"Darling, can I cut your hair?"

"No!"

"Darling, please!"

"I said no, Grell!"

"My beautiful (nickname), let me do this for you."

"No-"

"I'll make sure you look as nice as my Sebby~!"

A cushion was thrown at Grell's face.

"Ouch! Was that necessary? Do you really wish to ruin a lady's face?"

"I don't wish to talk to you right now, Grell. Please leave me alone."

"But why, darling? Aren't you my best friend? Why would you ignore me?"

Best friend.

That word really pissed (Y/N) off. Why couldn't Grell even consider (Y/N) as something more?

(Y/N) was madly in love with Grell and the worst thing was that it was one-sided.

Unrequited love was the worst punishment someone could have.

Once upon a time, in the dark pits of sadness, anger, and envy, (Y/N) saw Grell clinging to Sebastian.

Sebastian was pushing Grell off of him, but Grell was determined.

Frowning to herself, (Y/N) left them both and sat at a park bench, sighing in sadness.

Suddenly Grell appeared in front of her and engulfed (Y/N) in a tight hug.

"My dear (nickname)! I missed you so much. Don't ignore me again!"

A blush appeared on (Y/N)'s face as she hugged Grell back.

"I missed you too," she whispered, softly.

"How did I look today? Do you think Sebby found me nice to look at?"

(Y/N) pushed Grell away, and sighed. "You always look pretty, don't worry."

"Thank you (nickname). You're the best friend a lady could ask for."

With that, Grell pressed a mushy kiss to (Y/N)'s cheek and ran off.

Probably to her Sebby, leaving (Y/N) alone.

Best friends. At least she got to talk to and admire Grell from afar. Wishing and hoping for too much was always painful.
