Haruka Nanase X Reader

ALRIGHT PEEPS I've got loads of one-shots I never published, and today, Valentines day of 2019, will be the day I publish them all! Beginning with this one! Prepare yourselves!!!

You frowned, glancing in his room door. You were always quiet, just like Haru, and you tended to sneak up on each other, not that it really scared or bothered you.
He had cured you, in a sense, you smiled and were always so happy with him and the water. But now that your happy, he's sad. He's the one looking down while you're looking up. He gave away his happiness for you, it seems, and he won't let you help him.
You found a future for yourself with his help, But he had never known what he wanted all along. It's not fair, it never was, to him.
You watched as he curled himself up on his bed, and you quickly turned away, hearing his small and muffled sobs from under his blankets.
His parents weren't around, his friend's didn't know how to help him...
You need to stop leaving him alone. He didn't leave you alone even though you wanted him too and now you're finally happy again.
I don't care what he says, or how much he pushes me away! You thought, I'm going to repay him for what he did for me.

"Haru!"
"Haru! Wait!"
"Leave me alone, Y/N."
"No! Turn around dammit, Haruka Nanase!"
He stopped in his tracks, and slowly turned half way to face you.
"Listen to me, Haru, please. " You took a deep breath, "I know how your feeling."
"No you-"
"Haru! I was the one that always looked down, I was depressed, lonley- I cried myself to sleep every night! My brothers had their lives all planned out and I was left behind, so lost and no one to guide me! But then you came along, you saved me Haruka, you saved me when I thought I could no longer be saved... dammit, Haru, I... I was considering suicide before you came along." You stared at him, tears welling in your eyes as his own widened and he turned to look at you completely.
"You showed me that you cared, you gave me your time and your knowledge, you gave me the sky, Haru." You stepped forward, and took his right hand in both of yours, "You gave me love, and I gave nothing in return. You gave me your happiness - but if this is how you end up for me to be happy then take it back! Take it all back!"
He slowly shook his head, speechless.
"Then-" Your voice cracked but you couldn't stop now, "Then let me help you! Let me in like I let you in, Haru! I need you, don't push me away! I can help- I will help, everyone wants to help! We hate seeing you like this!" Your tears fell slowly onto the boys large hand, and you cried more as you brought his hand in both of yours up to your forehead.
"Don't go Haru. I want to help. So let me in, dammit. I may not be able to help you with your future, but I can help you be happy. Let us all help you, Rin too, and you'll find your way, I promise! I know, because I went through the same thing!"
It was silent, and slowly Haruka's other hand made it's way onto your cheek, raising your head up to face him, you closed your eyes and leaned into his touch, sniffling.
Slowly your eyes opened to look into his, still holding gently onto his hand, he wrapped his fingers around your hand and leaned forward.
Silently, he came into your life, silently, he saved you, silently, you became friends.
And silently, as your lips met, your love for each other was shared.
His hand slipped out of your hole and the male wrapped his arm around your waist to pull you closer, your hands resting on his chest, sliding up to his neck. His left hand slowly caressing my cheek, his fingers edging into my hair.
In his moment, there was nothing else but you and him, and the both of you wished it would last forever.

You didn't even have to say the words to know that you loved each other, to be together. You glanced at your hands, palm on palm, fingers interlocked, so that we wouldn't loose each other as we walked to school. He seemed slightly happier than usual, but still a little lost. It was near the end of your third year after all, you had watched him stop in the middle of the swimming pool, trapped, unable to keep going. You ran after him even after he had yelled at Rin and scared everyone. After Makoto and him fought, you eventually managed to get him to listen, and your love was set free.

He swam one last relay with the other boys, you told them it wasn't the last as you cried when you met up with them after they had won, Haruka had shown the brightest smile that made you burst into tears, and he kissed you with so much passion you heard everyone groan and look away.
