them to wake up, I grabbed the painkillers on the way out just to make it hit home!
" aw that was brilliant!" I said hi fiving Jesse as we walked back into the room. we were leaving Melbourne later that day so I started packing up my stuff. After we had finished 5 bleary eyed lifeguards came stumbling into our room
" wheres the f**king painkillers" Kerrbox groaned holding his head
" what you mean these?" I said holding out the packet, they all nodded before moaning in pain, " admit we gave the better prank" I teased
" you did the better one, now for gods sake give us the painkillers!" reidy gasped
" alright no need to yell!" I laughed throwing them to them, they grabbed some cups from the side and went into our bathroom and swallowed them quickly, They all came and collapsed onto our bed after. I snapped a few pictures and posted them all up on instagram, including the ones from last night. I had taken a few of the awards ceremony and the after party with the celebrities, I remembered the one with Louis Tomlinson and posted that up too. The all got some great reactions especially the ones of the boys on the bed!
I went and packed for the boys as I knew they would never recover in time to be ready for our flight. it took me no time at all to throw the clothes in the bags and take them a change of clothes each, I left as they all got changed and walked down to reception to give the PIN cards back, there was bleary eyed, hungover celebrities everywhere it was pretty funny to see!
I got back to the room to see the boys had changed and were beginning to come around, the seemed a bot less zombie like was the correct term! we spent the next hour just recovering before we got a taxi to the airport.
The boys just collapsed in the waiting area with coffee's and shortly after we boarded the plane to get home. The boys all slept on the plane whilst me and Jesse just chatted and listened to his music. we arrived back at Sydney in no time and all went our separate ways at the airport apart from maxi who shared a cab with us back to bondi.
I needed to take the logie to the tower so we briefly went into the tower
" we won!!" I cheered lifting the logie above my head as the boys cheered. I handed the logie to terry and we told them all about the logies and what had happened before leaving and getting dunno to give us a lift back to the apartment as he was going off shift.
we dragged the bags up the stairs and dumped them by the front door before we collapsed on the sofa next to each other
" that was crazy!" I laughed as I curled up with Jesse
" it was pretty insane!" he agreed " last night you said theres a lot of stuff you don't know about me, what did you mean by that?" jesse asked
" it wasn't anything serious, there just is a lot of stuff you don't know about me!" I replied " like the fact my favourite sort of music is 80's and 90's cheese, I do like one direction, I have girl crushes on mila kunis and Jennifer Lawrence, i know all the words to i just had sex by the lonely island, I have a fear of moths and veins as well as spiders and I know all the words to never gonna give you up by rick astley!, there that's some stuff you didn't know about me!"
" what do you mean 80's and 90's music?" Jesse asked looking wary
" s club 7, backstreet boys, the weather girls, survivor and the spice girls are some of my favourite artists" i admitted
i saw Jesse sigh " seriously?, the backstreet boys"
" backstreets back alright!" i sang before bursting into laughter as Jesse tickled me " if you wanna be my lover you gotta get with my friends!, its raining men!, don't stop movin can you feel the music, its the eye of the tiger its the thrill of the fight, never gonna give you up!" i sang inbetween laughter as Jesse groaned. "I am what I am!" I laughed
" is there anything else I should no about your horrific music taste!" he joked
" yeah..... I freaking love Disney!" I laughed as I ran out the room with Jesse following me
It had been a mad, crazy and insane few days but I wouldn't have changed it for anything!

also... they have started filming the new season of bondi rescue FU*K YEAH ITS BACK BABY! hopefully jesse and maxi will still be in it? i don't know how long the ride is and wether it will coincide with filming for BR . it was only the lifeguard tests yesterday so hopefully they will still be in it ! xxx
