Tell Me You Love Me, When It's 3.47 AM

My soft fingers delicately wrapped around your throat. My white acrylic nails clawed into your skin, your thick crimson blood slowly slithering down, small bruises already forming. Love bite look-a-likes. Your breath was inaudible, my breath was hot and heavy. My mind was racing and I wanted nothing more than for you to understand.

I was dainty, innocent, full of hope. Everyone told me I was too good for you.

I loved you. But when I said it, you wouldn't say it back...? Was I not good enough?

Your eyes began to glaze over, the oxygen you had left was being claimed by your lungs, your heart... your cold heart. Your incapable heart. Your heart that held compassion at 3.44AM, when I was drunk... oxygen starved.
Your heart that bled love at 3.46AM, when I was asleep... daring to beat.
Your heart that said nothing, now, at 3.47AM.

Echoes of your pleading rung in my head, but I was merciless. If this was only lust driven, had I then sinned? If I had sinned, does that make this crime lesser? Had I been mislead? Am I now misleading you, as you wait for your last dose of oxygen to enter your bloody body.

The faint sound of knocking came from the front door; they heard your screams. I was surprised they cared, they must've seen it coming. Everyone had seen this coming, everybody but me. And now it was your turn, I was going to show you something that you would have never seen coming.
