Okie, fair warning, there will be not much of an apology in this story. FULL STOP.

And I somehow ended up writing an arrogant hero again.

Since many felt that there were no flashback scenes in Always & Forever, I thought I would rectify that by writing them here. Since the flashbacks were a last minute decision, it is all in random and the flashbacks aren't in order.

Omkara irately walks into his house. Ignoring the servants who were going about their daily routines, he heads to his bedroom. He opens the bedroom and walks in.

"Nitya!" Omkara calls out for his wife as he looked around.

Realizing she wasn't in the room, muttering under his breath, he walks out of the room, checking the time.

"Om... you are early today?" Jhanvi asks curiously seeing him walking around the house.

"No, I'll be going back now. did you see Nitya? She asked me to come home now." Omkara explains.

"Oh... isn't she in the room?" Jhanvi asks confused. "Is everything alright?"

"Yeah, everything is fine." Omkara nods. "She isn't in the room."

"Oh, I actually didn't see her today. I thought she might be busy with something." Jhanvi tells him.

"Hmmm okay. I'll check." Omkara tells her and walks off looking for his wife.

"Did you see my wife?" Omkara asks one of the servant who was sweeping the floor.

"She was in the back garden."

"Okay." Omkara nods and walks off.

Omkara walks out into the garden and sees her sitting on the garden bench lost in thoughts.

"You said it is urgent and I've been home for five minutes and you are sitting here!" Omkara says as he walked to her.

Breaking out of her thoughts she turns to look at her husband and she could see that he was irritated.

"What is so urgent that you couldn't wait for me to come home in the evening?" he asks as he sat opposite to her.

"You look pissed."

"After the tantrum you pulled, you are asking me that?"

"Have I ever done this before?" she asks him back a little upset.

Hearing her question, he smiles gently and moving towards her, he kneels in front of her. "You've never done that. and that is why I came, wifey."

"because you know it would be something important." She points out.

"Yes. Now, tell me."

"That's it? no sorry for acting all irritated?"

"If you make me say sorry then how will you know whether it is genuine or not?" he asks her back cheekily.

"You are an ass." She complains glaring at him.

"But still you love me." he says grinning.

She looks down sighing.

He cups her face lovingly. "What happened? Tell me."

"I got my test results."

"Test results?" he asks, his heart skipping a beat in worry. "What test? Are you not feeling well? Why didn't you tell me anything about it?"
