The overwhelming smell of over-cleanliness filled the stale air... The air she could barely breathe. Her dreams were the same, never comforting. She dreamt of waking from this state, this comatose, to be beside him, to be wrapped in his welcoming presence. Sometimes she couldn't stand the dreams, seemingly so real, something she may never have. She may never wake up, and certainly never next to him.
