Everyone grasped their glasses filled with alcohol as the TV presenters counted down from 10 seconds.The family and friends gathered around with smiles brightly lighting up everyone's faces. As the big bang went off and the TV displayed the bright fireworks that lit up the sky on the other side of the country. Kim and Tom briefly kissed before the family pulled them away for congratulate them on yet another year of happiness and healthiness. Everyone downed their drinks and walked around the large room welcoming everyone into the New Year with high spirits. It didn't take long for Kim and Tom took nearly no time to find each other in the midst of the celebrations. Immediately they were wishing each other a happy New Year in a warm embrace. Their names got called and they each hear pass-remarkable snickers; but they ignored them all. They had waited so long to share a New Years and this was far better than they had ever imagined. Yeah, it was boring, stay at home, stuck with the family, not much alcohol, not much lovin', not many celebations New Years, it was perfect for them because it was so unexpected and they couldn't be more happy.
