Aliya had been crying, so her voice still cracked and expressed a deep sense of sadness. like a spoilt baby she spoke

"Mammā, i was just looking for my book, i had no idea that i made such a mess"

Her mother's voice cut in...

" Oh! Now that you have realized it.. cle..."

She stopped her speech halfway, because the tears she just spotted on Aliya's cheeks made her realise the pain in her daughter's voice when she spoke earlier.

She walked up to where Aliya sat, and when she looked into her daughter's eyes, she couldn't help but feel her heart break. For, non but a mother could read the unspoken words of her child.

As a mother she saw the pain in her daughter's eyes.

"What is it my daughter? Did they bully you again?"

"No" she said trying not to cry.

"Tell me then, what happened?" She enquired again as she sat on the floor right beside her daughter.

"Tell me" She said.

"It was a all a lie Mammā" she said as she cried.

"A lie?" Her mother questioned in confusion.

"Sameer, he was lying to me all this while, he...left..." She was chocked by her own words as her tears began to fall like rain. And her sobs was more terrifying to her mother than the sound of a thousand thunder amplified.

However, before her tears could touch the ground, she felt a warm and protective shield around her. In that shield she felt so safe, like an egg yolk covered by the egg shell. She was already in her mother's arms. Behold such an emotional sight, as the mother hugged her daughter, such a hug that spoke by itself not by words.

Such a hug that said "No matter what, i will be there for you and everything is going to be just fine. Because, you, i will always love."

As if a fairy had casted a healing spell on her broken heart, Aleeya felt a bit of relief. She felt as if the world existed only in her mother's arms.
She felt a magical relief all trough her body and the heavy stone on her chest shifted.

In-between the mother's arms, a great amount of comfort lies, it makes you feel as if on the wings of happiness you fly.

After hugging for a while, her mother spoke

"Hey! It's okay. Humans lie, they don't care of the pain they cause. But you my princess is a warrior, and I know you will get through this. Besides, the only things that could hurt us are the ones we allow to. So, wipe your tears and let's go downstairs your majesty, i have prepared your favorite dish, lest you want me to eat it all by myself."

"Hmmm, you don't have to. I'll go with you" Aliya said.

After setting herself free from the hug, they both headed for the dining room.

Lost in her own thoughts, Aliyah revisited the road that lead her here.
