IF IT WASN'T FOR HIM

chapter : 24

Amanda's POV

"So what color is the current uniform?" I asked Natalie as we looked at the material to design the choir and band uniform

"Well the band uniforms are blue and the choir uniforms are red." She answered

"Okay so as you probably know, I'm not really into one color things so I'm thinking a lot of glitter and style for the choir and a rock 'n' rollish style for the school band"

"Great. Let's get shopping." She said before we split and went to look for material and decided to meet at Starbucks after an hour.

As I walked, one of the stores caught my eye. It was called Nassandras.

"Sounds cool" I said before going in and as I got in, at the cashier I saw the same girl that I bumped into when I went shopping with Natalie.

As soon as she saw me her face changed from a smile to sort of frown mixed with hate and anger but then suddenly she put on this smile. I decided to just brush it off.

She looked very familiar.

"Hello," I said

"Hey. Welcome to my store. I'm Abby." She said smiling

"Oh, I thought your name was Nassandra since that's what your store says." I said

"That's just a name I really like but my actual name is Abby. Anyways, what do you need?"

"I just want something nice to make a school choir uniform and a band uniform."

She got out from behind the counter and came to me.

"Sounds like you like designing. Well you've found a sister. Designing is like my life. I love everything about it. I think you should use glitter, ribbons and as for the real outfit, I'm thinking yellow and black." She said and by the time she was done, she had already piled all the things she listed on the counter

"Wow, I love your sense of style. How much will that be?" I asked

"Umm.... $5.52" she said

I gave her the money "thanks for the help and I'm Amanda by the way." I said stretching out my hand for her to shake it and she did
"Nice meeting you" we both said before I left

I took the lift downstairs and went into Starbucks where I saw Natalie already waiting for me.

"Hey, sorry for the delay." I said sitting down across her and putting my bags down

"It's fine, I just got here like five minutes ago. I also ordered you an expresso and black forest cake. You said that's your favorite." She said

I smiled "thanks. So..... what did you buy?"

"Well I bought stuff that I knew you wouldn't think about. I bought buttons, belts, and stuff like that." She said

I chuckled "I was supposed to be offended but you're right, I did forget those stuff so thanks."

"Okay that's a great idea, yellow dress and black button up vest. I like it." Natalie said while drawing different types of dresses in her sketch book

My phone buzzed and I opened. It was a text from Nick.

NICK: hey honey, missed you for the whole day today.
I'm ALONE now. Wanna pass by? :-)

I chuckled. Before I replied.

AMANDA: Olala. Be there soon. :-)

"How about we take a break. I have to go see Nick." I said

"Sure." She said

"What are you going to do?" I asked

"Well I'll just go to the cafeteria and see who's there." She said getting up and taking her black hooddie from her closet.

"Bye" I said before getting out and making my way to Nick's room.

Soon, I was there. I knocked on the door and Nick opened the door with that smile of his that I extremely love.

"Hey, come in." He said before kissing me on the cheek.

We spent the rest of the day snugling and watching movies on his laptop.
