"You have seen what?"
That is what Najenda had said about the group returning from their mission.
"Yes, boss. We just saw what appears to be monsters... I don't know if they're Danger Beasts or not... Just suddenly during a public execution and rampage everyone there..." Mine explained, clearly being shocked the situation.
Najenda light up her cigarette as she contemplate on the news.
"This is a very grave news. Whoever have got these creatures, whether they are Danger Beasts or not, into the Capital is very grave indeed. Question on whether the Empire is a very bad place to live or not, there is no denying that they keep the people safe, however you called it that, and keep the Danger Beasts away." Najenda explained, "So to see that they are here is a very troubling news."
"Is it possible that there are nobles who had captured a Danger Beasts and just underestimate it before it free themselves from their captivity?" Lubbock said.
"No, because as corrupt as the Empire are, they would never let a Danger Beasts into their Capital. It is too dangerous and I can't believe I am about to say this, even Honest of all people isn't that stupid enough to take any Danger Beasts into the Capital." Najenda explained, "So, are there anymore news?"
Najenda then saw Tatsumi raised his hand up, "Yes, Tatsumi."
"Well.... Uhm... I did saw one of the creatures just killed people. Some of which looked like it is a really awful way to go that I don't think they're Danger Beasts. I mean, they looked less beast-like than what I know..." Tatsumi said, being repulsed by the memory of his victims being killed horribly, "But... I just saw them rescued people from the cross?"
"What?" Najenda simply said, "You need to tell me that these things rescued people from a public execution?"
"I cannot believe I am about to say this but the newbie is right..." Tatsumi give a glare at Mine at being called, 'a newbie', "...but I saw them rescued people from those that were nailed on a cross and throw them into a portal or something."
"A WHAT!?" All of Night Raid, minus those who are at the scene, Akame who just had a much more calmer expression and Thirteenth, who is just minding his own business, exclaimed together.
"THESE THINGS CREATE PORTALS!?" Lubbock exclaimed in shock.
"Does that mean they can even appear in our base too?" Sheele said, sounding frightened.
As she said this, everyone looked around in terror at the possibility that one of those things will appear at their base without Lubbock noticing them.
The only one that hardly fears them is Thirteenth, who just crossed his arms and just scoffed, 'So, it seems that master had finally sent the Hell Stalkers to the Capital. Night Raid shouldn't worry about it. They are under the control of the Supreme Lord of the Nine Hells and through his wisdom, Night Raid will be spared.' He thought.
"Alright, enough. We will handle these new creatures later. Right now, we have a mission to complete." Najenda said before showing the picture of a man, "These is Iokal, a distant relative of the prime minister Honest. Using his connection, he had kidnapped any young woman and even beat them to death. The guards with him are also guilty so it is imperative that the target must die. Understand."
"Yes, boss." All of Night Raid said with Thirteenth just gives a grunt of affirmation.

Finally on their mission, Tatsumi showed himself sitting on a tree with a binocular on his eyes, looking through Iokal's mansion.
"So that's the place, huh?" He said. "Security looks really tight."
Mine is sitting on a branch next to him, holding her weapon on her lap as she then looked up towards the mansion. "I won't be able to hit him from this distance." She said. "I'll have to wait until he gets out of the compound to strike."
"And then it's my turn after the shooting, right?" Tatsumi said, pumping his fist. "Leave it to me!"
"Hmph. Don't get your hopes up." Mine snorted as she hold her Pumpkin in a shooting position.
Tatsumi stared at Mine as she was completely still as he stare in awe at the complete concentration and will she had shown in her eyes.
"He's coming out." She suddenly said.
Tatsumi fumbled his binocular and looked back at the mansion. Sure enough, there is Iokal who is strutting around without a care in the world. And he came out with a bunch of women surrounding him, making it a difficult shot.
"You can't shoot now, it's too risky!"
"Doesn't matter." Mine responded, aiming her weapon.
Tatsumi then lowered his binoculars as he looked at her in shock. "Don't tell me... you're going to hurt innocent bystanders!"
A loud gunshot is heard as Mine is blasted right towards the target with ease, killing Iokal without hurting any of the innocent bystanders.
Tatsumi stared in shock at what Mine just did while Mine just beaming with pride.
"I am a genius sniper, right?" Mine said, giving a victorious smirk to Tatsumi who's jaw is still open.

The guards who were guarding Iokal have all run out into the forest to find Iokal's killer. Not out of loyalty but hell will be payed in full if the prime minister have heard of his distant cousin's death.
"We must kill them!" One of them yelled to his comrades. "If we don't, the prime minister will-AAAAGGGGGGHHHHH!"
He felt only on his stomach area before he was then carried up as Thirteenth appeared from the shadows as he dangled the guard on his scythe.
"Be fortunate that you are all are not worth of my time." Thirteenth said as the corpse turned into a molten black sludge as it seeped upon his body.
Thirteenth then lowered his weapon as he looked at the remaining Night Raid that are nearby, "Take care of them however you please. And try not to damage them."
"Whatever, jackass." Leone said sardonically before she clamped her fist together in anticipation as Night Raid are killing the remaining guards.
However, Thirteenth has noticed something, 'Didn't the hussy say that there were only five. Where's the other one?' Thirteenth thought before he shake his head, 'Doesn't matter. These mortals can handle some weaklings like them. But...' Thirteenth suddenly felt something as he looked to the side, 'I wonder what is this feeling I felt from over there?'

"Oh, ow!"
"What? What's wrong?"
Tatsumi and Mine were walking on a side route as as they were walking, Mine just walked over some large roots that resulted in her crying out.
"I got a small splinter." She said, sucking her thumb to stop the bleeding. "No need to worry."
Tatsumi would have fallen over in exasperation, if it wasn't for the large uncomfortable roots on the ground. He decided to change the subject and ask if their pursuers were taken out already. However, Mine deduced it probably wouldn't be so easy, as the soldiers had been trained in one of the best martial arts temple in the empire.
The Imperial Fists, they are called.
But then the subject changed once again, as Mine decided to tell Tatsumi about her past.
Turns out, Mine was born on the western border of the empire, and half of her heritage was foreign. She was ridiculed and ostracized thanks to her mixed blood. It seemed that her childhood of despair would only lead to more pain.
That was not the case, thankfully. As she joined the Revolutionary Army to join the fight, and create a new country with a new order, to stamp out any discrimination. She refused to let anyone suffer the way she did.
Tatsumi was impressed... And that image was ruined the second she mentioned that with all the effort she put into it, she would live like a celebrity.
They walked in silence until they came into a clearing with a single tree. The meeting place.
"I suppose that mean the mission is accomplished." Mine said.
"Not yet." Tatsumi said with a grin. "You're still on a mission until the minute you give the report!"
Mine laughed. "Those were Akame's words, right?"
She didn't get a response, as Tatsumi's expression shifted and he pushed her to the side with a shout. Before she could ask what happened, she saw Tatsumi go skidding into the dirt.
Mine grit her teeth and looked at their attacker. It was the assistant instructor from the martial arts temple. With a confidant grin, she aimed her weapon and fired. But to her surprise, he dodged all of the shots before rushing in front of her.
"I'm bringing you to the Prime Minister alive!" He declared. "I hope you're prepared!"
"Don't get too cocky!" Mine said.
The assistant instructor heard footsteps and whipped around to block an aerial sword strike from Tatsumi. But to his surprise, Tatsumi dropped his grip and dropped down to grab him by the waist.
"This little shit!" He muttered.
"Now, Mine!" Tatsumi yelled. "Shoot!"
"Tatsumi..." Mine said with sadness in her voice. "To give your life for me..."
"I'm not sacrificing myself, idiot!" He yelled in irritation. "Quit the crocodile tears!"
He grinned at her. "You said you're a genius sniper, right? I'll put my faith in you!"
"Let go of me!" The assistant instructor said, striking Tatsumi on the head, as the latter yelled at Mine to hurry.
"Cocky newbie." Mine muttered, aiming her weapon. "I'll do as you like!"
"Oh, fu-!"
As Mine fired her Pumpkin, it had blasted through the man's chest. He only stood for only a moment before he slumped out of Tatsumi's grip into the ground.
Tatsumi was on his knees as he is breathing heavily as Mine is standing over him. "Well, it seems you have a little courage." She complimented. "I can't help but be a little impres-"
Mine winced as she held her forehead from Tatsumi's flick. "Say what you want, but that was too damn close."
He angrily pointed at the smoking top of his head. "Look at what you almost did!"
They began to argue, shouting insults at each other. Seemed like a happy mission result.

Whereas Night Raid were all busy with their task at hand, Thirteenth sensed something from the horizon and try to investigate on where this feeling comes from.
Suddenly, as he walked over to where he had sensed something, he gripped his scythe tight and spin his weapon around and around to disperse the attack.
"Well, well, well. To think that there is a Death Elemental in this part of the Empire? When masters says that you are here, I couldn't believe it. Woe and behold. You really do exist." A voice that seemed deep and raspy is heard as someone comes out from the side of trees as Thirteenth looked at the being before him.
He looked to be a man dressed in a black jacket with white and blue linings as well as wearing a black shirt and trousers. His face however, is hidden beneath a white mask of a demonic Oni and the most noteworthy however is that on of his hands is holding a glowing blue flame.
The figure chuckled malevolently as he stare at Thirteenth, "A long away from home, aren't you, you grim reaper wannabe?"
Thirteenth just scoffed at the being accusation as he said, "That depends. Why is a Life Elemental even doing here?"
"What do you think? I have a job to do with the Empire and I am here to keep it safe." The Life Elemental said to him.
"Safe? You call the oppression of the innocent safe? I maybe death itself but I thought a Life Elemental actually cared about life. Being an antithesis to me. Then again, I would hardly care about the humans anyway so why bother?" Thirteenth spoke to the Life Elemental.
"Oh, of course you don't care. And please, contrary to what I am saying, I am far from loyal to the Empire. I am just here to keep the worthy safe in my lord's domain and all it have to do is the sacrifice of the many unworthy for Edenia to finally prosper. And I am not going to let you cut off it's supply." The being explained.
"So, you are using the suffering of others to fuel your master's domain of prosperity? My my. And here I thought I am evil." Thirteenth said, actually feeling disgusted by what the being did, "Regardless, ready yourself, Life Elemental. I am Thirteenth of Asmodeus, the Supreme Lord of Hell's bringer of death and it is time to show you the taste of death itself." Thirteenth said as he ready his scythe.
"Ooohhh, how terrifying. I would rather be scared were it not for how uncreative your boasting is. And as for me..." The being then enflamed both his hands and feet in blue flames as he takes a martial stance, "I am Equalizer and I will show you that there are fates much worse than death." Equalizer introduced himself as he takes a fighting stance.
Thirteenth and Equalizer looked at each other as they are readying themselves before, after a whole second, they charge against each other.
Thirteenth and Equalizer then fight against each other in equal footing as Thirteenth's fast swing of his scythe against Equalizer is being blocked and parried by him with his martial art skills.
Thirteenth then jump back to take a swing but Equalizer bend his back backwards to avoid the swing before he yelled...
"Life Ender: Turn Undead."
...a magic circle appeared and Equalizer shot a beam of light from his palm towards Thirteenth.
Thirteenth just spin his scythe around to disperse the magic beam before he conjured up a portal in front of him for Thirteenth to punch through as he said...
"Death Bringer: Touch of Rot."
Suddenly, a large magic circle appeared above him and as a giant arm comes out, all coated in black sludge as it is about to punch Equalizer.
Equalizer just smashed his fist together as he chanted...
"Life Ender: Healing Hands."
...and punch the hand with all his might, even hearing it's bone crack as Thirteenth screamed and pulled his fist back, seeing it sizzled and showcasing that it has been melted off to reveal his skeletal hand.
"What do you expect?" Equalizer said mockingly to the Death Elemental as Thirteenth stare at him in anger as he charge forth.
Equalizer then put his hands on the ground and said...
"Life Ender: Nature's Call."
....which resulted in vines started to come and are charging towards Thirteenth. Thirteenth just said...
"Pestilence."
And the undead horse finally appeared from the shadows as Thirteenth jumps on it, riding it and busy cutting away all of the vines and rotting everything in his way.
Thirteenth then saw Equalizer and ready his scythe to slash him. Only for Equalizer to ready his attack and punch on the ground, resulting in Thirteenth falling from his horse and crashed on the ground.
Thirteenth shake his head from the crash before looking Equalizer about to approach him as Thirteenth ready himself.
Suddenly, Pestilence finally stands and charge towards Equalizer only for him to back kick as Pestilence neigh and falls to the ground, being killed by the sting of a holy empowered kick as it disappeared in a black smoke.
Thirteenth looked at it in shock before he takes off his mask to show his exposed half-skull like face before taking off all his costume to reveal his undead form.
"I WILL KILL YOU FOR THAT!" He yelled, no longer having the reverberation of his tone.
Thirteenth then started conjure up his monsters from the shadows as his army of zombies, gigantic scorpions, a pack of hounds, giant spiders and a giant clump of bodies started to appear behind Thirteenth as they roared and jeered at Equalizer.
Equalizer looked surprised that Thirteenth suddenly summoned a large army of undead in front of him before he steady himself as he said, "You asked for this." Equalizer said before his body is being enveloped in a blue light as Thirteenth is ready to grind the Life Elemental to pieces with his army.
Only for Equalizer to suddenly stop as he put his finger on his ear. Equalizer started to nod at something before he takes it out, "I apologize for this but my master requested me to inform him of you and your Demon Emperor. Goodbye."
Thirteenth watched Equalizer is about to escape, "KILL HIM! LET NOTHING ESCAPE FROM MY WRATH!"
Thirteenth ordered as the zombie horde charge towards Equalizer with great menace.
Equalizer then started to chant...
"Life Ender: Miraculous Incoming."
As a huge wave of light energy burst forth from Equalizer which resulted in all the zombie horde being killed by the wave.
Thirteenth looked in shock before he plant the end of his scythe on the ground, which resulted in Thirteenth being shielded from the wave.
As the energy wave are finally done, Thirteenth looked around as he now sees that all his zombies are all gone and worst of all, the vegetation have grown tremendously, full of tall grass and flowers everywhere.
Thirteenth looked at the scene in disgust before he thought about something, 'The Demon Emperor must know of this. And if he command me to tell my new allies about this Equalizer person, then I shall.' Thirteenth thought as he put his mask and costume on and return back to his allies.

A magic spell to manipulate the very vegetation to the caster's bidding, used to ensnare or to damage. Being a Life Elemental, can boost to be able to control even trees and create a golem of vegetation.
• Life Ender - Miraculous Incoming:
A magic spell that can result in an explosion of healing wave around the area, healing anyone and killing undead. Being a Life Elemental has the spell being boosted to be turned into a nuclear one.
