Cheryl's POV
We just landed in Hawaii and I love it here.
"Mama pwease baw?" Lexi asks while pulling Toni's hair
"Of course sweetheart," Toni laughs getting a ball out of the bag
We all go down stairs and play on a little piece of grass.
"Good throw baby, you getting so much stronger," Toni says passing the ball back to her
Lexi gets bored eventually so we just sit in the shade and people watch as she crawls around
"You like it here babe?" I ask
"Ya, I do," she sighs "very warm,"
"You think you guys can win?" I ask
"OK has a great team but we have their playbook, CALI copied all of the Stanford book, and our biggest rival Illinois isn't amazing so hopefully we can pull it out," she sighs "then I can pop a baby out in Riverdale and go to Canada not looking like a balloon.
"You literally barely gained weight, I'm sure you'll have a six pack again- probably before going to Canada,"
"Are you going to come to Canada?"
"Well if you make it I will think about it, it depends how good the little one is," she sighs "plus newborns hate planes,"
"I was thinking road trip," she says
"That would be a lot of fun,"
We decide to go up and nap for a while.
"I hate that this kid never wants me to sleep," she laughs
"I kinda wish we found out the gender," I sigh "would've made shopping easier,"
She laughs and I cuddle into her side.
There's a knock at the door and I groan.
"I'll get it babe," she says standing up
She gets to the door leading to the main area of our room and stops.
"Doesn't this feel all too familiar?" She whispers
"What babe?"
"I say I'll get it, I assume it's reggie and I'm pregnant while opening a door at Nationals,"
"Okay, you lay down, your anxiety is way to high for the baby right now, I'll get it," I say
She nods and I go back i the door.
It's Reggie and RJ.
"Where's T?"
"Too anxious to be out and about right now, why?"
"We had a meeting and she said to meet her up here,"
"Oh come in, she just didn't want to answer the door,"
"Shit, sorry Cher," Reggie says
"It's alright Reggie, she's getting better. Pregnancy isn't helping," I sigh
I walk into the bedroom
"Hey baby, Reggie and RJ say you have a meeting?"
"Oh shit ya, it's no too important- you can stay in there with us,"
"Okay,"
She groans standing up and does her meeting with the boys.
It's super boring.
I hear Lexi crying so I go get her.
"Hey sweetheart, hey baby," I say picking her up to calm her down "what's wrong?"
She continues to wail
"Do you wanna eat? Ya? Are you hungry?"
She stops crying and nods.
"Okay, why don't we put your bathing suit on too and we can go swimming?"
"With mama?" She asks
"We'll ask her okay sweetheart?"
She nods and rubs her eyes
We go out to the main area and I sit beside Toni.
"Me and Lexi were about to get some food and maybe go for a swim, wanna come?"
"Boys wanna go beachside?" She asks
They nod and she changes into shorts and a light see through sweater. Me and Lexi change and we head out
"I'm not going to swim though," she says
"That's okay, I'll swim with her," I laugh
We eat quickly and then find some chairs near the pool
"Mama, ill I see a daphin?" Lexi asks
"No buggy, we aren't going to see any dolphins today. Maybe another day?"
"Fwish?"
"Maybe after we'll go to the ocean sweetheart,"
"Okay m-mommy," She says
"You're a cutie aren't you sweetie?" Toni asks kissing her cheek
We go in the pool while they finish their meeting.
Reggie and RJ must go meet the girls because Toni walks over and takes off her leg so she can put her feet in the pool.
"Mama!" Lexi says pointing at her
"Baby you wanna swim towards mama?"
She nods and I let her swim 'by herself' while I literally guide her and keep her head above water.
"Mama! All awone!" She says grabbing Toni's full leg
"All alone? Way to go baby," Toni laughs
"Mommy oh no!" She says pointing to Toni's half leg "all gone!"
"Is mama's leg all gone?"
She nods and looks at it again
"Mama Okay?" She asks
"I'm okay sweetie," she laughs "I'm alright,"
"Oh," she says
She's seen Toni without her leg before but it gets her confused every time.
"Mama daphin?" She pouts
"Dolphin?" Toni laughs "where sweetie?"
"No no babe, she wants you to take her to see a dolphin,"
"Oh sweetie we'll see dolphins maybe when we go to Florida," she laughs
"Floda now?"
"We aren't going to Florida right now you monster," Toni laughs
We get out of the pool and Toni dries Lexi and leaves the towel on her head.
"Mama I'm unda hewre," Lexi says hitting the towel
"I found you," Toni laughs pulling the blanket
"Siwy Mama," Lex laughs
Toni picks her up and we go to the lobby.
"Hey guys, we were just looking for you," Liv says hugging me
"We just got out of the pool," I say "right Lexi,"
"Ya, and mama has leg awl gone and I see daphins in floda," she says
"What is that sweetie?" Liv laughs
"Toni's leg is all gone and she is going to see dolphins in Florida," I laugh tickling Lexi
"She's energetic today,"
"Oh ya, she got up from a nap and we came down," i say "hasn't stopped,"
"You excited for the football tournament kiddo?" Reggie asks
"Baw?" She asks
"Maybe reggie will through a ball with you later,"
"Mommy baw now pwease," She says
"Later sweetheart I promise,"
"Mommy why mama walk? Leg awe gone!"
"She has a fake leg Lexi,"
"Oh. Do I haf a fake leg?"
"Come here buggy," Toni says taking her "don't worry about mama, I'm okay,"
She kisses her forehead and we all go and chill upstairs.
This is going to be the best week ever
