CHP 16: Lily's Soulmate

Lily's POV

All three of them had already went out. I was left alone in this big house. Fifi went out with Suho. Aay with Chanyeol. While the other one with Baekhyun. Now what should I do?

I was so bored so I decided to take a walk outside. I get my phone, my bag and my snapback cap. I locked the door and soon start to walk.

I was just looking around until I saw a familiar guy. Jongin? I mean Kai.

I approach him then tap his shoulder. I waved hi and smiled at him.

"Hi Kai!" I smiled.

"Oh! Lin Ah! Hi! What are you doing here?" he asked.

"Taking a short walk? I just feel bored alone at home. The others had already left for their English project," I said.

"I heard your English project are halfway done. Am I right?"

"Umm.. Actually yes. I hate doing things last minute."

"Then you better finishe the other half."

"I know. So, what are you doing here?"

"Jogging."

"Oh. You can continue if you want to. I can walk by myself."

"No, no, no. I just finished jogging so why not take a short walk together right?"

"Sounds great!" I exclaimed.

I never know he was this kind. We continue walking letting the wind hit our face.

"Did you enjoy studying at Mystic High School?" he asked.

"Umm.. Maybe yes."

"Why is there 'maybe'?"

"If I don't enjoy studying there, I would've probably already move."

"You're right. What's your favorite subject?"

"Probably English. How about you?"

"Music."

"Interesting. So what are you major at? Vocal?"

"Ani. Maybe rapping."

"Whoah.. I always wish I can rap."

"Of course you can! Just need to believe in yourself."

"How would you know if I can? What if I suddenly end up making people laugh?"

"Other people doesn't know who you are. You are the only one that know yourself much better than anyone. If you think you can rap, then trust yourself."

"Where did you learn to say such motivated words?" I smiled.

"My dad."

My smile slowly faded. I think it's because I miss my dad. Is he okay? I wish I can hug him right now. Tell him how much I miss him.

"What's wrong with the face? Did I say something wrong?" he asked worried.

"Ani. I just currently missing my dad," I fake smile.

"Ah.. Mianhe. I shouldn't have brought such topic that can hurt you."

"No, no. It's okay. It didn't hurt me."

"Jinjja? But you know what? I can see that you are giving me a hurtful smile instead of a better smile."

"I just miss him. Nothing much,"

"I am sorry."

Silence filled the air. I was still deep in thought. Soon, we stopped for awhile and took a sit at the bench nearer.

"It must be hard to live without parents," he said.

"Kind of," I said looking down at the ground. Without my realization, my tears suddenly fall down my cheek.

I start to sob and cry. At this time, I really need a warmth hug.

"Yah, gwaenchana? Why are you crying. I am so sorry," he said then wipe off my tears. Soon he hug me. I feel more ease.

But something unexpected happened. My thumb. It's... Glowing...

Soulmate.

I pushed him then act like I am fine.

"Gwaenchana?" he asked.

I try to make my thumb stop glowing. But it was useless. I was rubbing my thumb and I think he saw what I am doing.

"You-you're finger.." he said with big eyes.

I bite my lips not knowing what to do. He must have thought that I am a monster. Or a witch. Or maybe a...

"Are you.." he said pointing at me.

I close my eyes firmly but still rubbing my thumb. What's happening next, I don't know. Soon, I felt another hand rubbing my thumb.

I stop rubbing my thumb then I slowly open my eyes. I look at my finger then it slowly turn to normal. It didn't glow anymore.

"Tell me, are you a human?" he asked.

"O-of course," I stuttered.

"Liar. Only angels can let their birth mark glow when they meet their soul mate," he smiled.

How... How did he know?

"You caught me, but how did you know that only angels can let their birth mark glow?" I asked.

"That's because I am from Fantasy. I am angel," he smiled.

What?! He is a what?! An angel from Fantasy?!

"Tell me, is your power teleportation?" I asked.

"Yes. That was why I am your soul mate. Isn't that great? We finally found each other. The powerful embrace had finally happen to us!" he said.

"Po-powerful embrace?" I asked confused.

"Because of the embrace, we finally found each other. That was why it called as the powerful embrace. An embrace that can make us meet our soul mate."

"Oh. Why am I so stupid?" I laughed.

"So, you missed your parents because they're at Fantasy. Right?"

"Umm.. Yeah. Only my dad. He is the only family member that was at Fantasy."

"How about your siblings?"

"They are he--" what am I trying to say. He don't have the right to know that Zee, Fifi and Aay are my siblings.

"They are where?"

"They are also on this Earth but don't know where."

"Ah.. I see. How about Airen, Hyorin and Sanghwa? Did they know about you?"

"Of course! I need help from them so I tell them. They don't care about who I am actually."

"I think it's already late. You should go home," I said.

"I have an idea! How about we teleported together to our home?" he smirked.

"Stupid. We are in public!"

"Let's go somewhere then!" he said then dragged me to a place which is quieter. It's better here. No one is around here and probably won't saw us.

"So, on the count of three," he said.

He still hold my hand. Both of us get ready in our position. We were like getting ready to jump then vanished.

"One..."

We make eye contact. Then slowly getting ready to let go of our hand.

"Two..."

He hold my index finger ready to let it go.

"Three!"

Poof!

Here I am in the house again. This is fun!
