An almost good and wonderful morning bask into the Capital of the Empire itself...
And while 'almost' is the word, the Empire seemed to be at relative peace despite the ongoing civil war and rampant corruption in it.
Seryu Ubiquitous, an officer of the Imperial Police and secretly, the Night Haunter, is now doing her daily activities of patrolling the city and seeing the sights on things as she watched the citizens were all minding their own business, discussing their stuff and amongst the many things as they all shown to be happy and all.
Seryu seemed to be happy looking at this as she is busy tugging on Koro on the road. Her 'friend' on the other hand, "It is a shame that I have not sense any sort of misery in this part of the city. The senses of their anger, their hatred and their loathing. I may not know or comprehend one as powerful as a Demon Lord such as Asmodeus but why does he want this humans to be.... happy?" Orthax asked in disgust.
"Maybe because Asmodeus had a heart?" Seryu said to him in their telepathic mind together.
"Well, it doesn't matter now. All that matters is what is our next target, Seryu Ubiquitous?" Asked Orthax in an impatient tone.
"I'm thinking. I'm thinking." Seryu assured the demon in her hand as she thought of her whole situation.
Seryu had done herself a favour as the infamous vigilante in the Empire known as the Dark Haunter who prowls in the darkness of the night and hunt down the many criminals and corrupt people at every opportunity in the most gruesome way possible.
And to say that the Imperial Police were having trouble taking their job seriously is an understatement. Once, the Police Officers were all content to just sit back, relax and enjoying the authority they have by taking bribes and all that.
But after the many nobles and connected criminal gangs were all being killed wholeheartedly, the need for a competent police force are at an all time high and seriously, they have no idea how to handle such a thing.
Then again, this was after Seryu heard them talking about her behind her back. Ranging between how they thought of her as an annoying justice spewing bitch who is such an idiot, a violent pet of Ogre or other stuff that they say that they were glad she is blind because they can do whatever they want, even if they can do something right in front of them, Seryu gritted her teeth at how she doesn't even have a good standing with her fellow police officers.
It pains her on being reminded as a monstrous weapon who is blind to the overall corruption of the Empire and sees everything in 'Black and White'...
Actually, correction, 'Black and White' with little compromise because looking at herself back then, she realized how monstrous she looked before.
She mulled in regret that even if her condition was the result of Honest and Dr. Stylish's actions of brainwashing and psycho conditioning to her, she is still looked at herself before as a horrible monster who doesn't know any better and sees herself as too justified in the name of justice.
She scoffed at the word of that...
'Justice'.
If the Empire show of justice that involves bribery, prosecution of the innocent and constant warfare, she had none of that.
Looking at her hand and then herself, she had the idea that once she is done being the Dark Haunter and finish wiping out every scum in the Capital and bring peace and reformation of the Empire, well...
Maybe retirement would have been preferable.
Her father would have wanted that and so is her mother and Albert.
But she is interrupted when she bumped into someone.
Looking at someone in front of her, she witnessed someone.
He looked to be a man dressed in thick white armour that is far too advanced and far too bulky in comparison to the usual white uniforms of the Imperial Soldiers. Their helmets also hide their faces with the exception of their mouths and their weapons, their rifles, are so thick, bulky and advance that it makes the Empire's assault rifles looked primitive comparison.
Seryu recognised who the person is alongside other people who also wear the same armour and weapons as the one Seryu accidentally bump into.
'Wait, I think I know this guys. Who were they again? I think they are the new units of the Empire. I mean, the name stuck but I can't put my finger on them.' Seryu thought in frustration on who this mysterious soldiers are.
"Officer, are you alright?" The tall soldier said to Seryu.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Sorry, lost in my thoughts there. By the way..." She asked, tilting her head, "Who are you again?"
The soldier then nod and said, "We are the new units of the Empire that will deal against the incoming threats of the Empire, whether in the Capital or out. You must have heard of the Kaiserliche Astartes, correct, Officer?"
"Uh... Yeah... Who doesn't?" Seryu thought, grimacing at meeting one of those giant knights in white armour. Or rather, Orthax does and he has a few choice of words to this.
'Get them away from me! Get them away from me! Their souls! Their presence! It is unbearable! Get them away from me! Please, Seryu, get away! GET AWAY!'
Yeah, to say that she is surprise that the demon sounds scared is both surprising and amusing to her.
"Fuck you." Orthax spitefully bark back.
"Awww, love you too." Seryu teased back.
"Well, we are the Kaiserliche Militarum, a specialized elite unit commended by the Hierophant in being the best at all known acts of warfare. From attrition warfare to guerilla warfare to assault combat and even even urban warfare, we handle it all, thank you." The Militarum soldier explained to her.
"I see. And what is happening there?" Seryu said, looking to the side to see a really disturbing sight.
There are rotting corpses with flies running amok all over them, looking like they were being killed by a firing squad if said firing squad wield high powered weapons as well.
And looking closer at the corpses, she can see that this corpses wear some pretty expensive suits and sometimes, one of them looked rather garish that it borders on being pretentious on wealth and taste at all.
Overall, Seryu noticed that the corpses are nobles surrounded by bodyguards of them.
The Kaiserliche Militarum soldier looked at the corpses then back at Seryu as he started to explain, "They are all making trouble in the market. One of them seemed to be making trouble by demanding something and started to hit the civilians left and right and even assaulting a child. We came upon them and demand them to stand down but they refused as they order us to kneel before them. Realising that there is no reasoning, we used lethal force and we killed one of them to force them to comply. It does not work and the troublemaker tried to call an Imperial Officer to protect him, even giving them money. However, we also told them that this is now our business and by the decree of the Emperor, all Imperial Police Forces are to not interfere in the business of the Kaiserliche by any means necessary. Failure to comply will result in instant execution. And..." The Militarum soldier look again at the corpses and finally said, "You know the rest."
"I... I understand..." Seryu said in an unsure tone.
"Are you going to impede us, officer?" The Kaiserliche Militarum asked her.
"What? No, no, no. I... have a busy day ahead of me and I appreciate what you just did. Thank you." Seryu said to him.
"Just doing our duty, officer." He said in finality.
"By the way, what's your name?" Seryu asked the soldier.
"Classified." He said simply, making Seryu look at him in a deadpan expression.
"Right..." She said with a roll of her eyes, "By the way, what are you waiting for?"
"We are waiting for a Corpse Guild to get rid of the body, officer." The Militarum soldier said.
This made Seryu widened her eyes in shock as she cannot believed what she had just heard in her entire life, ever.
"W-what?" Seryu said in disbelief, "You mean, their real? Like, a real thing? The Corpse Guild actually exist?" Seryu said in shock.
Before the Kaiserliche Militarum answered her, murmurs ran amok in the market as Seryu looked at where the citizens were all whispering in fear and walked away with an unnerved behaviour as they saw someone approaching the corpses.
It looked to be someone or something that is barely human at all and while it does have a humanoid shape, everything about it is anything but.
It appears to be a towering humanoid being covered in thick brown robes that looked like they had been torn apart from the get go, it's spine showcasing a horrible mechanical apparatus of machinery like no other, hunched to the point that the head is downward, hidden beneath a hood with a pointed tip that almost hide his corpse-like face, his limbs being consisted of a giant firearm that is both advanced and ramshackle, an arm with a pincer-like claw and finally, beneath the robes, are spider-like legs while also have tentacles that has skulls from beneath or the back that Seryu doesn't know if they are real or not.
Overall, the thing looks like an absolute nightmare from the worst things imaginable and quite possibly ever.
Seryu watched in horror at the sight of the thing she is seeing with her own two eyes.
"Is that... Is that a..." Seryu stuttered, not wanting to know to know what that is.
"That is a Corpse Magos, a member of the Corpse Guild that deals in cleaning the streets of the many corpses that have plagued the streets due to either the public executions, the wanton murder or cruelty in the Capital is all that they have a job to do." The Kaiserliche Militarum soldier explained.
"Yeah, I get that. But just what is that thing? Is that even human?" Seryu asked again in an unnerved horror.
"That is-"
"Classified. Yeah, I get it." Seryu interrupted him, not wanting to hear that as she saw the Corpse Magos has tentacles and other arms appearing from the robes and back as they started to carry the corpses without any effort as some of the skulls, one that is floating, started to spray something on the remaining corpse gunk on the floor as it is cleaning it.
Once again, everybody is steering clear from the Corpse Magos carrying the bodies towards whatever he is taking them to as they then almost go to their respective businesses barring a few who shudder and cringe at the situation they were forced to watch at.
"Creepy." Seryu muttered.
"Their just doing their duty, officer. No harm done." The Militarum soldier said, "Well, we better be going now. Duty calls. See you, officer." He said as he walked off alongside the other soldier as they do their patrols in the Capital.
"See you too." Seryu said to them with a reluctant smile.
"I can sense them, Seryu. They are an abomination. A thing that fills me with a shuddering horror just like when I first sensed the Kaiserliche Astartes." Orthax said in disgust.
"Obviously, the name is kind of a dead giveaway." Seryu pointed out.
"Let me be clear. They are not to be trusted no matter how 'pure' they are." Orthax said the word with utter revulsion, "Right now, we will do what do best in eliminating all that is sinful in the Empire and if you have to fight them, do it." Orthax empathize it to her.
Seryu just sigh and just said, "Don't need to tell me twice."
Just as Seryu is about to continue her patrol, she is interrupted by someone.
"Uhm, excuse me, officer. Can you help me with something?"
Seryu looked at who it is, appearing to be a rather handsome young man with short blonde hair and wearing a suit that showcase his smiling face to her.
She looked at him suspiciously before she cleared her throat and said, "I guess. What can I do for you, citizen?"
"Well, if it isn't any trouble, can you point me to where the orphanages were at? I am kind of lost here." The young man asked.
Once again, Seryu looked at her even more suspiciously as she then said, "Why?"
The young man seemed to frown at this but just ignores it and said, "Nothing much. It is just that, I am in need of an assistant and I thought I could adopt a few children on the workforce."
Seryu looked at him even more suspiciously, frowning as she scrutinized her eyes as the young man is sweating bullets from her gaze.
"Okay, maybe that came out really wrong but look at it in hindsight. You see, if the children are to become my assistant, they would get free bed, education, food and finally, a chance to grow rather continue to stay in the orphanage being coddled. That's all. For you see, I am an honest master of some business and I do have a soft spot for children, you know?" The young man reasoned with her.
Seryu continue to scrutinize her eyes at the young man before her expression changed to a cheerful look and said, "Oh, that is a wonderful thing to do. I too wanted to see children grow up to become the best they could be. It is wonderful how good they grow up."
"I know, right?" The young man said with a chuckle.
"By the way, citizen. The name is Seryu Ubiquitous, a proud member of the Imperial Police and bringer of justice. What's your name, citizen?" Seryu introduced herself before asking the young man.
"Well, if the pretty lady like you asked nicely, the name is Bach. And it is pleasure to meet a fine officer of the Empire. It's because of you that you keep us all safe." Bach said, introducing himself before flattering Seryu.
"Oh, stop it. You're making me blush." Seryu said in a flattered tone, "Now, come on. Let's-" Seryu then grabbed Bach's hand before she started to jolt.
"Uh, Seryu? You okay?" Bach said in worry.
"Oh, sorry about that. Forgot that I am really sensitive when I touched someone with my left hand. Once having an accident lately." Seryu said in assurance.
"Really, then why did you-" Bach was about to ask on why Seryu would grabbed him with her injured arm when he was then pulled by Seryu.
"Now come on. I know an orphanage across a block away. I'll take you there. Follow me." Seryu said as she pulled Bach towards where the 'orphanage' was at.

It was only about an hour and Bach had been following the Imperial Police Officer towards where the orphanage was at.
However, Bach realized that the part of the city he is getting himself into is shown to be even fewer people until finally, nothing is left.
It doesn't help that the day is getting dark and the sun is setting which means that he is late.
'Where is this girl taking me? If I don't come back, my masters will kill me or worse.' Bach thought in frustration inwardly as he then cleared his throat and said, "Uh, Ms. Ubiquitous. I don't mean to pry but can you please hurry up. I don't want to be late."
"Don't worry, Bach. We'll get to the orphanage in no time." Seryu said calmly to him in assurance.
'You better.' Bach thought in annoyance. As he then looked around, he suddenly realized how the area they are in suddenly looked so uninhabited and is mostly deserted and finally enough, he knows that this is further towards where the orphanage is at.
Bach felt a wave of nervousness in him before saying, "Uhm, Ms. Ubiquitous? Where are we at?"
"Oh, well, if you must know..." Seryu then turned around, glaring at him with a cold dead stare as she said, "Far away from the orphanage where you will treat the children like toys for your master."
"Wait what-OOOMMPH!!" Bach is interrupted as he was punched in the gut by Seryu, landing a hard punch on his stomach.
Bach keeled forward, holding his stomach before suddenly felt a kick on his head as he was flying towards an alleyway and crashed into the floor.
Bach hold his bleeding shattered jaw as he watched in terror as Seryu slowly walked towards him with a cold yet furious look on her expression.
"W-what is your damage? I don't know where did you hear that rumour but I am not like that? You hear-" A gunshot interrupted him as he watched in terror as Seryu had showed her gun tonfa weapons, even showcasing that the muzzle is smoking.
Bach is now terrified and said, "W-wait... I.. I know this looks bad. I... I don't know where did you heard from this... B-but... Please listen to me..." Bach then showed off some sort of tattoo on his hand and said, "I was forced to do this, alright. I... I didn't mean to let those children get fucked by my masters. It was the only I could survive. Honest-" He was interrupted again by another gunshot, making yelp as it almost hit his foot off.
"Uh.... Uh..." Bach had no idea what to say before saying, "Y-you want money, right? I have tons more at my place. If you let me go, I'll give you most of them... Okay, maybe all of them. Please, it is yours if you let me go. That's what you Imperial Officers want, right? Bribery, right? Just please... Let me go-AAAAAHHHHHHH!?" Bach is then interrupted as Bach felt his ribs got shot off.
Bach then looked at Seryu in anger and said, "You, bitch. Who the fuck are you, huh? To treat me like this? I am a proud noble of the Empire. And how dare your betters like this? It was because of me that your Imperial Police still exist. So, who the fuck are you to treat someone of high class by a servant.... Like... You-" He is then interrupted by Seryu giving a roundhouse kick to his head, making it hit on the wall, cracking his nose.
Bach didn't have a moment to moan in pain before Seryu grabbed his hair and started to pummel his face towards the wall, pummeling it until nothing is left but Bach no longer having a handsome face.
He just moaned in absolute pain as tears started streaming from his eyes as Seryu looked at her in disgust as she said, "Oh, so when it happens to you, you cry like a baby. But when the kids were all suffering from being forced to get fucked by dogs or forced to fight each other naked, especially to those women you forced to fight each other..." She said in absolutely anger, loathing and disgust as he then said, "Honestly, the further I looked upon your mind, the more I could watch on how fucking sick you people are. It's people like you that makes the world a horrible place. In fact..." Seryu then stomped on his legs as Bach screamed in pain and wept in agony, "I believe that you people have been spoiled so much that you didn't want to have your fun ruin by 'responsibility' or 'duty' or anything that you don't want to. Well..." Seryu then throw Koro behind Bach as the living Teigu started to get enlarged towering over Bach as he looked at it in fear.
"If that is how you feel, then allow me to do what my fellow pathetic police officers are going to do to someone like you. And that is to make your life, showing how being evil, fucking sucks." Seryu said, threateningly to him as the only sound from the alleyway are nothing but muffled screams.

In the deep darkness of unknown origin and location lies a trial of a meeting that had been held....
Kneeling down on the floor is Genevieve Eupraxas who's face is barely healing from the whole ordeal of being subjected to a blinding light as trembled in fear and kneeling before her elder sisters.
Said elder sisters are all the remaining six members of the Seven Leaders of the Daeva as they looked upon their last and youngest sister with a variety of emotion, some of which are scorn, mockery or something unknown that is understandable only to them.
The first one is Anvari Eupraxas, appearing as a woman with long black hair with a red streak, her eyes has black pupils with a yellow slit as she is wearing a sleeveless black jacket and black jeans with her jacket dropped down, exposing her shoulders as she is sucking on her lollipop, smiling in a sadistic manner as she looked at Genevieve.
The second is Gulikan Eupraxas, appearing as a far more muscular woman with long purple hair and wearing glasses on her red eyes while wearing purple bodysuit that are both unusual and just plain bizarre to the core as she looked at Genevieve with a scorn look.
The third is Erzsebet Eupraxas, appearing as a normal looking girl with long black hair and wearing a white shirt, black tie, a short skirt and a black formal jacket with the most noteworthy being her glowing yellow eyes while also having a star earring on her left ear as her expression is one of maddening as she smiling and giggling to her hearts content.
The fourth is Duchagne Eupraxas, appearing as a woman dressed in a form fitting bodysuit while wearing a helmet with a tattered cape while also exposing her face that showcase her sadistic expression on her face.
The fifth is Xiao Eupraxas, appearing as a woman with long white hair and having pale skin while wearing a revealing kimono of sort and grasping a red sword as she look with a stoic expression.
And finally, the sixth and not-so final member is En Eupraxas, appearing as a woman with long red hair and ruby eyes that is adorned with a circlet on top of her head while wearing a formal red dress which exposed her thighs and shoulders.
This six, with their seven being Genevieve Eupraxas, are all, as stated before, the Seven Leaders of the Daeva who ruled the vampiric population in the underworld of the Empire as they do what they do best as hedonistic, immoral, literal bloodthirsty corpses who treat humanity like sheeps to herd around and eat and, of course, drink their blood and treating them all like toys for them to play with at their leisure.
Beside these six leaders are their respective bodyguards similar to Genevieve's bodyguard, the Headless Noble.
Beside Anvari is the Blood Samurai, appearing as a white kimono wearing metallic skeleton wearing a wide brimmed metal hat and carrying dozens of katana with the one he is gripping over his shoulder has a blade as red as blood.
Beside Gulikan is the Knight Tyrant, appearing as a giant metallic knight in an azure-coloured armour and spikes all over with something that is floating over his shoulder, a helmet with some sort of crown and wielding two greatswords in hand.
Beside Erzsebet is the Golden Skull, appearing as a giant humanoid that is basically made of metal and gold alongside a skull-like face with two amber-like eyes on its sockets.
Beside Duchagne is the Wolf Lord, appearing as an armoured being wearing an armour with a wolf-like exterior such as the claws on both hands and feet while also wearing a red cape and carrying a spiked mace in hand.
Beside Xiao is the Metal General, appearing as an armoured humanoid that is more smooth and streamlined than most with a helmet that is designed with a spiked horn, bullet casings on his left shoulder and gripping a giant hammer in hand.
And finally, beside En is the Soul Hunter, appearing as the only one that showcase his face, described as very human to look at, appearing middle aged with black hair and having a shaved face while wearing a leather coat and some parts of the armour on his outfit.
And bar none the most notable is his glowing green right hand with some sort of unknown markings on it while also gripping a gun in hand.
All these six Leaders of the Daeva are now looking at their seven alongside their seventh member until finally, one of them, En, had finally spoke.
"Genevieve. Do you know why you are here?" En said to Genevieve in a calm and stoic tone.
Genevieve looked at En in a fearful manner and stuttered, "P-please, eldest sister. Y-you have to believe me. I didn't know that the Dark Haunter actually exist and if it wasn't for him, I-" Genevieve is interrupted she heard En tapping her finger and thought it may not be loud, Genevieve knows that her eldest sister doesn't want any excuses.
She then swallowed a lump into her throat and said, "I made a mistake. I underestimates the situation. I led many of our kind almost to an extinction. I..." Genevieve swallowed a lump again before saying, "I am willing to take responsibility for this mistake. Forgive me, my sisters. Please..." Genevieve said as kneeled down, begging on her knees as she prostrate herself.
En looked at Genevieve as she continued to prostrate herself before En sigh and said, "Alright, stop that, sister." With one bored command, Genevieve stopped prostrating herself as she looked at En in surprise and relief, "I'll look away from that incident since it isn't technically your fault. So stop that and have some dignity as one of the Leaders of that Daeva."
Genevieve looked glad as she smiled and said, "Of course, eldest sister. I will not make the same mistake ever again."
"Noted." En said in a lackadaisical tone.
"Sister..." Gulikan said with her piercing glare, "Are you seriously not punishing this maggot of her mistake?"
"We have far more important things to worry about. Such as the reappearance of the Dark Haunter, namely the host of the traitorous demon, Orthax." En explained it to her.
"Gee, tell us something we don't know." Anvari said as she sucked on her lollipop.
"Oh, what fun. What fun. It has been too long since we haven't had a challenge. I'm bored of just staying here and not having fun. It's so boring." Erzsebet whined in a childish manner.
"I know, right. Having fun with our livestock is fun and all but I miss the challenge of facing against the Dark Haunter. But after his anti-climatic death, it's not fun anymore." Duchagne said with a yawn.
"Totally." Erzsebet said in agreement to her.
Xiao just grunt in agreement as she inspect her blade before looking at En and said, "What is your plan then, En? Against the Dark Haunter?"
En just looked at Xiao before saying, "What do you think? Orthax was a traitor to his demonic brethren in service to our family. They seemed get a bit restless and they want for his betrayal, right?"
This made every sister looked at her and gasped in shock as Genevieve, "You want us to summon a demon? But En, you know the agreement we had with the-"
"And they'll understand. We summon just one demon and let it wreak havoc upon the livestock so long as it means of these new host of Orthax. And all of you know I can feel them, correct?" En said as she rubbed her face, "The anger. The hatred. The demons that are in service to us are very, very pissed. So..." En then stand up from her sit as she then said, "We shall let them out."
En then opened her mouth, revealing her fangs as her fellow sisters looked at her in anticipation.
En then takes a bite as blood dripped from her wrist and as it splattered on the floor, it started into some sort of magic circle with unknown languages as En started in some sort unknown language.
Nobody knows what is she saying and not even her fellow sisters understand her. But as En's eyes closed and continued her chant, she then started to open them, her eyes glowed before saying, "Hello, demon. It has been too long and I'm sorry that I meet you all in such a bad time. But time is irrelevant. I have found your traitorous brethren. And so, I'm gonna let one of you out but only if you kill Orthax which we are all in agreement. So, do we have a deal or not?"
As En said this, her blood started to flow profusely as it started to fly out of her body although she doesn't seemed to be any more affected by the literal blood loss before finally, it started to form as En looked at it straight in the eye, "Well, good to see you, Belial. What do you think?"
The demonic entity known as Belial can only make a growling noise before finally saying, "Where. Is. Orthax?"

Meanwhile, in a room somewhere....
Dozens of men in suits with some other nobles were all busy waiting in a room as one noble is busy calming his dog who is busy panting in heat from it all.
One of the nobles snarls and said, "Damn it, where the hell is Bach with the children he promised? I didn't send him out just for us to wait this long. When I get my hands on him-"
"In a moment now. We are waiting for him as much as my cute little dog would. Aren't you now?" One of the nobles said to the dog he is petting as it bark happily and yet, impatiently, "So, be patient. He'll come, alright. And when we do-"
"We're going to have fun. For we are Enthusiasts. And we can do whatever the fuck we want." The lead noble said with a sadistic glee as everyone smiles in enthusiasm and impatient anticipation.
Suddenly, they heard a knock on the door, realizing that Bach is finally coming, "Finally, he's here. Come on, boys. Let's greet our new toys." The noble point towards one of the bodyguards and said, "You two, open the door, would ya?"
The two bodyguards all nod as they walked towards the double door and was about to open them.
Unfortunately, this results in a shocking surprise when something crashed into the door, appearing to be the head of a large black furred wolf with red eyes as everyone can only screamed as Morbius opened its jaw and clamped upon the bodyguard.
The bodyguard screamed in pain and agony as his body slid across the floor as blood gushes out underneath as Morbius shakes him, resulting in the bodyguard's headless corpse thrown away as Morbius showed off the bodyguard's terrifying expression on its face before he bites.
Morbius then looked at his next meal and makes a loud howl as everybody screamed in terror.
"SOMEONE KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT NOW!" The noble said as everyone opened fire on Morbius. Unfortunately, it has little effect on Morbius' tough fur as giant wolf snarls and growls before lunging at somebody.
It then used it's claws to swipe at a group of bodyguards as their bodies are slice clean off while back handing another bodyguard away as his head swivels to the back, breaking it's neck as he falls.
Morbius then started to massacre the majority of the Enthusiasts and their bodyguards as some were now hiding under the table as the giant black wolf massacred them all.
Morbius then heard a barking sound and saw a dog is barking at him defiantly as it glare at him with slobber drool running amok. Only for Morbius to give the biggest howl ever close to its face as the dog finally realized it's predicament as it peed in fear.
Then it was bitten by Morbius as the giant black wolf shakes the dog in between it's mouth as it smash it everywhere it can smash itself into.
"No, my puppy. He would have get his first fuck!" It's owner cried in grief at seeing his pet being mauled to death before Morbius throw the dog hard on the floor and as the dog whimpered as it tried to escape despite it's injury, Morbius just stomp upon it with its big paw.
"NO!" The owner yelled in anguish until he was smacked in the head by the lead noble who looked at him angrily.
"Be quiet! If you don't shut up right here, right now, I swear I will-" He didn't have a moment to harshly reprimand him before someone had come out from Morbius.
The Dark Haunter had come out from Morbius' body as she gripped his revolver and is carrying a pile of meat in chains over her shoulder.
The Enthusiasts were all still hiding under the table before it got kicked by her as they saw the Dark Haunter in all her glory with his hood and mask and dark clothing and aura while hefting the injured figure with his neck chained to reveal the injured and mutilated-
"Bach!?" The lead noble called out to see that Bach has now become a mutilated mess as he is naked, his body a horrible mess of an injury, both of his arms and legs are shown to be sliced off as blood were dripping from it and he is choking on the chain clasped on its neck by the Dark Haunter who carried him over her shoulder.
"So, I guess you aren't lying after all, considering that some of these assholes called your name, huh?" The Dark Haunter said, still in her deep and masculine voice as she called out to Bach who can only groan in pain from the abuse he had suffered. The Dark Haunter just chuckled and said, "Heh, though so. Now then, where were we?"
The owner of the dog glared at the Dark Haunter, "HOW DARE YOU!? YOU WILL PAY FOR HURTING MY BEAUTIFUL CHILD! MY CUTE LITTLE DOG! WHO ARE YOU ATTACK US? WHEN THE POLICE HEAR ABOUT THIS, YOU SHALL BE-" The owner, unfortunately, is stopped when the Dark Haunter just rammed his fist into his stomach with the chain attached to it as the owner is coughing blood.
The Dark Haunter then pulled the chain from the back alongside Bach with it as the Dark Haunter wrapped the chain on his neck and he is being strangled by it before throwing him towards Morbius who both him and Bach looked at the giant wolf looking at them as they screamed in terror from being mauled and eaten to death.
The Dark Haunter then looked at the precedence before looking ahead to see the two remaining Enthusiasts and said, "Anyone else?" She said rhetorically.
One of the Enthusiasts, a fat and ugly one like a toad, tried to run away as fast as he could only to get shot by the Dark Haunter with the revolver in hand and just one shot results in him exploding into a pile of blood and gore.
The lead, noble and last remaining Enthusiast yelped in terror as he splattered by the blood over him before looking at the Dark Haunter as she stared at him with that unnerving mask of hers as Morbius is busy mopping up against the remaining bodyguards and other Enthusiasts.
The lone noble then looked at the Dark Haunter, feeling completely terrified and totally out of his wits as he stared at the inhumane being he is kneeling down on.
And all he can say is, "P-please... Have mercy on me... I-I... I know that what I did is wrong a-and I am willing to make up for anything... S-so... Please... Spare me... I-I'll tell you about the other members... I have contacts... S-see... I can help you.... Please?"
The Dark Haunter continue to stare at her next victim in a stoic and emotionless look but on the inside, Seryu is seething in anger as she looked at him as a vile scum that deserved only death.
She, however, just remained her cool and for all intents and purposes, just screw off this Enthusiast's proposition and just used her powers of memory seeking instead.
However, before she could do that, though...
"Seryu, watch out!" Orthax told her as the Dark Haunter looked surprised before she disappeared out of the way to avoid something that was about to kill her.
As the Dark Haunter reappeared to the side as she aimed her revolver at whoever just attacked her, the dust finally settles as the Dark Haunter looked at another new surprising entity in front of her.
It appears to be a giant humanoid with red skin and spiked shoulders, it's face being demonic to the core such as the horns, the white beard and the gaping mouth full of sharp teeth, large wings with studded claws, eyes showcasing intense madness, fury and rage and the veins on his body crackles with undeniable demonic energy.
The Dark Haunter looked at this, if her ability to sense stuff, demon in front of her, she started to speak, "Orthax, do you know this guy?" Seryu spoke to him telepathically but she doesn't get a response, "Orthax?"
The demon then looked below as it huffed and kicked off the corpse that had been turned into paste away from it. The demon then looked at the Dark Haunter before saying in its deep and demonic voice, "You..." It said, looking at her, "Are you the new host of Orthax?"
The Dark Haunter looked at the demon in confusion before saying, "What's it to ya?"
The demon just huffed before declaring, "I am Belial, the Demon Lord of Hell and I demand you relinquish the demon to me for his betrayal."
The Dark Haunter looked at the now named Belial before saying, "Yeah, what about no?"
Belial then looked at her in its maddening expression as he said, "Then pay with your blood mortal."
Belial suddenly disappeared from view, much to the Dark Haunter's confusion before she heard a sound and fired at the charging Belial. Unfortunately, the bullets had no effect and the Dark Haunter found herself get strangled by Belial grabbing her neck in one hand as he is choking her.
Belial relish at the death of the host of the traitor only to be interrupted by Morbius charging towards him and saving the Dark Haunter from being strangled.
"Seryu. Get up. Run. You cannot defeat him." Orthax said, begging her.
"Glad to see you can say something. Mind telling me who's your friend there?" The Dark Haunter sarcastically respond back.
"A Demon Lord, Seryu. One that I am desperate to finally be free from his clutches and rule. Now, come on, Seryu. Escape. Now." Orthax said, begging to her again.
"Screw that. I can handle this son of a bitch." The Dark Haunter said in a stubborn manner before she ducked, avoiding a thrown Morbius who crashed on a wall and the giant wolf whimpered from bloody injury.
"Koro..." The Dark Haunter said, running towards Morbius as she checked on it.
Morbius sports a lot of deep gashes and bite marks as Morbius whimpered like a kicked up puppy.
The Dark Haunter then looked at Belial is now strutting towards him as she gritted her teeth and said, "You're dead."
The Dark Haunter then summoned a minigun from her hand and opened fire on Belial, laying down barrages of demonic enhanced bullets upon Belial.
Unfortunately, it has no effect as Belial just continue to walk towards the bullets unimpeded as he is getting closer.
The Dark Haunter growl as she let her minigun disappear and summoned her giant sword and charge towards Belial, intending on decapitating him.
Belial, however, just stopped the blade before it could put a dent on him, much to her surprise before the Dark Haunter was pulled and get punched in the gut hard as she is thrown beside Morbius.
The Dark Haunter can only groan in pain as she experienced some serious agony as she tried to stand up as Belial laughs at her attempts.
"Foolish human. Your powers cannot compare to the true demonic power of a lord like me. Now, I ask again. Relinquish Orthax to me or die with your soul be devoured." Belial said, promising to the Dark Haunter.
The Dark Haunter then glared back at Belial before she said, "Don't screw with me, asshole. I have one last trick if I ever gone to a desperate situation. A full proof plan that will truly work."
"Oh? And what would that be?" Belial said to her.
The Dark Haunter just gives a smirk behind her mask as she will give Belial a surprise of his life.

Meanwhile, at the back entrance of the building....
"RUN AWAY!!" Yelled the Dark Haunter as she rides on Morbius, crashing themselves off the back door and hotfoot out of there while being chased by the enraged Belial.
"Get back here, coward." Belial said in rage as he flies towards her.
"Fuck you, demon." The Dark Haunter barked back as she fires her revolver again towards Belial, but whether he dodged or takes the shot, he continued his persistent chase to her.
The Dark Haunter is busy gripping the fur of Morbius as she tried to run away as fast possible from Belial as the Demon Lord is constantly crashing on the many walls of the alleyway as he tried to reach her.
As the chase continues, the Dark Haunter couldn't stop making a comment, "Orthax, remind me again who the Hell is this guy?" When she doesn't get a response, the Dark Haunter grunts in frustration and said, "Orthax, for the love of it all. Just fucking tell me already."
The Dark Haunter could feel Orthax sighing before saying, "Belial is one of the many Demon Lords of Hell. Not to the extent like Asmodeus but nevertheless a potent one. And remember the meeting with those Vampires?"
"Hard not to forget." The Dark Haunter remarked.
"Belial is the cause behind the vampire's existence in the Empire." Orthax said which made the Dark Haunter widened her eyes in alarm, "Through whatever ritual that allows those former mortals to summoned a Demon Lord through numerous and offerings, Belial had granted them the power and immortality in exchange for both an insatiable thirst and hunger which they accept wholeheartedly. It is because of him that the Seven Lords of the Daeva and the Vampiric Courts exist."
The Dark Haunter continued to look shocked at the revelation before putting that aside and said, "Okay, fine. That is surprising and all but remind me again what is his beef with you? What the hell did you to make him pissed?"
"..... I betrayed him." Orthax said.
"Need to be specific there." The Dark Haunter remarked.
"I betrayed him by siding with humanity." Orthax said, much to the Dark Haunter's surprise, "I am intrigued by you humans because of how pure hatred and your drive for revenge. When I first made your father as the host of my power, I regret nothing as I let him kill your fellow humans to become a succulent treat to me. It was fun before his demise. And now, I can finally taste once again through you." Orthax said to her in a maniacal manner.
'Okay, glad to see that he has reasons for that even if it is disturbing.' Seryu thought.
"I am a demon. What do you think?" Orthax remarked to her.
"Sorry..." The Dark Haunter said before ducking down to avoid a swipe from Belial as he almost clawed her as she and Morbius continue to run as fast as they can, "So, nothing can beat Belial, huh?"
"Unfortunately, yes..." Orthax admittedly, "I am a demon but I am just lowly while he is a Demon Lord. None of our weapons and powers can defeat. And it was tailored against humanity. Not our kind."
"Well, in that case, I'm gonna tell you this..." She said, "When we are close to the exit of the alleyway, I want you to turn us back to normal this instant."
"WHAT!? What in the Nine Hells are you thinking? If you can't defeat Belial as the Dark Haunter, what makes you think you can defeat him as a mortal?" Orthax said in shock.
"JUST TRUST ME!" The Dark Haunter yelled out as she tried to escape from Belial's persistent chase as Morbius carried the Dark Haunter and jump from wall to wall or avoid another strike until finally, they reached to the light of the exit.
"NOW!" The Dark Haunter said as smoke started to form on her and Morbius.

Meanwhile, outside of the alleyway as the people are walking and minding their own business...
They all looked in surprise as someone is thrown from the alleyway and hit the pavement as everyone looked at her in worry.
Seryu is grunting and grasping for breath as she hold tightly to Koro who whimpered at its master's well-being.
Before the citizens would reach to her and tried to help her, they all meet Belial coming out of the alleyway and everyone ran away in fear from the sight of a literal demon coming out.
Belial looked at Seryu as she stared defiantly at him which made the Demon Lord chuckle, "So, this is your new host, Orthax? A little child?"
This offends Seryu and said, "Hey, I'm seventeen, asshole."
This made Belial just chuckle in amusement before saying, "I can smell the sins from you, mortal. The self-righteousness. The hypocrisy. The Murder. The Lies. The inconsolable lust for violence. Foolish mortal. You think you can redeem yourself from the many sins you have committed. Foolishness. Nothing can ever wipe away the sins of your actions."
Seryu can only look down, remaining unresponsive before once again glaring at Belial and said, "Is that the best you can do? I heard much cornier lines better than some cliche stupid asshole like you. And by the way..." Seryu gives a grin as she gives him the finger and said, "Fuck you, you giant ketchup bottle asshole."
Belial has an expression of shock on his face at what Seryu had just called him. Then he trembled in anger as he yelled, "DIE MORTAL!" He said as he raised his hands, readying his claws and tried to kill her as Seryu prepared for the inevitable.
Fortunately, a mysterious glowing circle appeared around the Demon Lord and Belial started to feel like gravity had just pushed him down as he crashed onto the floor with a deafening crash.
Seryu looked at the scene with astonishment as she then saw a platoon of Kaiserliche Militarum are coming about and surrounding the Demon Lord with one is approaching slowly and methodically.
He appears to be a figure dressed in white robes with golden embroidery with his hood pulled up and a white mask that covers his face while what he is holding is a book as it keep on flipping pages after pages as something is glowing inside of it.
"Officer?" Seryu looked at a Militarum member as he inspects her as he said, "Are you alright?"
Seryu can only look at him and said, "Y-yeah. I'm alright. Thank you."
"Not a problem. Leave this to both us and the Kaiserliche Librarian to handle the demon." The Militarum member said to her as Seryu is led out of the situation as they handled Belial.
Belial is busy snarling and growling as he tried to stand up from the magic that is holding him down. Growling in anger, he smashed his fist, resulting in the ground quake.
"The demon is of lord status. The banishment will be very difficult." The Librarian stated as his voice is strained with difficulty.
"Meaning that your magic can't handle it? Get to it." The Militarum said to him as the Librarian showcase his eyes starting to shift in colour.
As Belial continue on its feral state, the Demon Lord suffers from something that made him screamed in pain and glitched up before the rest of the Militarum opened fire upon the Demon Lord, shooting them with their rifles as Belial's form is starting to sizzle out.
As the circle is finally done, Belial is trying to stand up and defiantly glare at one of the Militarum, roaring at him before all he can see is the barrel of his rifle aiming at his head and all that the Demon Lord can feel is pain.

"Agghhh, that hurt. And I thought my butt feeling sore is the worst thing possible." Seryu said, seething in pain as she gets herself into a tub of hot water and after enduring the pain, she sigh in relaxation as she calms herself down on the tub while Koro is busy bathing himself on a bucket of hot water.
After her encounter with the Demon Lord Belial, Seryu then take this opportunity to go home and rest herself after almost surviving an encounter with a demon.
As Seryu sigh in relief and relaxation, the annoying raspy interrupted her tranquility, "I hope that you would do this kind of stupidity again, Seryu Ubiquitous?" Orthax said as the dark shadowy phantom had appeared before her, "If anyone, especially the Kaiserliche, ever noticed you and your involvement with a demon, we will-"
"Would you calm down? It's all and good, okay? So, just be quite and enjoy this relaxing time." Seryu said as purred in pure bliss.
"The only thing I could find tranquil is the eternity of hunting down sinners and tormenting them at every turn. That is as far as how I 'relax'." Orthax empathise the word, much to Seryu's chagrin as she rolled her eyes.
As Seryu continue on her tranquility, she can't help but think about something, "Hey, Orthax?"
"What is it?" Orthax said in irritation.
Seryu couldn't help but ask, "What was.... What was my father like?"
Orthax can only scoff and said, "If you want me to be honest, I tell you. Your father is nothing more than an annoying bleeding heart who refused to let me stray him to a much beneficial way because as he said, 'I am better than that' and always arguing to me to control myself and not let the 'innocent' die in the way. Honestly, he is an annoying, insufferable, unbearable-"
"And also my dad..." Seryu said with chuckle, "I'm glad to hear that. Which means that... that my second chance in life won't be for nothing." She said with a glad smile.
Orthax just rolled his eyes before disappearing from Seryu's view in annoyance.
As Seryu then sink herself to the hot water and breathe out a sigh of relief, a knock is heard and all she can do is groan in annoyance.
Meanwhile, outside the house in the middle of the night...
A lone soldier of the Empire just sigh as he prepared himself in delivering the news to the Empire's most homicidal, crazy, insane and psychopathic member with an equally volatile Teigu in tow, Seryu Ubiquitous.
He remembered that she is the daughter of the much cooler, more deeply respected and heavily admired Amadeus Ubiquitous. It just pains him to see that his legacy is stained by a brainwashed lunatic like this crazy girl.
And shudder on what will happen if he said something wrong in front of her. But before he could think about his overall situation, the door finally opened and out came Seryu Ubiquitous.
And he blushed at the sight of the girl.
With her brunette hair wet and wearing a towel that accentuated her figure, Seryu is maybe crazy but she is drop dead gorgeous.
"What?" Seryu said, looking at the soldier in annoyance.
"Eh... Eh... Eh.... Uhm... Ehhh..." The soldier can barely form a word as he continue to stare at a gorgeous sight in front of him.
"Hey, eyes up here, pervert." Seryu said, glaring at the soldier in even more annoyance.
"W-what? Oh, right..." The soldier cleared his throat and said, "A letter for you, Seryu Ubiquitous. It is of utmost importance and it is from the great and powerful-"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. So this letter?" Seryu said in an uncaring tone, much to the soldier's surprise.
"Uh, right..." The soldier said before showing him the letter, "Here it is."
"Great. Good night or whatever." Seryu said as she inside her house and close the door.
"Yeah, good-" The door closed right in front of him, "-night. Weird. I thought she was a lot more cheerful."
Whether Seryu heard that or not, she then looked at the letter as she stare at the content on the piece of paper. All the while, Orthax appears beside her and said, "Well, what does it say?"
Seryu stopped reading before saying, "I.... I guess the situation is going to get complicated. And I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing."

Well, here it is. Another chapter done starring the redemption of Seryu Ubiquitous and her character arc or something like that.
That aside, do you guys want Syura to get revived? It isn't because I have any love for the guy. It's because I have other ideas that could actually make his life suck so bad and while I would have wanted to make Honest's life suck, I don't intend in giving the guy anymore screen time than it is possible.
