Mer Sunstreaker x female fighting fish reader x Mer Sideswipe

(For this one, I have no clue what the twins look like as fish. So for this, I'll make them fighting fish as the Reader.

So they will be almost black, but with a heavy colour shine. Sunny has a very heavy yellow shine with the tips of his frills and tail end being yellow. While Sideswipe would have a red version.)

"No." He said with a grunt.

"Come on Sunny! It's mating season." Sideswipe encouraged, swimming around their shared room to trying to get Sunstreaker out.

The yellow shining mer was trying to ignore his twin about the subject. It was clear it wasn't working well.

"I said no." Sun kept his ground.

Sideswipe huffed, "Why, bad experience? Can't get a female even if you tried?" He taunted, flashing his heavy red shine in any way he could.

"Because if you actually stoped to think, we'd have to fight each other if we wanted the same mer."

"Nah, even if we do, I'll kick ya tail for her."

Sunny rolled his eyes, "Let me guess, you already know who you want."

Sideswipe began to chuckle, swimming in just a way for Sunstreaker to realize who he's talking about.

"No!"

"Yes! If you're not gonna mate, I'll have her!" The red mer swooped out of the way as his brother tried to grab him and swam out.

"You will not go anywhere near her!" Yellow shouted, chasing after his twin."

"Make me!"

*After chasing Sideswipe out to the open ocean*

Sunstreaker managed to grab ahold of his twin and slammed him against a rocky cliff.

"Easy with the frill, I need to impress her." Sideswipe wined. He grabbed his brothers wrists and tried to move out of the hold. It only made the rock wall dig and scratch up his back.

"I warned you." Sun growled, pushing his twin into the wall more.

Sideswipe started to worry, looking around for anyone to help him. This was when he realized that Sunny would kill him for (y/n)'s love. As it's how their instincts are.

"Sunstreaker! What are you doing to your brother?" A fellow fighting fish female appeared from over the cliff. It looked like Sunstreaker had chased Sideswipe to her home. Sun looked up upon hearing her voice pushed away from his twin. Swimming up to greet the mer.

"We were about to fight for your love." Sunstreaker responded, slightly he puffed his chest out secretly. But she noticed, eyeing his chest, then his eyes.

"Did you seriously just tried to make yourself look bigger?" She giggled lightly, placing her hand over her mouth while eyeing him.

"I- uh..."

"Hahaha! He did! I knew he had the Pearl's for ya!"

"Shut it Sideswipe! You couldn't even fight me once I had you pinned."

"Enough you two! You can both be my mate."
