"Wait- I can go to!" You grunted, sitting up, but losing it to a stab of pain, your head hitting the pillow again.
"Y/N, you need to rest. Fairy tails strongest team can take care of this." Lisanna assures me.
"No- I want to help!" You cried out. You knew it would be hard for them, you wanted to help, to be there for them, if the may slip and fall.
"It's okay, Y/N. I promise we'll do well for you." Lucy adds.
"Lucy-" You reached out your hand to her and she took it.
"Lucy listen to me, I know your an amazing girl. You hold a lot of power in you. A type of confidence I haven't seen ever since my mother died. Lucy I want you to know that I trust you, and though your still young to this guild and have lots to learn, you hold a big responsibility." I explained, taking deep breaths.
"What is it Y/N? I don't understand." Lucy replies innocently, worried.
"Lucy- Natsu, is very special to me. Like a little brother. I want you to keep him on his feet, like I wish I could have, when we thought we lost Lisanna. I want you to know that I leave him in your hands of care, because I know how he feels for you. He needs you Lucy, And I will never forgive you, if he falls out of all of our reaches."
Lucy nods her head, determination filling her eyes, "I promise you Y/N. Natsu will be at his best for the rest of time, as long as I'm by his side he will never falter!" Lucy smiled for me, and you forced smiled back, letting your hand slip from her grip.
"Get some rest now, K?" And she was gone.

.  .  .

"Laxus- wait don't do this!" I called out as he went to leave the guild. Rumour had quickly spread, that he was getting kicked out.
"I'm sorry Y/N. I'm sorry for what I did to you and the guild, and for it I can't stay."
"Laxus you can't! You can't leave me like this!"
"I can't stay Y/N. Not after what happened. I'm a coward and I'm selfish-"
"That may be true Laxus but it doesn't matter to me because I-"
"Don't say it. I don't deserve it."
"No... Please stop this nonsense..." You begged.
"Goodbye Y/N, this won't be the last time." The doors slammed behind my lover, he was gone. Gone from Fairy Tale, from Mangolia...
I dropped to my knees, let out a scream and let the tears flow constantly. My heart has been broken into a million pieces. Whether he betrayed us or not, he left me, and I'll still love him, even more than before.
"I'm sorry, my child." Macarof mumbled, secured in his office as he cried to himself.
Little did anyone know, that Laxus had run home to pack his things, breaking down and crying all the while.

Finally, through weeks of mourning you got pulled back on my feet again. You were out on a mission, after tons of convincing, walking through the towns markets. Everyone seemed happy here. It was nice.
You were walking peacefully, at peace with yourself alone. Usually Laxus would be by your side at times like these. Sighing, you felt your eyes widen as a blonde haired man walked by you, headphones he usually wore off of his neck, his cloak dirty at the edges.
"Laxus-" You began, "Laxus wait!" You snatched his hand and he stopped with a sigh.
"You cant just walk by me like that... Like you don't know who I am. Like there is nothing between us." You explained.
"Y/N, I can't..."
"I love you Laxus! More than before you left because I had to let you go! I had to move on without you because you ran away! I love you and there's not a second that I don't think of you-" his lips met yours, cutting you off.
He pulled apart slowly. "I love you too Y/N, but what I did was... Is unforgivable. I may never be allowed back in Mangolia let alone Fairy Tale." He paused, pulling back away completely he smiled slightly, "I thought you'd hate me."
"Laxus, I love you more than life itself. I couldn't ever imagine hating you."
His smile fell, "Y/N, right now, I need to be alone. I need to find myself as an adult. As a man. So that I can come back better than before. Better for the guild and better for you. I can't stop now just because you want me by your side. I still have a long way to go."
"I... I understand." I looked down. "But Laxus-" his lips met yours again.
"No more, Y/N. We will meet again alright? And when we do, I'm putting a ring on that finger of yours." Laxus intertwined his fingers with yours. You smiled genuinely and he did the same.
"When I see you again." You spoke, and he was gone.

. . .

"Y/N!" Lisanna shook you awake. "Come on! Let's get you up and to the team to see them! The battles over!" She cheered.
Helping you up through millions of grunts, your one arm around her shoulders she lead you on for what seemed like forever.
You wanted to keep dreaming, of Laxus.
When will you meet again?
"Almost there, hang on!" Lisanna was smiling when You looked up to her. She was excited to see Natsu, well with the others. But something's was off. You could feel it, a weird magic wave length that seemed... Familiar?

Looking up from Lisanna, you saw the group before you. But someone else was there. Your jaw dropped to the ground as you got closer. Blonde hair, headphones over his ears, baby blue-green eyes and a brand knew white suit with a new brown cloak tied around his toned body.
Tears filled your eyes, but all the pain seemed to disappear. You slipped out of Lisanna's hold and ignored her calls for you. "Laxus-" You huffed, picking up your pace. "LAXUS!" You laughed as you jumped into his arms, he had whirled around at the call of his name, and got you as his great surprise.
"Y/N... I love you, so much." Laxus mumbled after spinning you around in a beautiful reunion moment. Everyone was happy for you, you could feel it.
You pulled back and kissed him with all the passion you could muster.
"Marry me..." He said when you pulled away.
"Y/N, Im not gonna waist anytime.
I love you more than life itself. More than the guild, more than gramps. There aren't enough words to express it. So Y/N? Will you marry me?" He said, holding me tighter as if I would run away.
"Yes." And he kissed you.
When he pulled away, the guild was screaming. He knelt down and took out a box from his pocket.
You laughed as he smirked. "I've had it with me for ever. Don't worry, it's quite alright." He winked and you laughed again.
He took your hand and slid on the golden ring, A precious Diamond slightly towards the right.
"Like it?" He asked, showing me his, another diamond, slightly to the left. He rounded you and held your waist from behind. And when he put your hands over one another, intertwining your fingers side by side, the Diamonds seemed to fit together.
"I love it, but that's not what matters." You smiled, as did he.

Little did you all know, that you would be put in a seven year sleep.
