Chapter 78 - To Forgive

"Hey Hic! Come he- where are you going?!"

"Hic! Reyna's waiting for y- HEY!"

"Hic! Wanna do some sparr-- Hey WAIT!!!"

"....Hiccup?"

*Ignore

He ignored all of them that he encountered as he ran throughout the fields towards the Infirmary.

He ran straight towards the balcony where no one's there and started sobbing.

He just didn't know why he's like that.

It's like some switch pulled when he saw him.

He racked his body as he cried, sobbed and groaned.

"Um....excuse me, young one. But would you mind if you give me a little bowl of milk? I'm thirsty."

He jumped at hearing a raspy woman's voice.

He looked up to see an old woman staring down at him. She wore ragged clothing and is holding a staff to help her walk.

'Why is an old woman here?', he thought but he shrugged it off.

He wiped his tears and politely smiled at her. "I'll see what I can do, ma'am. Please, make yourself comfortable."

"Thank you", the woman smiled back at him.

He heard the woman whisper "so polite...." then she followed him.

Fortunately, he found some milk beside the bed where Drew lay unconcious.

Her stomach was crushed a little when Annabeth stepped on her. Ouch.

He grabbed a big bowl, gently put milk in there and gave it to the old woman.

She smiled at him as she gulped down the milk in a little ettiquette manner.

For some reason, he found it cute.

"Thank you, child", the woman put down his half-empty milk." You are so kind."

"I'm glad you liked it, ma'am", Hiccup smiled. "But, I think it didn't help much. For my friends, I mean."

The woman raised an eyebrow. "Well, what is a bowl of milk? Nothing."

He looked away.

"But KINDNESS makes it Everything", she drank down the rest of it.

He got stunned.

The thing the old lady said was....familiar.

"And to forgive is hard. But it takes a real man to do it. You gotta have BRAVERY, KINDNESS and DETERMINATION to accomplish that."

It rang a bell. It came from--

He went deadly still.

The woman smiled. "Well then. I guess I'm done here."

She left.

"HICCUP!?", Annabeth yelled at the top of her lungs. "Oh geez..."

"Guys!", Carla laughed. "I found him in the infirmary! He's having a flashback freeze! Haha!!"

"Yay!", Blueberry clapped his hands together.

The reactions on both of them after the flashback freezes were different between Percy and Hiccup.

For once, Percy screamed " BLUE COOKIES!!!"

Hiccup just slumped over and almost fainted.

Stoick looked at him in concern.
"Are you okay, son? I-"

He hugged him.

"I forgive you, dad.", He smiled at him.

Stoick hugged back in tears.

Sans and Chara high-fived each other. "They're back to normal! Alright!!!"
