"Where's mommy?" He pouts

"She's working today baby boy, she'll be home for dinner,"

"Yay!" He claps

We finish class and I go back to my office

"Hey mama," Lexi says coming in

"Hey Lexi," I say "how's school going?"

"Fine, I'm in your class next period,"

"What do we have?"

"The football course,"

"Right,"

"Matty, wanna come sit with TJ and I for lunch?" She asks

"Mama?"

"You can go buddy,"

"No mama come?" He asks

"Do you mind Lex? Or would you rather me not,"

"Of course I don't mind," she laughs

I grab my lunch and walk with Lex to the cafeteria

"He seems sad today," Lex says "usually he doesn't mind eating with us,"

"He misses mommy, Right Mateo?"

"Mommy come home?" He asks

"By dinner," I laugh

"Oh okay,"

We sit and talk for a while before the nasty ass history teachers walks by.

"Mrs. Topaz,"

"Coach Topaz," I correct

"Having a little family lunch?"

"Mateo was sad earlier so it's better we eat out here and get some of his energy out," I sigh "can I help you?"

"Where's the wife?"

"Mommy woking," Mateo says

"She's in the city for the day," I say "can I help you?"

"Drinks tonight Topaz? I have some ideas for the team,"

"I don't tell you how to teach history, don't tell me how to coach my team,"

"You do tell me how to teach actually,"

"I asked you not to point out Mia as much, she has social anxiety," I sigh "I will not being going out for drinks with you,"

"WHY THE HELL NOT?" He yells

Mateo starts crying and I sigh

"Alexis watch your other siblings around him please," I whisper getting up and leaving the cafeteria

He's a typical douche. Like thinks women should bow to men, thinks bisexuality is a phase.

"Shh, shh," I coo bouncing Mateo "I know he scared you buddy,"

"Coach Topaz," he says following me

"Leave me alone," I say "my son is upset,"

"Mama I wanna see Eggie and Mommy,"

"I know baby boy," I say pushing through the teacher "lets go,"

I get to my office and Reggie looks at me confused

"The history teacher yelled at me in front of Mateo and he got upset,"

"Eggie," he cries
