Ollie pov: We decided to split up; some of us would look for Matsuri-senpai, and the other part would look for Suisei-senpai.
"Reine, this is where she is," I said.
"This is a junkyard...." Reine groaned
"Why is Matsuri-senpai here?" Any asked
"Fair point," I said.
"Look, Ollie, I'll become filthy if I walk in there, so I'll see you later." Reine stated
I grabbed her and yanked her back to me, saying, "No, you stay here!" I said
"I want to be with Iofi... Risu-senpai groaned
"Lighten up, you have us!" Ollie said
"That doesn't help." Risu-senpai sighed
"Why weren't they all great?" Anya said.
"You and Reine are great." Risu-senpai said
"Wow, are you degrading me?" I asked
"I'm not," Risu-senpai said.
"You clearly are," I said.
"Well, I want to be with Moona and Iofi." Risu-senpai stated
"You love them so much, huh?" I asked
"I'm dating one of them...." Risu-senpai said
"Wait, since when!?" I asked
"You are annoying Ollie," Risu-senpai said.
"Okay, why are you saying that?" I asked
"Because you didn't know!" Risu-senpai said
"Guys, let's just go inside and look for Matsuri-senpai," Reine said.
We all walked inside and decided to split up. We'd be on our own for now if we need help, we just need to scream Apex. The safe word was my idea.
I looked around, and I suddenly saw something move in the corner of my eye. "What is that?" I wondered
I went to see what that was, but when I looked around the corner, it was gone. I could hear rustling around though, so I worried a little bit.
"This place is gross..." I said
"Eeeeeek!" I heard Reine screech in horror.
"What!?" I asked, running towards where she was.
"I saw a rat!" Reine shrieked
"It's just a rat," I said.
"Don't say that, Ollie, it's scary!" Reine said
I guess that's true, but Bae is also a rat, and she's cute. However, I was disgusted as soon as the amount grew.
"Gross!" I hissed as I hissed as I hid behind Reine
"I thought they were cute," Reine said teasingly.
"I'm dead. Those rats will eat me alive. I just know it!" I screamed
"Ollie, don't worry, no one on this planet wants to eat you," Reine said.
"Not even you!" I cried
"Uhm, well, in a different way, yes," Reine said.
Then I began to have a thought: if Bae is a rat, then why is she humanoid? I don't see the other rats being bipedal; that's odd.
Bae is a weird girl after all, and honestly I can't tell if she actually is a rat because she is just odd. The embodiment of chaos is weird; that isn't odd, but the fact that she isn't chaotic is.
Why is she in chaos when everyone else is? It doesn't make any sense.
"What the hell are you thinking about, Ollie?" Reine asked
"Nothing just Bae-I mean Matsuri-senpai!" I shouted
"Remember, if we fail, Mumei is going to put us in the usual room, although I'll be fine." Reine laughed
"You are her sister!" I yelled
"Well, in theory, you are too," Reine pointed out.
I guess if she puts it like that, then my excuse isn't good whatsoever, but there clearly is bias there.
"Wait isn't the usual room Kiara-senpai's thing why is Mumei using it?" I asked
"Because it's a good threatening tactic," Reine stated.
That was true. I was already shivering just hearing the name of the usual room.
"Wait, weren't there more people with us?" I asked
"Yeah, but they had other stuff to do," Reine laughed.
"You are only saying that because Subaru-senpai was among them!" I shouted
"Oh, am I?" Reine said sarcastically.
"It's written all over your damn face!" I hissed
"I have no clue what you're talking about, Ollie." Reine giggled
"You are a filthy snake!" I said
"Oh am I? "I always thought I was a peacock, though, well, the more you know, the more I guess." She sighed
"You know what I meant!" I shouted
"Do I, though?" She asked
"You are making this so difficult!" I Said
"That doesn't sound like you're looking..." Reine said
"Eh....." I said
Reine pulled out a feather blade and poked me with it.
"Ollie go....." Reine said
"Alright! "But can I look with you, please. " I asked out of fear.
"Yeah, you just don't get me, okay, honey?" Reine asked
"Yeah, I won't, I promise!" I said
"Good, so I pretty much looked all over here, so we need to look around over there," Reine said, pointing to an old, worn-out shed.
"I'm not going in there. What if there is a ghost?" I asked
"No such thing, I'm afraid," Reine said.
"We met one!" Ollie said
"True, but they're as real as zombies," Reine said.
"W-what? I'm not a zombie!" I cried
"Oh yeah, I'm awful at this, aren't I?" Reine teased
"You are doing this on purpose!" I said
"That is possible," Reine said.
"Why are you like this...?" I asked.
"Like what?" Reine questioned
"Don't worry about it," I sighed.
"Ollie, don't be mean to me now." Reine said her voice sounded really cute, so I felt bad for calling her a snake earlier.
"We are going in the shed," Reine said.
"Why?" I asked.
"We need to look, and it looks like people were living over there," Reine said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes," Reine said.
That was even more of a reason as to why I didn't want to go over there. Besides, if someone was living there, what were the chances it was Matsuri-senpai? Actually, given the circumstances, it's pretty damn likely it is Matsuri-senpai.
I really didn't want to go near there, though it looked dangerous.
"Ollie, I'm going to open the door." Reine stated
"Wait Reine!" I yelled, but it was too late. She opened the door.
"See, Ollie, no one is there," Reine said.
Well, that was unexpected, for sure.
