Short note before you read this. I have adopted a book from Kit_Girl_5 that is Merformers. It was something I thought of doing, but never got around to doing.

Now that I got the chance and adopted it, any parts that I post here will also be on there. I take all credit for any that is exactly like this and others with the "Merformers" title. So please, don't go over to their book and comment about how their stealing my work. I adopted it, and they'll be hosting it there also.

Do check Kit_Girl_5 's works out. I have read a few and it's where some of my inspiration came from.

Since I'm not familiar with the Merformers characters, I'll be basing them on different versions of of the characters. This one is the Prime version of Optimus.

Now then, on with the first story for Merformers from me~

This was incredible. We knew there was creatures beyond the waves and in the depths. But seeing a merman like animal was just... Incredible.

He was massive, as in size. About 3 double-decker busses put together, length ways. Blue and red coloured fins and such.

"What ever did happen to you?" (Y/n) asked herself. Watching the tank the Mer' floated in. He was covered in water-proof bandages to cover up the cuts and bruises he was covered in. Whatever had hurt him that badly. She shook her head, not wanting to even think about it.

"Don't worry hun. Well take care of it." He walked off to watch the creature's vital signs.

(y/n) sighed, closing her eyes and hoped that the fish would be alright. She opened her eyes again and gasped.

The Merman was awake, but only a little. Unaware of the location it were in. It groaned in pain, flicking it's aquatic tail to float upright. He placed a scaly hand over one of his neck-fins, an injury that the two humans had tried to heal. The blue and red Mer lifted it's neck up, then to the side carefully to stretch his cramped neck. His muscular body tensed, now having a feeling that he wasn't alone.

"Don't be alarmed. We're only trying to help you, that's all." The male turned his head to looked through the observation glass to his tank and saw the girl. "Once your all healed up, we'll let you back out into the ocean."

The fish calmed down and relaxed some. Trusting the human's words. He took this time to look around the space. It was bare, a concrete like tank. A viewing glass on one side, where the human was, and a large hatch-like opening.

"That's where you'll go, once we take off the bandages." He tilted his head at her in question. "What I mean is, once your injuries have healed enough, we'll let you through there into a much larger tank. Where we'll be able to make sure that you can still swim around and such."

The merman looked down in thought, than back to her, shifting over to the glass and placing a hand near her on said glass. Their electric blue eyes softened when she placed her hand in the same place, but from the other side of the glass.

"I'm (y/n)." She smiles up at him.

"Optimus. It's nice to meet you, (y/n)."
