A/N hello lovelies! Today I am back to work after my long winter holidays so i wanted to give you one more chapter before life gets crazy.
Most likely my updates will be coming less frequently but I am still going to try to update as much as possible so please stick with me! Thanks!💖💖😘😘😍😍

Joker turned and looked at Frost, disbelief etched on his face. He then turned sharply to Hatter. "Is this true?"

Hatter sighed but shook his head yes.

Lisbeth awkwardly sat up, her hand over her fresh cuts. It seemed crazy at a time like this, her and Hatter battered and bruised, the man she loved standing over them ready to kill, but she couldn't help but smiling. She was glad that her good friend had someone to love him; someone not involved in this crazy life.

The kitchen door opened and everyone's eyes swung to Bones, who had frozen in the doorway at the scene in front of him.

Joker sneered at him. "Go get Ghost; He is in my office. Bring him here. Now!"

Bones hurried out as Joker turned back to the two sitting on the floor.

"Keeping secrets, huh, Hatter?"

"No boss, it's not that. I just never brought it up. Didn't think you would care about my boring personal life."

J couldn't help but laugh. "Can't argue with you there." He then turned to the door as Bones and Ghost came back into the room.

Ghost looked at the bloody mess before him. He was surprised to see Lisbeth on the floor, seeming more damaged than Hatter. He really hadn't wanted that to happen; he had no problem with her. He liked her sweetness. Hatter, though, he hated that kid. His stupid intuition led him to save Lisbeth and he seemed to be moving up the ranks quickly after his brother.

It annoyed the hell out of Ghost. He was much better at the job than Hatter. He should be the one Boss came too when he needed something done.

Joker gave an icy smile to Ghost; motioning Jonny to stand behind him; block his access to the door.

"As you can see, I have been having a little chat with princess and Hatter. It seems your story checks out."

Ghost couldn't help but raise his eyes in surprise. He didn't expect them to admit anything.

"But it seems, Ghost, that you didn't do all your research. Outward appearances aren't always what they seem!" Joker bellowed out, throwing his head back and laughing. He looked back at Ghost; his face suddenly becoming serious. "I don't like when I get information that hasn't been verified." He spoke icily before turning around and walking to Lisbeth.

He bent down and gently pulled her up. "I am sorry, little one. I know you are in pain but Daddy needs your help." Lisbeth looked back at him and nodded. "Good girl." He purred, smiling down on her.

He put his arm around her waist, helping
support her. He walked her over in front of Ghost, who had a terrified look on his face, not knowing what was going to happen to him.

Joker slowly took his gun out of the holster and held it in front of Lisbeth. "Princess, you are going to kill Ghost for me."

Lisbeth pushed back from J's arm, a look of terror on her face. "No, no, no." She said quietly. "I can't...I won't..."

Joker just laughed, walking over to her and holding the gun out to her. "Baby Doll; if it was up to Ghost, Hatter would be dead right now. You know what they say, lovely 'Snitches get Stitches.' (A/N 😂 Louisa532 that one is for you!) Or as I like to say, snitches get shot in the fucking head!!!"

J stopped laughing and looked down at his terrified Nursey with a more gentle look. "C'mon princess. You need to do it."

"Daddy...I can't do it. He doesn't deserve it."

Joker glared down at her. "Fine then, doll, if he doesn't deserve it, I guess Hatter really does then!" He angrily walked over to Hatter and roughly pulled him off the ground, sticking the gun to his temple. "Here goes nothing!" He laughed out!

"No! Don't, Daddy! Please!" Lisbeth sobbed out.

J looked over to her and grinned. "Make a choice, darling. I shoot Hatter or you shoot Ghost. Who's life is more precious to you? You can't keep both."

Lisbeth put her head in her hands. She hated guns. She wasn't stupid; she knew that the man she loved was a crazy serial killer but she tried to keep that side of his life away from herself. Maybe she was kidding herself; maybe sleeping with a killer was as bad as being one. But...but she just didn't want to kill him. She didn't want a senseless killing to be on her hands. But...Hatter...he had become one of her closest friends. She couldn't let him be killed for helping her.

Lisbeth lifted up her head and shakily reached out her hand for the gun. Joker let out a long chuckle before he walked over to her, lifting her up and crashing his lips against her. "Oh, princess, this is going to be so much fun!"

J put Lisbeth down and putting a hand on the small of her back, he guided her over in front of the terrified goon.

"Arms!" Joker yelled out and Jonny and Bones both grabbed Ghost roughly, keeping him rooted in place.

J stood behind a crying Lisbeth and put the gun in her hands and guiding them up to point it right between Ghost's eyes.

"Steady...steady, princess" Joker murmured as he finished positioning her hands and cocking the gun for her. "Right between the eyes, little one." He purred as he stepped to her side.

Lisbeth just held the gun and let the silent tears fall down her cheeks.

"Do it...Do it....now!" Joker yelled.

Lisbeth mouthed a "I am so sorry" to Ghost closed her eyes and pulled the trigger.

The gun flew back as she shot and hit her in he face sending her tumbling to the ground, with a new bleeding gash on her face. She opened her eyes and saw the goon lying on the ground, blood pouring from a wound on his face. She let out a strangled cry, which was quickly drowned out by Joker's delighted laugh. He hurried over to Lisbeth pulling her up into his arms and looking at her with awe.

Tears rained down her cheeks, mixing with the blood on her face. She hung in his arms like a rag doll, the gun still dangling from her fingers. His blood-splattered, broken little doll. If he didn't have more business to attend to, he would fuck her right here, among the glass shards and dead body.

He set her down, encouraging her to stand on her own. "Doll, doll, don't give up on me yet. We are not done!"

Lisbeth looked up at him through blurry water-filled eyes. "Wh..what?"

"You have one more decision to make." He walked over to stand next to Hatter. "One more kill to make." He grinned over at the girl. "Where do your loyalties lie? Who are you going to keep? Hatter or....me?" He let out a loud laugh.

Lisbeth's face fell. "Daddy! You can't make me do this!"

"Oh, I can and I will!" Joker sneered. "You don't make a decision and everyone in this room dies."

Lisbeth looked at Hatter and then at Jonny and Bones. She hated J at this moment. She was now a killer and he wanted her to kill again.
She walked over to stand in front of J and Hatter, the gun held loosely in her hand.

Hatter, so kind, sweet, loving....But...but her daddy; she couldn't live without him. She lifted up the gun pointing it at Hatter. Oh god, how was she going to live with herself after this?

"I am so sorry, Hatter." She sobbed out. "I am so sorry...I love him...he owns my heart and soul."

To her surprise Hatter gave her a small smile and mouthed "It's ok. Do it."

Lisbeth closed her eyes and cocked the gun.
