CHP 44: Please Be Happy

The secret place...

She gather all her courage and finally something came out. At least there are something. "Is there anything on my face?" she asked.

From the corner of her eye, she can see that he was nodding his head. She was a bit surprise. She don't expect that to be the answer. She almost touch her face when he started to talk. "Your face... It's not cheerful as before. What happened?" he asked.

Hearing that, her heart feel much more heavier. She want someone to hear her out but she don't know if he want to. She don't even know how to start it. "Can you listen to all of my words?" she asked.

He smiled at her and shortly answered, "Yes."

She sigh one more time with her eyes still on the lake. She never know that Chanyeol will be her first comforter. Not even her sister, had hear her out before. Because she don't want to make all of her sisters worried. Especially as the youngest sister. "Why? Why do you want to hear me out?" she suddenly spoke up.

"Isn't that's the reason why I am here?" he asked.

"Then... Does it means that if I didn't dragged you here you won't hear me out?" she asked.

"No. Of course not. I just want to hear you out since I can't bear looking at your face like that. You make me feel sad," he explained.

"W-will you stay here until I told you to go?" she asked. She still didn't dare to look at him. It looks like she was talking with the lake.

"Nope," he simply answered. She finally looked at him with her eyes wide open. "I won't stay here and go until you told me to. I will stay here until I am sure that you are as happy as before. Now, tell me."

She can feel that her heart soften. She feel touched by that. She gave him a small smile then continue staring at the lake. Silence filled the air. No one's dare to break the silence. Until Aay finally closed her eyes and calmed herself.

"It was so frustrating. Just because of a small and short conversation, I can already act like this. I don't know why but to feel uneasy..." she started.

Flashback...

It all started on that day when she overheard strange conversations. It just happened that it was a quiet hallway. She want to walk away and ignored it but their words hit her.

"We need to do something."

It was a male voice. She tried to peek on them but she failed. It was dark inside. She just stand and lean herself on the wall beside the door and silently eavesdrop them.

"Something like what? Why are you freaking out? They won't know."

When she heard the other person's voice, she couldn't help but to judge that it was someone that she know. That voice sounds familiar enough to her. She thought of someone but she shoved that thought off because she never knew that the person she think was a kind person is actually a traitor.

"They won't know?" the person sigh a sly smile. "You think they're normal? They are too smart to be defeated but they're not that strong when it is about strength."

"Just fight with them."

"Are you crazy? It might be easy to say but it's hard plus some of them had already found their soul mate."

Hearing those conversation, she couldn't help but to think that they're referring to them. She was just too curious. Her eyebrows clustered together while continue listening to them.
