chapter 3

Amanda's P. O. V

woke up and got ready for school. For some odd reason I kept on thinking about Nick. But let anything get in my way. I don't want the same thing that happened to mom to happen to me. I went downstairs, had breakfast and left.

I was holding Danny's hand and we were walking down the alley when I heard someone calling my name. I turned and saw Nick sitting in his Mazda 3. "Come in let me take you to school." Nick said

"I...I don't know Nick I mean..." I said before being interrupted by Danny

"Amanda has got a boyfriend..... Amanda's got a boyfriend." He chanted again and again

"Keep quiet Danny." I said

Nick laughed a little bit then said "So will you come in or what?"

"Well.... " I said before Danny said "Yes, yes well come" and he got in the car. I had no choice than to get in too.

We soon arrived and as we got out of the car everyone was looking at me and I thought I had done something wrong or had been called to the principle's office but as I was walking I overheard some girls saying "OMG she just walked in with Nick Jonas. " one of them said "Are you kidding me it's THE NICK JONAS. The hottest, coolest and most charming guy in school. " the other one said "I know right. Like if she walked in with Nick Jonas then anything is possible like you'll see me walk in with Brad Pitt or something." Another one said looking at me

I didn't know he was this famous till now. We went to our separate classes and soon we came to the cafeteria for lunch. Jessica, Becky and I were about to sit at this empty table we found but then Nick came up to me and said "Oh Amanda, come and sit with us, I have some great ideas for the project and you can bring your friends too." "Alright." I said and started walking towards their table with Becky and Jessica. "This is my brother Joe and Joe this is Amanda." Nick said "oh is she the one you were talking about all night" Andrew who was one Of Nick's friends said "no, no I think you're mistaken Andrew." Nick said giving Andrew that 'why are you saying that' look and that made me think he really was talking about me but whatever. We had lunch together and I noticed that Joe kept on looking at Jessica.

"Amanda where will we do the project today?" Nick asked"I asked my mom and she said you can come to my place since yesterday I got home late." I said "Ok then I'll pick you after school but til then I have to get to class so bye" he said and left

We were on our way to my house in Nick's car and Danny kept on talking to Nick about football since he was a big fan of it. When we arrived I introduced Nick to my family and we went to my room to work on the project. Soon we were done for the day and Nick went home.

Nick's P.O.V

I kept on thinking about Amanda. I just can't stop thinking about her. I keep on thinking I should ask her out but what if she says no then we won't be friends anymore cause it will be awkward. "Nick? Hellooo" Joe said and waved his hand in front of my face "What?" I said "I've been talking for like fifteen minutes and you didn't answer. What's going on inside your head bro?" Joe asked "well it's this...." I said before Joe sort of guessed it all on his own "...girl. right? What did she do? Did she upset you? Should we send Danielle to beat her up?" Joe said "No,bro. It's Amanda. For some reason I can't get her out of my mind." I said "At least you can try to ask her out or something." Joe said
"What if she says no maybe she already has a boyfriend." I said "There's only one way to find out if she likes you and that is you ask her out." He said walking towards the door "And Nick,I bet she's got no boyfriend." He said again before walking out the door and closing it
Was Joe right? Should I really ask her out?
