Jason looked around the trial room. Funny thing about determination. Sometimes it doesn't stick around. He was worried all over again. Scared, even. Everyone was staring at him. He had the pocket knife sitting on his stand, and he hadn't had a chance to wash up. And then he wouldn't have a change of clothes. His drawers were empty except the clothes he was wearing, his space suit, and, for an unfathomable reason a white tuxedo that was terribly familiar. God he hated discos. No way in the Nether was he going to put that on.
"We already know who all of the evidence points to," Hannah began, "Jason, that would be-" Mitch interrupted, "The lot of you have some poor detective skills! If you would've taken a second to hear Jason's side of the story, you would find that he is, indeed, innocent. He has an eyewitness, even. A murderous witness, but a witness all the same. Evidently, Hannah, you are incorrect." Mitch smiled.
