"Im home!" You called out to whoever was home at the moment as you took off your (Color) Converse and set them next to the door, throwing your backpack next to the staircase so you could put that away later.
"FINALLY." Your older sister, Rika yelled as you rolled your eyes.
Rika was 4 years older than you and graduated high school last year. She was currently still living at the house until she could find a decent apartment. She had darker //If it can even go any darker (H/C) hair that went down just passed her elbows, although t was currently in a high ponytail, and had dark blue eyes. She was wearing a long-sleeved navy v-neck shirt and some regular old jeans.
"(Y/N), come play some SSB4 with meeee" Rika asked as she walked over to where you were standing and pulled you over to were the TV was sitting. The game was already up & Running, all that needed to happen was for you to choose your little nickname and choose your character.
You smiled, choosing Link for your first battle against Rika and choosing your nickname, (N/N). You pressed the start button, choosing the Fire Emblem: Awakening stage Coliseum, and pressed the A button to start the battle.
The battle started, Your older sister controlled her character to attack you with its side A. She kept on attacking you, the CPUs were hot on your tail too.
AND YOU HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING YET.
With you dying in the first 30 seconds, you tightened your grasp on the controller as you used Link to go after the level 8 CPUs. with you getting roughly 4 kills in a 3 minute time, you ended up getting 5 deaths. and after you finished the battle, Rika won with 7 KOs and 3 deaths. You on the other hand in second place with 5 deaths and 8 KOs. You gritted your teath as Rika looked over at you, as you chose your fighter for the next match, Pit.
Rika started the next battle with the sane stage, and you ended up getting the same results, Rika in 1st, you in 2nd.
"it seems like little (Y/N) has bad luck with today's game?" Rika looked over at you with a smug look on her face.
Sure, you were the best player in the house, maining with both Pit & Link and would always win battle after battle, but having a losing streak just wasn't what you'd really want. You'd get this streak every so often, when you feel like people inside the game are hating on you. Your grip on the controller you were using tightened, as you threw it at the couch that was behind you, as you stood up and ran towards the staircase and grabbed your backpack as you rushed up the stairs, slamming your door shut once you reached your room.
You angrily threw your backpack onto the floor of your room and threw yourself onto your bed , staring at your wall.
' I'm an Idiot.. '
You thought to yourself, ' I can't even take a couple of losing battles.. I mean- so what if i spent all of my time with that game winning.. Its just who i am! its not my fault ive been good at that game from the moment i started playing it.. Right..? '
You whipped your cheeks to keep any tears from falling, as you sat up and slapped your cheeks a few times, ' No- i wont cry.. '
"(N/N)-sama..?" Someone called out to you, using your SSB4 nickname

You turned your head, but while you turned it you glanced at your little Amiibo collection that was in your open closet
"Hmm?" You answered, looking at the person who called out to you
"(N/N)-sama..? Are you ok? you've been crying." He asked, concerned
You tried so hard not to fangirl over one of your favorite Nintendo characters standing right in the middle of your room, "I-I wasnt crying!" You puffed your cheeks, as you crossed your arms.
He wore a plain black t-shirt, with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath, along with regular old jeans and some converse. His brown hair was how it always looked, and his laurel crown was missing from his head.
"Don't lie to me, (N/N)-sama! your cheeks are red, so you've been crying!"
"That doesn't mean anything."Another voice entering the conversation. He was taller that the brunette, and was wearing a green hoodie and some jeans, along with some converse as well. His blonde hair was how it usually was as well, and it literally made you flinch that he actuslly talked fo once.
"What are you saying, you elf?"
"Oh, you know what im saying, Angel-face!"
the two glared at each other as you swore you could see that little anime spark of rivalry thing coming from their eyes.
"C-Can i ask how you got in here in the first place?" You asked, your hand shaking as you rose it, to attempt to stop them of whatever they were doing
"The window-"
"Your front door-"
"Then how come i didn't notice?"
"Maaagic~" Pit answered, motioning his hands like he was making a rainbow.
You sighed, "Well- like, how did you get her from SSB4..?" You said quietly
"W-wait- you know who we are?" Pit asked, surprised
"Of course she does, you idiot. Didn't you notice her little Amiibo collection in her closet? and the Smash bros theme playing when you got here?" Link explained
"ooooh"
"Yeah.." You said weakly
"(N/N)-sama..?" Pit walked up to you, hesitating before placing his hand onto yours
"Yes..?" You answered, looking into his sapphire eyes, trying so hard not to blush
"Everyone in the smash mansion- well on your game disc -Admires you. your like the coolest player ever!" He told you, acting like some kind of fanboy
"Hey," You said quite softly, "Im not the coolest person to play smash bros.. they hold all these tournaments, and if i would even go there i wouldn't stand a chance. I cant even play a game correctly because im so childish.. Me loosing just ticks me off so much that i feel like i have to punch something."
"(N/N)-sama.."
"Pit, call me (Y/N), ok? i dont mind."
"OK, (N)- I-I mean (Y/N)-chan!" He corrected himself
You giggled softly "Pit, why are you so flustered?"
"M-Me? Flustered? Naaah." he rubbed the back of his neck nnervously
Smiling, you looked over at the Hylian hero, "Nee, why did you guys come to me in the first place? Just to say that im super good at the video game?"
"Well that, and Master Hand wanted you to come over to the mansion, something about thanking you in person."
Your eyes widened, "How am i even going to get there? Is it going to be some sort of one-way trip or something? do i have to stay there for a month? Or a week? A day?"
"Whoa whoa whoa.. hold up there, we've got everything set up for you."
"Can i bring a friend?" Your eyes sparkled, "Her nickname in ssb4 is Rinny-chan. she doesn't have the game at her house, so she comes over here a lot to play it. like, every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday or so."
"Oh I know her!" Pit answered as he placed a finger to his chin, "She mains Lady Palutena right?"
"yeah." you nodded, "She likes playing as female characters, she's super good with all of them, but Lady Palutena's her best! I'm just good with swordsmen because i think swordsmen are cool."
Pit smiled, "Alright then!" He magically took his Laurel crown out of his pocket and placed it onto his head, Link with his ocarina, "Let us gooo!"
"Wait wait wait wait waaITT!" You flailed your arms, "Im still having this get processed in my brain- you want me to go to the smash brothers mansion, meet almost all of my favorite video game characters, and bring one of the most closest friends with me?"
"Pretty much." Link answered
"Ok, just let me call her.." You pulled out your phone from your backpack, calling your friend, (B/F/N)

"Well, i've got to get changed before my friend comes over. It'll take me a few minutes, so if she gets here before im done, don't be surprised if she faints, or freaks out about anything." You tel the two as you take out some random shirt and some jeans.
You walked into the bathroom, changing and fixing your hair, etc.
right as you walked out of the bathroom, the doorbell rang, so you rushed downstairs to get it.
"Hey, (B/F/N)!"
"So- whats this all about? Did some guy ask you out or something?"
"You wish. Now c'mon, theres people i want you to meet."
"SO IM RIGHT! THERES THIS GUY THAT YOU LIKE AND YOU WANT ME TO TALK WITH HIM RIGHT NOW BECA-" Your friend stopped talking as soon as you opened the door, revealing a modernized Link and Pit.
"H-Hello, Rinny-chan.." Pit waved, addressing (B/F/N) using her ssb4 nicnkame.
"(Y/N), am i dreaming..?"
"No, your not." You pinched her, "They want us to go to the smash mansion place, and talk with master hand or something of that nature."
"and meet the fighters and assists and pokemon in the process?"
"Ad meet the fighters and assists and pokemon in the process."
"SWEET!" Your friend smiled, "Whenever your ready, im ready. My parents are off on a business trip, so it woudn't matter."
"Whatever you say." You smiled, as Pit placed the Laurel crown onto his head and began to call out to Lady Palutena, and Link telling you to grab onto his hoodie as he played some tune that teleported you and him to the smash mansion.

"so this is what it looks like.." You smiled, looking at the outside of the mansion
"Yeah, its pretty neat, right?" Link smiled at you, patting your head. You looked at him, noticing that he was in his original tunic.
Puffing your cheeks, you took off his green pointy hat as you attempted to wear it.
"H-Hey!" He called out to you, holding out his arm like he was going to chase you, but stopped and started blushing once he realized how cute you looked with hit hat on, "Hey.. You actually kinda cute.." He whispered
"OH COURSE SHE'S CUTE, ARE YOU JUST REALIZING THIS!?" Pit jumped into the conversation, then quickly placing his hands over his mouth and blushing madly once he realized what he said.
You and your friend giggled, "C'mon! I wanna meet everyone! They all seem nice!" You said excited, grabbing both of their hands and pulling them towards the mansion.
This was gonna be one of the bests days ever.
