Streams of red blood dripped from her skinny, torn, wrists; splashing into the pool of tears on the bathroom floor. She grimaced, but enjoyed the release, as she sliced another straight line across her wrist. A sob escaped her mouth, and a knock sounded at the door. "Are you okay in there?" Her mother asked, no concern in her voice what so ever. Faking happiness, "Of course!" She said. That was enough to convince her heartless mother, and she walked away from the door. Black dots filled her vision, she began to shake uncontrollably. Placing the razor on her wrist, for the last time; she sliced vertically and almost passed out to the sight of blood.
