This might be a canon name, but I'm not sure. If it isn't, it's a very pretty name but overused.

I use to not like SkyWings but they've started to grow on me!

Appearance: top scales are a mix of gold and red and have a pale red for her under scales everything else is deep red, like deep deep red horns pretty average as far as body type like not skinny not fat but an avid warrior

No offense, but this appearance is pretty basic. You need to add details. 'Everything else is a deep red' is not very descriptive. Maybe use words like maroon, cranberry, etc, etc.

Personality: loyal as heck, very protective over her sister and anyone she loves, pretty smart, doesn't really like fighting but will if she has to, daydreams way to much, loves to write anything and everything, very carefully chooses her friends and once you're friends with her your kind of stuck, quiet around people she doesn't know but if you're really good friends with her she can talk for hours and hours, pretty innocent as far as the world goes, gets depressed a lot, anxious about a lot of things

Again, a bit of a basic personality. Try balancing things out and adding things to spice it up so it doesn't look like every other OC out there.

Backstory: when her mother died when she was 2 she helped her father take care of her sister and after her father died she had to grow up pretty fast and take care of her. She's not really afraid of anyone per say just cautious.

Good for a background character, not a main. Details! What was it like growing up without her mother? How's her relationship with her sister and father? How did her parents died?

Occupation: she works in a library and helps others find information

Hearth is a pretty name. However, she doesn't even know her parents names? I thought her and her dad raised Hearth together?

Helping others kinda contradicts with her personality of being anxious and quiet around people she doesn't know,

Others: she doesn't really care about what tribe another dragon comes from, as long as they're nice she's ok

Overall, I give Dawn a 4/10. You REALLY need to work on her appearance, backstory, and personality. Add lots of details.
