"I never loved her to get anything in return." Omkara tells her.

"Don't you want a family? How long will we be there for you? You need a support, Om."

"I know the pain when the one you love doesn't love you back. And I will never give that pain to anyone."

"You will be alone all your life."

"At least I will be happy." Omkara tells her.

"Remember how you wanted to have babies? Please at least for that marry." Jhanvi begs him.

Omkara in reply walks out into the balcony dismissing her.

Babies.

He had wanted babies. They were trying for a baby. Theirs was an arranged marriage. He remembers how they had slowly fallen in love. They were like chalk and cheese. He was an extrovert while she was a through and through introvert, but they had found their world in each other. They were married for three years when they decided to try for a baby. He remembers how he used to excitedly wait for her to tell him that their baby was on the way but every month he would find her depressed heartbroken sobs that she was not pregnant. He used to console her hiding his pain. Only if he knew the truth. She had been using birth control pills all the while because she didn't want his baby and all the crying was for his benefit. Omkara closes his eyes in pain as he remembered that horrible day.

Gauri, Svetlana, Mom and he were supposed to go for a movie but at the last minute Gauri had changed her mind. So he had gone with Mom and Svetlana and on the way his mother had realized that she had left her specs back at home. He had come back to collect it and decided to check on Gauri on an impulse. That was when he had caught her with another man. He had knocked on the door and when she hadn't opened immediately he had got worried for her safety. He had kept banging till she had opened the door. She looked worried and nervous. Hearing his shouts his mother and Svetlana had come in. Seeing the messed up bed and her worry his mother had realized what was happening had jumped in accusing her. But he was a stupid fool who thought there would be an innocent explanation to it. Then he found the man behind the curtain. A half dressed man. Then accusations and shouts were flying around as he stood there watching his life fall apart.

Finally Gauri had venomously told him how Abhay Dixit was her lover. She was in love with Abhay since her school days but due to family pressure had married him. Then she had been happy with him for a while. Till Abhay had come back in her life and she realized that she still loved Abhay and wanted to be with him. And then she had told him how she had been on pills to avoid getting pregnant as she didn't want to have his baby. She had left home that very day. He had seen her only at the court after that during their divorce proceedings. Even to this day, a part of him refused to believe that his Gauri could cheat him. He smokes as he felt the air around him once again. Suddenly he had the feeling at the pit of his stomach that things were going to change. His misery was going to end.

Omkara was sitting in his office trying to work but his heart was restless. Something was going to happen today. He had a premonition that his life was going to be upside down very soon. Try as he may he couldn't shake off the feeling.

"Sir, someone is here to see you." his secretary says poking her head inside.

"Who?"

"He refuses to give his name. He says you know him." Omkara frowns at the strange man who refused to give his name. He was about to ask her to send him away when his instincts took over screaming at him this had something to do with his premonition. "Send him in." Omkara tells her.

A minute later he hears the door open and looks up then furiously says "YOU!"

"I need to talk to you." Abhay tells him.
